I was sick to death of flat, sad, heat-lamp warmed KFC garbage and longed for fried chicken done right. Deep South Chicken absolutely knocked it out of the park! If I could give more stars I would. The seasoning is fantastic, the chicken was crispy yet incredibly succulent and was freshly made with steam rising from it. In addition, the portions are massive. I ordered 3 tenders and each was nearly the size of my hand. As a side I ordered fries which were fresh, crispy and fantastically seasoned. Let's take a second to mention the staff. When I first entered I was warmly greeted. I told the man I was new to the restaurant and he began by explaining the options and recommending dipping sauces with excitement in his voice. I placed my order, chose my sauce and waited. When the food came out - super quickly, might I add! - the server added a second sauce, on the house, saying he wanted me to experience his favourite. In addition he gave me a fourth tender for free to use on the sauce so I didn't use one of the three I paid for in the off chance I didn't enjoy it. Now THAT is service and TLC. Summary: delicious food, massive portions, wonderful staff all for $9.95. I will be back with friends. Thank you!
