Love this place! So clean! The ladies are super sweet and they do an awesome mani / pedi.

I went there to get a fill with a friend and she had been there before and knew what she thought was the full set prices, but we were very shocked at the end when we paid an overpriced amount for some pretty crappy work... they weren't thorough with their prep work. They got the acrylic all over our fingers. They didn't match each finger up when filing down and they charge an extra $15 for a nicer French tip. I do not recommend going here. read more

I went in for a quick manicure and ended up getting the manicure/pedicure special. The aesthetician that looked after me was unbelievable good! When she was doing the pedicure, I thought I'd been misunderstood and was getting the deluxe treatment. I just figured okay, we all need to treat ourselves sometimes! When I was done and went to pay, I was shocked! It was $45! The special rate! I can't say enough about this salon, the treatment was superb and I felt like a million bucks! I decided to give this place a try because I needed my nails done on a Monday and my usual place was closed. I don't think I will be returning. I went in to get my fake nails taken off and then get shellack. They got my nails off easily by just prying them off, and then, for reasons unknown, she grinded my real nails down so thin that they feel like paper. My nails are all different lengths and shapes. Because my nails were grinded down to almost nothing, four of them have broken, one of which ripped off about half way up my nail, so I'm sure you can imagine how painful that was. Six days after spending $40 and I can't even go get my regular place to fix them because I have almost no nail left on one finger. So as far as quality work goes, I don't recommend this salon. That being said, the staff were very friendly and if they had done a half decent job, I probably would have gone back regularly, but there is no way I would risk having this happen again. read more

I was visiting the area and needed a nail fill. I called and got an appt for 45 minutes later. I was greeted as soon as I entered and Trang did my nails. She did a great job and spoke of her passion for what she does as she was drawing butterflies on my thumbnails. She had some creative ideas that helped me utilize the colours I wanted. Excellent and friendly service. There's a bit of a language barrier and if you have a problem understanding Asian accents, this isn't going to be a place for you. All staff I've met so far speak Vietnamese fluently and accented English. Manicures and pedicures turn out beautifully every time. read more

i've gone here quite a few times but i find that the pricing is never the same. my friend goes here too and they charge her significantly cheaper. it was better when it was mostly just the one girl doing nails now there are several other girls who aren't nearly as good and take significantly longer read more

My first visit to make an appointment. A very pleasant male asked what I needed and took pertinent information for my booking. Looking forward to some R&R time getting my nails refreshed. I arrived today, 10 minutes earlier to have a moment to pick my nail colors. I was advised they are behind, all good. Sitting next to another customer already sitting for 30 min. for manicure. Half an hour later, 3 more customers showed up for 3 o'clock appointment, both were explained they were behind. One gal said, frantically I have a dinner date at 5....need them done. The not too friendly associate said, oh don't worry we will fit you in.....UHM...there was me and another gal waiting. (Squeeze her in, I had to be somewhere as well) About 10 minutes, someone was filling for the pedicure ( for the squeezed in customer). The other 3 o'clock appointment left. The squeezed in customer was getting her Pedi. as we sat there. The 2 o'clock girl was sent to a sit. The unfriendly girl said...what is it you need, what is on your nails. I explained I had tips done first time for me, not understanding the terms...She looks at my fingertips, flipped my fingers away....told me to sit by the 2 o'clock person where I sat looking at inventory, obviously I was there to watch the 2 o'clock person get her nails done. The unfriendly associate had the 3 o'clock person sit at her station....and there they were yapping away as long lost friends....meanwhile, 2 customers got served before me and not to forget 2 walking out. Not too happy to say the least. I will not recommend and I am sure to let others know as well as the manager/owner. 3 customers left in that hour without being looked after or even treated with courtesy of a coffee (which would of made waiting worthwhile) read more

Worst Service EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They don't deserve any stars at all. I only signed up to to write this review. I was so disappointed. What was supposed to be a nice first experience getting my nails done, ended in a disaster. Not only was there a lack of understanding, also after asking for my money back or fixing the problem they offered to remove the nail polish and give me $5 back. So they basically wanted me to pay them money for no service. They ended up fixing the problem, however the end result did look anything but professional. This is by far the most amazingly relaxing Gel Mani-Pedi I've ever had. Tom, the owner was awesome! Love his customer service skills and how well he took care of me. The technician, Trang did an amazing job on my nails. This is going to be my nail salon from now on. Love this place and it's reasonable pricing! Found myself in Mission with some girlfriends ahead of our friend's wedding this past weekend, and we decided to get our nails did. I'm not sure of the name of any of our technicians because none of them were very chatty. It was kind of an....unusual experience haha. The main issue seemed to be that none of the Shellac nail samples actually matched the colour inside the bottles, so we had picked a colour based on the sample, and then the tech opened the bottle and it was.... not even close. There was one that was a nice greige on the sample, but was a bright barbie pink in the bottle. Finally picked what looked like a nice neutral but it came out a pinky-purple! I've never had that happen with any shellac at other salons, so it was an interesting time. All that said though, the price is great, and despite the weird and unexpected shade, my polish was applied very well. read more

