Not going there again. Barely some meat in my sandwich, soggy fries in a box. Order was messed up twice. I will stick with classic döner.

A little gem of a falafel place. Not cheap, but tasty, and the guys working there are always friendly.

Everything in the platter was delicious, but the falafel in particular was out of this world!!! It was so different from the falafels I'm used to. It's crunchy on the outside. And these falafels are HUGE! My friend lives in Berlin and this is her favorite place to eat. Come here if you have the chance, you won't regret it.

Locate the place and order the most recommended dish. Al-Andalos is located in the busy part of Neukölln, right on Sonnenallee. On a Saturday night at 10 p.m., it was full to the rim. No seats, stressed out staff, people fight for seats and the spot in the line to get the delicious food. We ordered the Al-Andalos platter for two (meat) for 11 EUR, which comes with an entire package of Arabic/Lebanese bread. We were barely able to finish the entire plate, there are many tasty things on this plate and even my companion that night, who is generally not so quickly to impress, admitted that it was probably the best he has eaten in a long time. Fresh, tasty, large portions and fair prices. Staff is super friendly and attentive! I think I will have to drive out to Neukölln more often!

Not sure about the hype. There are lots of people standing in line so we tried this place…read more What was not good: 1) We ordered 4 falafel balls for 1€. We ate one and threw the rest away. Why? Cause the falafels were terrible. They are completely oversalted (I eat pretty damn salty) and they were greasy af 2) inside this food stand it's incredible dirty. The server also doesn't give a shit or makes a secret of it as he cleans stuff, takes your money and grabs the falafel with the same unwashed hands 3) We wanted to pay with coins and he said he doesn't take low values coins. lol! 4) since it's cheap the quality is accordingly. What was good of at all: 4 falafel for 1€ is cheap. maybe that's the reason people go here? My advice: there are so many better falafel spots. If you are on a budget. Ok give it a try but if that's not the case. Skip this place

Since I am vegan, my options were narrowed down to basically just Falafel at midnight. Many Falafel places offer low quality Falafel "Sandwich" for 2.50 Euro. But this place has a better Falafel in a real pita roll for only 1 Euro! This is quite amazing. I am pleased that it is located pretty close to where I am staying right now. Can you find a better option?

I tried 6+ different spots and ruyam was by far the best. Came here on a Thursday at ~11am (to avoid the lunch rush) and it was jam packed with students and working professionals. Luckily the staff here are super efficient yet patient with customers. It's self-service. You order at the counter and they'll call out your number. Many claimed their seats before ordering, which id recommend as there are only ~15 tables inside. Once I ordered, food was ready in ~5min. And it was huge! A fresh flatbread slathered with a delicious garlic sauce and stuffed with warm juicy chicken kebab sliced fresh off the spit and fresh salad mix. The thought of this kebab sandwhich is making me drool. The toppings were almost falling out because of how much they stuffed in. Probably one of the best bites I had in Berlin! And for €8, it was a steal! When I went it was not crowded and typical. The staff mentioned it's usually a 40-60 min wait with lines out the door.
