The owner told him that he cannot do that, that they will not sell to him, and told him to get out. That's totally understandable because I understand the safety regulations for COVID-19. Then she turns to the rest of us, who ALL had masks on, and told us she CANNOT and WILL NOT sell to us because one person in our group did not wear a mask. We went outside and asked our friend who came in a different car to go in and buy the drinks. She refused. Then she came our of the store to yell at us for being in the same group. She proceeded to rudely scream out to us that she will get fined if she sells to people with in the same group as someone without a mask. That it is ILLEGAL. She wanted to argue with us and tell us to gtfo her parking lot to go somewhere else or she will call the police. What sense does it make that she cannot sell to the rest of us who had masks on? Many of us work in the retail/pharmacy/restaurant business as well, so we know that masks are required. She looked ignorant and racist yelling at us and trying to tell us these "laws". We even asked her tell us what regulation article number her "laws" are and she was unable to tell us. Our friend could have simply went out to the car to grab a mask too. It's not a hard thing to do. Or she could have sold to the rest of us who were wearing masks. We viewed this as a racist act. A group of asian people coming to the beach, where we did hear people say things such as "what are these people doing here". If you open a business, you should expect to receive business from everybody. This is just something nobody wants to experience, especially on a holiday such as July 4th where we all want to gather to do the same thing - watch fireworks.