This was the worst mani-pedi experience I have ever had! It was so unrelaxing! Never have I ever had a full on gel nail polish manicure done WHILE I sat in the pedicure chair having my pedicure! I had to stretch my right arm over to the left side of body as she stood on the left side to do my manicure. Then the light was placed on my lap for my nails to sit under and cure! It didn't take so she eventurally moved me to the manicure station! I will never go back! read more

Just signed up to write this review. Don't go there! Don't even think about! I've never ever had such a miserable service. Their English is hard to understand. When I was asking because I simply couldn't understand their pronunciation, they got angry and lost their patience. We wanted to have the exact same service - NO Fake nails! Just french. But we got two different treatments. My friend was requested to hold her nails underneath the UV-lamp what caused little bubbles on the nails while the lady dealing with me explained, that for french you don't use UV-lamp... When we went back to ask, the woman explained, that this were her nails making bubbles (...). And regarding the pink touch my friend's nails had, she told us that she made them shiny looking especially for her. They were as shiny as mine and mine weren't pink. They used exactly the same products! Okay, they did fix the problem but there is no excuse of trying to blame someone's nails just because they were not able to do what has been asked for. read more

We recently moved to Mission and after having a horrible experience at another nail salon earlier yesterday I called Crystal Nails for a last-minute appointment to fix my nails. Jimmy was so helpful and fit me in within a few hours with Heidi. When I arrived, I showed them what I wanted and they were very honest and helpful with what it would require. I decided on a different look, and Heidi not only fixed the mess I had, but did a phenomenal job! I love my nails and can't wait for my next appointment in two weeks! I literally made this account specifically to talk about my experience here. I am a very easy going person and it really does take a horrible experience to complain but my daughter and my boyfriends daughter went a week ago to come get mani/pedis for what was supposed to be a nice, bonding, girls day out...I called ahead to see if it was OK for me to bring my daughter as she is younger and they assured me it was perfectly fine. We came in and it was quite busy, totally expected for a Sunday afternoon and we were sat at two massage chairs as my daughter had to sit in my lap. it took about 20 minutes for them to start my pedicure while my boyfriends daughter ended up waiting over 45 mins for them to even start hers. The lady doing my pedicure was getting mad that I didn't know exactly what to do with me feet seeing as she didn't tell me any instructions, and because my daughter was sitting in my lap my legs weren't so easy to move. She was very clearly irritated by my daughter even though she was being quite well behaved. I asked if she could please also paint her toe nails because that was the whole point of bringing her and she was so excited. She looked way less than impressed and quickly threw some polish on. After this She put us up at the front, my boyfriends daughter had JUST had her pedicure started at this point, and when I told her we were getting manicures as well she rolled her eyes at me, they manager Tommy who was very nice came up and started talking to her in their native language but I could tell she was just annoyed that she had to continue helping us. After 6 or 7 minutes of her arguing with him she brought us back she started painting my nails without any manicure , I chose two colours and when she put one that I had thought was a nice grey colour it was completely violet so I told her I'm sorry but I thought this was going to be grey can you suggest a different colour? Which her response was no this is grey.....Im not colour blind, it was purple..when i asked her again she said no it changes colours its grey, trusting her I let her continue. she rushed through doing my nails because she kept saying that my daughter was being impatient. She refused to paint my daughters fingers because she said she would just wreck them anyways, meanwhile my boyfriends daughter was left in the middle of her pedicure for ten minutes so the lady could help with other clients, then was placed in a manicure station on the opposite side so we couldn't even speak to each other. After paying $140 for everything and having that bad of an experience both mine and my boyfriends daughters shellac nails came off within the week when everywhere else I've ever gone they last at least 4-6 weeks to the point that they grow out before even lifting... I would never recommend this place to anyone. At least I wouldn't recommend the lady that was taking care of us she really did make it an uncomfortable experience. read more
