In sum: The cutest little sushi restaurant with the most affordably priced (and tasty!) sushi I've…read moreEVER seen. The sushi itself is so good. I got the 15 piece sushi arrangement the first day and was blown away by how good the sushi was given how cheap it was -- I don't think I've ever seen a comparable price in the States. The fish on the nigiri -- especially the salmon -- tasted super fresh, and I was so pleased with the maki as well. A little embarrassing but I had to come back the next day and got the vegetarian sushi platter, and it was SO good. The tofu/inari sushi was arguably the best kind I'd ever had, and their tamago was so good as well! Both came with a little self-served miso soup which was actually really good compared to some others I've had at sushi restaurants, and the chili oil in it was divine. (I put the chili oil in my soy sauce the second time since I wanted to spice the sushi itself up a bit and it was so good as well!) The staff are also really friendly! The lady that helped me both days was an angel, and even though there was a bit of a language barrier given I don't speak Swedish, her friendliness transcended spoken language. Very helpful and sweet! I've only been for lunch, and both times the food came out super quick as well. Absolutely love this place + would recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite of sushi while in Göteborg!

I'm not a big fan of sushi myself, but my gf is. While I know Sweden isn't famous for it's sushi,…read morethis place is pretty good. A new owner just took the place over, and she's so nice it's insane! When you order the first time, you not only get free candy but a pair of free socks. She'll also often throw in extra, for free, with your order. Socks and free food, what more can you ask for? They have also started making traditional, hand made dumplings there too; both meat and veggie. OMFG are they good! I've had them for breakfast, lunch and dinner once. If you're in the hood, drop in for the dumplings and free socks. Seriously!

I have seen this sushi bar many times, and decided to try it Saturday when my husband and I were…read moreshopping with our 9 year old daughter. Most of the other restaurants were full, with no sitting available. Sushi Bar 2 had a few sitting spots, so we took it. My husband and I decided to share the Sapporo 20 bitar and the Kyckling Bento ris for our daughter. We started with the inclusive miso soup. The bowls were pretty dirty, so I had to go through all of them to find 2 that didn't have stuff stuck to them. Now, I am pretty picky about things like this, and I am aware of it, so I tried to just let it go, and think that, yea, the dish washer must suck or something. The soup was pretty good, so I felt better. When our food came, that was a different story. The person that made this sushi, has zero knife skills. It was sadly butchered with pieces of the sushi broken off. The tuna, which should be a beautiful pink, was colorless around the edges, the salmon was stringy, the white fish was almost mushy and the avocado was bruised. Now the taste, was bland and bleh. When we left, I had a strange feeling in the back of my throat. It was like an itchy feeling that didn't go away for hours. I wish I never went to this place. I'm just glad I ate that tuna and that my husband didn't, or I would never hear the end of it. Good luck if you eat here. I regret that I didn't take a picture of this sushi to post on here.

This is THE best sushi place I have been to in Gothenburg hands down. It may not be the cheapest,…read morebut the sushi is delicious. I came in here with my boyfriend on a Saturday afternoon, and was surprised to see that it wasn't full. It's located right on on the water by the fish market, and I figured there would be more people there on a weekend. We weren't too hungry, so we each ordered one roll. I got the Salmon Roll, and he got the Rainbow Roll. Each roll was 100 sek. The presentation of the rolls was very cute. Each roll came with some seaweed salad, red onions in a sweet sauce, ginger, and wasabi. Each roll was drizzled in sauce. And the presentation in no way affected the taste of the sushi. Also, each meal comes with free miso soup. I'm not sure if this is during lunch hours, or all the time, but it definitely helped fill me up :) One thing I would like to note about this place is that the menu differs from many of the other sushi restaurants in Gothenburg. It isn't like the typical menu with 8-, 10-, 12-, or 15-piece order of assorted sushi pieces. It is more similar to an American sushi restaurant. Of course, there seems to be some Korean influence, and part of the menu (labeled "East Asia") is noodles, or bi bim bap (korean for fried rice or mixed rice i think). The other part of the menu of course is sashimi, sushi, and rolls. If you're American (like me), I would definitely recommend this place, because it is more like what we are used to back home. And we can be more picky with the rolls we get. ALSO WARNING TO WASABI HATERS: it seems that a lot of the rolls (at least, both of the ones we ordered) come with wasabi mayo in dollops on some of the pieces. I would recommend asking before ordering any rolls. Or at least asking them to make it without that sauce. :) You're welcome.
