Most of the time I only buy my fried chicken from certain takeaway shops but when I visited this shop I was pleasantly surprised. It's not bad at all and they offer great value meals for those on a tight budget who can't afford to buy expensive lunches. They don't overdo the chicken coating as some places tend to overdo it and therefore the chicken ends up tasting horrible. Also, it's not as greasy as what I expected; which was a pleasant surprise as well. I paid about £2 for a chicken and chips meal and that totally filled me up for most of the day.

I don't really expect much when it comes to take away anyway but at the same time i don't think it takes much either to get simple things like an order right. I don't really expect much in the way of food quality either but there is food and then there is bin contents and quite frankly this was bin contents. The restaurant is casual dining done right. You get seated, take note of your table number, get up to go order at the counter, give them your table number, pay, and the food will be brought to you. I had the lemon herb, garlic, and hot... all 3 gave each bite of chicken a different (delicious) flavor; the hot sauce does have a kick to it but it's not overpowering. The garlic mayo mixed with the garlic sauce is a fantastic dip for the fries!! You have to ask for the garlic mayo but all of their sauces are at the condiment station and you can grab as many bottles of the different kinds of sauces offered.
