Well this was awful. I used to live in chilliwack and would only go to Nancy's I had my entire wedding party here a decade ago and lived it so sad to visit and go back to this. It was awful I will never go back now. a girl named apple did my pedicure and petting my legs like a dog was her massage. The water was warmist at . Would NOT make it warmer I asked 4 times. She had to keep getting her boss to come talk to me and paint a flower on my toe that my 11 year old could have done with color from a dollar store. Just terrible, start to finish. The woman seemed interested only in how quickly she could get me finished and out of the chair. Nails were cut crookedly, the "filing" was laughable - less than 30 seconds for both hands - and when I asked for clear gloss I got nail strengthener. It would have to work very, very hard to reach mediocrity. And more expensive than Luna Nail, who always does a far superior job to this - actually, I can do a better job than this and I wish I'd saved the money and done it myself. I have been going to Nancy's nails for some years now and I've always seen "Amy". Today when I went for my appt today for a fill, Amy, was not there, I was told she doesn't work there anymore. The owner, the only male there, heard me asking my tech for the same thing Amy does for me, he interrupted me to say" Amy doesn't work here anymore, stop talking about "Amy". I didn't respond because I needed the fill. My tech did not fill my color tip even though I had picked a color, the owner td her not to do it cuz my color looked" good" so I received a thin layer of clear over my nails and I was done, they are very weak plus there is a definite line where my color has grown out. I would not recommend this place because the people there are extremely rude and didn't listen when I told her I wanted them long she cut them shorter they also didn't file down the nail so they were extremely thick and didn't cover the nail properly The shape is also really Jankie and I don't think that they went to nail school because It didn't look like they knew what they were doing and things that she would do to one hand she wouldn't do to the other and they are extremely rude and don't listen to what you say read more

I was going here for a long time and I am not sure if there is a change in product or what but every time in the last few months I have broken a nail within a week. When attempting to have the issue fixed am told to come back hours or even days later while just having to deal with it in pain. I was a loyal client for years but will not be back and u hope this review is able to save someone else's nails. Another note check what they charge you, price list says $35 for a fill and they charged me $45. read more

Okay so the one employee (I think his name is Nick,) kept flirting with all the young girls who walked through the door, including me and my friend. Throughout the entire time, he sped through every step and when he got to the filing, he sliced my finger and it wouldn't stop bleeding. After a few mins he told me to go wash it off and that he would take care of it. He proceeded to grab a buffer (to fix it??) and ended up slicing it deeper! The male behind the counter has been repeatedly rude to my 83 year old father. Twice in the last 2 months he's tried to take my mom there for a mani-pedi... and was met with rude indifference. This time, I made an appointment for a mani-pedi to make sure there were no issues or "misunderstandings" - but the man claimed he couldn't find my mother's name (it was there)... They rushed her through, giving her a pedi only because she didn't have an appointment. None of us will ever go back. Not likely to go back, I have been to several of these mani-pedi $45 places and this one does not stack up. Was short changed on time, therefore didn't get a very good mani-pedi. Had an appt. but had to sit and wait 20 minutes (maybe this is why I got short changed on my spa time.) Also when doing the pedi the lady was very rough and the stiff brush scrubbing the insteps of my feet.......was a surprise! Whew, that smarted!!! read more

$5 extra to get a different shape of nail other than round or square. Too concerned about how much time certain requests will take. Just a get in and get out as fast as they can kinda service, but have no problems on trying to upsell you on an additional service's once one is done. If you're not satisfied with how the nail shape/length is compared to another they just shrug it off and say it's the angle you're looking at and refuse to correct it. If they see a fault in the work that was done, they blame it on you, saying you touched something so that's why it is the way that it is and won't fix it (unless you want to pay more to fix it). Trying to keep up on certain trends but don't actually understand how to use the product properly which results in a dissatisfactory outcome. They just try to convince you that it's just what you chose and unfortunately that's just how things turn out, that it's not always going to be what you see on display. (If that's the case, what's the point of a display?) Use to be the best place to go to. Just keeps getting worse. You pay a lot of money for these services and feel like you're stuck with the outcome no matter what. Pointing out a mistake isn't necessarily a bad thing. Just fix it and accept there was a mistake. Acknowledgment and doing right goes a long. Otherwise I probably wouldn't bother writing such a review. Stop letting pride and greed get in the way. read more

I have been using Nancy's for years, the girls up until two sundays ago were amazing but it took one girl to ruin it all. I have anxiety when it comes to a lot of the tools due to bad experiences and when i voiced to this woman how I don't like certain tools used on my feet (essentially making the job easier) she went off about how I needed it and to suck it up. I almost threw up she made me so uncomfortable. Then after she finished she tried to shoo me out the door with out getting my manicure and sound SO inconvenienced that she had to do it. She "fixed" one of my broken nails and as she sanded it down I saw it rebreak and gauging at the look on her face she knew it broke but decided the rest of the "patch job" she did would hold it together and proceeded to paint it. Worst manicure ever. She "shaped" my nails in a way I didn't ask for and broke a second one which she then proceeded to try and hide as well as only half painted one of my other fingers. When I came in a week later to see if I could get it fixed the owner just yells at you from his chair "what you want" when I state it he scoffs and goes I don't have any time now you come back at 5. Ok well for 3 nails I didn't have 5 hours to kill then come back to them for it when he's already being embarrassing enough yelling for the whole place to hear rather then getting up and acknowledging someone as an individual. When I called to complain since they were "too busy" for me at the moment he proceeded to yell at me on the phone while still with a client. I told him after four years I'd no longer be coming back and that I won't continue sending ppl his way either. Everyone has always told me how awful Nancy's was and yes my manicure & pedicures which were just shellac always looks like one of my kids did it but most of the time they made me feel comfortable and that was what was important. Not any more. If you respect yourself and your nails don't go to Nancy's. They just want you in and out. Oh and he kept yelling on the phone for everyone to hear that I just wanted a free fix, I made it abundantly clear in four years I have NEVER complained about a thing and I have only ever come in for TWO fixes including today. Very poor customer service I am thoroughly disappointed and surprised people even continue to go there with attitudes like that. read more
