About the restaurant: The staff is professional, helpful and friendly. The environment warm and relaxing. The food was really good and well done, fresh and tasty, but classical, not at all spanish/cuban in my eyes. My wife had the duck, it was rustique, and I had a risotto that was fresh but not creamy that I expect from ordering it at a restaurant. For desert I had a liqourice/rhum-sweet that was sublime though. My wife had a pannacotta that was alright, but not very original. Although I expected more from the restaurant, I surely will come back and recommend everyone to visit this place.

The seating area offers nothing special but is in no way bad. Three dishes was offered as a buffé with a very generouse vegetable buffé with everything you would wish for. Food was okay, only tasted one dish. Was not bad at all but not very special either. For a decent lunch with lots of options and buffé this place is great. For the price(90kr) I had hoped for a bit tastier food. Most other lunch restaurants in town are a bit cheaper.

The menu features the kind of Chinese dishes you expect from a Chinese restaurant. Probably nothing exceptional, but I also did not miss anything. I ordered some chicken and asked for a white wine with it, and actually enjoyed the white house wine. I noticed that our lovely waitress also brought me a glass of water along with the wine - something I think should be the standard everywhere. Altogether, I had a great dinner at China Sea with very friendly service and good portions of decent food. I will definitely come back when I will be in Varberg again.
