Balloon Guru was the only vendor actively engaging with me. I had only 2 weeks before my event and needed to book a vendor. The process was quick and efficient. Although I had no other vendors to which I could compare pricing, I did feel the price was a bit expensive. However, when you are in a bit of a time crunch, you have to go with what you got. We ordered 2 balloon columns and 2 demi-arches to help add to the decor for our event. The items were delivered in the promised window and we were pleased with outcome. My only slight complaint was that I wish the demi-arches were a bit taller to not make our taller guests have to bend down to avoid possibly running into a balloon. Other than that, everything went fine with the balloon order. I would recommend Balloon Guru.

They didn't have a dinosaur Pinata when I went in so I asked her and she brought it to the store the next day for me to pick it up. The Pinata was $40 even, and came with a Pinata stick too! I highly recommend getting a Pinata here! The parking was street parking right in front of the store.

I couldn't find any piñatas at stores or on online, and most online options are superrr expensive! When I found piñata place, i was so surprised they were able to do custom designs, for relatively short notice, and I was charged a very reasonable and affordable amount $39. The store also had other pre made options that could work well for multitude of events. For example, Disney/cartoon characters, giant beer bottles, etc. Getting to the store was easy as well, plenty of street parking. The lady who helped me (sorry i forgot your name!) was very nice and friendly. I placed the order just a week and a half before the event i needed it for, and she told me it typically takes at least 2 weeks but expedited it for me. She actually had it ready 2 days in advanced! So cool that they have this custom service. Def will recommend this small business for all your piñata needs.

Update based on Gol's response:…read more - Your response to our review is inaccurate and shows the lack of communication we experienced. You told us how busy you were today having 2 other displays/events and it's obvious that we didn't get the best quality based on how busy you were. - We really just wanted to chat through this with you to figure out a reasonable updated price, but you avoided discussing it with us and never responded, so we made this review. - We did not say 6-7pm was fine for pickup. We mutually agreed on 4pm specifically bc our son goes to sleep between 6-7pm and we wanted everything from the party cleaned up before that. - The fact that it fell over again AFTER your employee supposedly fixed it, says it all. We had to go find bags of gravel to try to keep it standing during the middle of our party. - We did not leave her "equipment" in the street. We live in a nice neighborhood and we left your wooden boards near our front door, leaning safely against our house. - Gol was over 3 hours late to pickup her "equipment" so we actually thought we were doing her a favor, bringing everything to the front of our house. Super disappointed to be honest - these things happen. I'm disappointed at how poorly she handled the situation and how blatantly false her response was. ‍ --------------- Original post: Super disappointed bc they have so many 5 star reviews. - They showed up late to setup - The design was not what we asked for and confirmed prior to payment and the pictures she sent us confirming the design were not what she brought on the day of the party. - The display fell over numerous times, nearly falling on a few toddlers playing right next to it. - The balloons repeatedly came off and were popping - They were 3+ hours late in picking up the displays at the end of the day - We politely texted Gol stating why were weren't happy and she said she'd be there in person to address our issues. Instead of talking to us, she picked up her displays with out telling us she was here and stopped responding to us. Never using her services again. You're better off finding someone else!

There are also lots of books to choose from for how small the store is. They also have a wide variety of artsy gifts. But here's to the bad. However recently I went in to browse the selection of Hobonichis, since they're the only store in the city to have them. For some reason, instead of stocking them on the international release day (like I was originally told), they decided to stock them on September 4th. Disgruntled, but my fiancee promised to come back. So, she did! Came back on September 4th right when they opened, and wouldn't you know they were NOT in stock. In fact, they didn't even have them, they were stuck in customs. My fiancee was also with multiple other people who had been told the same things, all showing up for their Hobonichi release, only to be disappointed. So, here's the issue. Lying to customers about having a product, when you DONT is absolutely wild. Assuring customers it will be in stock on a specific day, then not telling your customers that it can't, is so beyond unprofessional. To me, it felt like a game to Warwicks in an attempt to drum up hype for these highly sought after brand and items. Overall I'm really going to need Warwicks to redeem themselves on this one.

After a quick google search and Yelp, I called Jennae from Party Pax. LIFE SAVER! From the beginning Party Pax was professional, and even had great vendors to help with characters/cakes/cookies. I used all her resources and the party was terrific. The process is simple. Order what you want, pick it up, set up for the party and return when you're done. I was absolutely floored at the selections and quality of all of her settings. I ordered seating for 24 girls and 12 boys in 2 separate themes. It is literally the easiest thing ever to setup. Everything comes in very neatly packed boxes with an instruction sheet. The tables break down small enough to fit in a car as do the child sized chairs. As a man who wears jeans and t-shirts and has absolutely no sense of fashion or ability to put something like this together - it was a breeze. I also rented her red carpet roller and hilarious "Musical Princess throne" for my daughter which was a huge hit. I am sure Jennae changes the battery in that thing every rental! Super easy business to deal with - responsive and even accommodated a last minute add of an additional 12 settings I requested. Pickup and dropoff - easy. Repacking - easy. Can't say enough, completely awesome business and owner. I have a 6, 4, and 1 year old - plan on keeping Jennae busy the next several years until the kids are too big for her settings!

Communication was always on time, and she was always supplying us with the information we needed. What I liked most about this company was that Sylvia gave me a quote along with different ideas and packages to choose from. Instead of me having to tell a company exactly what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend, I really liked having different options and packages to choose from. It made the whole process so much easier. We hired Sylvia for our daughter's 18th birthday party for about 25 people, and everything was perfect. They came early in the morning on the day of the event and set everything up, then came back about an hour before the party started with the food. Everything was right on time and looked amazing. The food was delicious as well, and we had plenty of leftovers. Not one complaint about the food, and these were 18-year-old girls, so that says a lot! We also had a photo booth and the telephone where the girls could leave private messages for the birthday girl. That was such a fun and special touch and ended up being one of my favorite things. Aesthetically, everything looked beautiful, and I'll add some pictures so you can see for yourself. Everyone we worked with from Sylvia's company was professional, friendly, and very efficient. At one point, the wind knocked over some of the photo booth decorations, and they came over right away and fixed everything without us even having to worry about it. One other thing I loved about working with Sylvia is that she is a Navy veteran. If supporting a veteran-owned business is important to you, this is a great way to do it while also getting an amazing product and service. I would absolutely recommend Sylvia and Affordable Party Rentals to anyone planning a party or event. They made everything so easy from start to finish, and we will definitely be using them again!

And yes...I had to explore all three! Both markets were bright, clean, and incredibly well organized. One of my favorite sections was the tea aisle. As someone who absolutely loves tea, I was in heaven. Their selection is huge, with everything from loose-leaf teas to powdered varieties that you don't typically find in traditional American grocery stores. I'll definitely be back to stock up on a few new favorites. I originally stopped in to purchase a matcha whisk set, but it was a little more than I wanted to spend. That didn't stop me from finding a few treasures, though! I ended up browsing the cookware section and picked up a beautifully designed set of reusable chopsticks along with beginner-friendly M-shaped training chopsticks. One unexpected highlight was getting to try a hand massage machine. It applies pressure to acupuncture points throughout your hand, and wow--it felt amazing! I'm seriously considering going back just to buy one. The produce section also looked fresh and inviting, so I can definitely see myself returning to shop for groceries. Plus, since my sons love anime, I already know they'll enjoy checking out the merchandise store with all the fun Japanese collectibles and character items. Whether you're looking for authentic Japanese groceries, unique kitchenware, specialty teas, or fun gifts, Tokyo Central & Main is absolutely worth visiting.
