The venue itself is massive, which to be honest doesn't make for the best atmosphere as it always seems empty (how do they stay open, it really does always seem empty, the rent must be huge). My wife loves that she can talk in her native tongue as the staff are mostly Brazilian which helps, and they don't take the piss when I give my Portuguese a whirl which I always appreciate The food itself consists of a salad buffet along with a hot buffet that when u get there and it's fresh is great. Brazilian beans are a particular fave but don't overdo the carbs, you are saving room for the meat!!! The meat comes in waves of different types, carved at your table. If you haven't tried Brazilian meat, it's well worth it although some cuts are definitely better than others. The good thing is u can l try as many as you want for the £19.95 which is quite pricey but you will leave stuffed! A selection of traditional Brazilian deserts are available although I'm not massively into these, plus I'm normally too full anyway! When we visited La Florentina, we were greeted by a friendly waiter but after sitting down, he took ages to take our drinks orders. We'd decided on only having a main course by then as the starters didn't look that interesting but he darted off before we could order the food. I had a simple carbonara which was ok but a bit too creamy and my wife had a quattro stagione pizza which she said was really nice. Price wise it was pretty reasonable but we didn't eat that much really. I wouldn't recommend taking a first date there as you may not get a second one!

Service is slow and a bit cumbersome, but that is hardly surprising given that at 8 o'clock, I was the only person eating here. It is so refreshing to have a decent eatery on Bedfont High Street, that isn't a Fast food joint. It has an alcohol license, so is always buzzing. The food is great, and is a mix of Portugese and english food. Having a beer with a cooked English breakfast, when your not feeling your best will soon sort you out after a night out!! Prices are reasonable, and the guys who work there are so friendly. I love going here during the weekend, as it has a real European atmosphere. If you are in the area check it out!
