Waste of money and a total con. They ask you for money to subscribe monthly. Then you get zero leads and the post they send us written by AI and not even totally understandable to recruit Nannie's. I also signed up for the management service and no one ever reached out to share candidates. Do NOT waste your money it's a pyramid scheme. NANNY POD IS A SCAM! I had a terrible experience with NannyPod and would discourage anyone trying from their service. I regret signing up for their service. I had 0 transparency on any of the profiles that could have potentially matched, never saw my profile and had absolutely no contacts for a month. When I requested to cancel my subscription, nannyPod required me to do so within my profile, rather than simply canceling it directly on their end. I work in eCommerce, consider myself to be internet savvy and spent a very long time trying to find the button to unsubscribe. THIS IS ON PURPOSE TO DISCOURAGE INDIVIDUALS FROM BEING ABLE TO UNSUBSCRIBLE EASILY. I did not find the unsubscribe button within the 24 hours that are the "grace period" of their automatic renewel and therefore the company recharged me. After persisting, I found the unsubsribe however the company refused to refund me and quit responding to my emails, 48 hours after the renewel. I have submitted my complaint to the Better Business Bureau. There are many competitors to nannyPod. I had very good experiences with the other companies so I would recommend you take your business elsewhere. read more

I signed up with Nanny Pod last year after having moved back to Charleston. I thought it was a great idea since I didn't have any local sitters established. I paid the one year membership fee and booked a sitter. She was pretty useless and I didn't really want her to come back the next time, but I figured oh well this will give me a pool of people to choose from going forward. Every time after that that I tried to use Nanny Pod the sitters were never available, no one could ever do the jobs. I end up building a pool of my own people through Facebook and neighbors, friends etc. Fast forward a year later, I have only use the service one time in the past year and it was the day I signed up. They just charged me $120 renewal fee without my authorization. I called immediately and explained that I did not wish to renew. The owner told me they have a 31 day cancellation policy and I should have emailed 31 days ago and then said, "so obviously I can't refund your money". What kind of a company does business this way? Stealing money from mothers in town? Look at the other reviews I'm not the only one. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Stay away from this place, it is a scam!!! read more

I just wanted to give a review of nannypod.com so others don't trust it. We were in need of a last minute sitter and thought to give it a try. I want to warn others to not make the mistake that I did. The business looks great on the outside: they provide sitters and nanny with criminal record checks. But, it's one of those places where the owner (Kevin N. Hedges) has a voicemail box that is perpetually full (likely with unhappy customers' attempts to get better service). My personal experience has been that this business runs off of miscommunication resulting in taking customer's money without delivering a product. I get the sense that Kevin Hedges has no desire to actually help and establish relationships with customers and employees; he just wants to take their money without delivering a product. read more
