Just joined this yoga studio and have gone to the Beginning Flow and Flow classes. You need to arrive at least 5 minutes before class to check in and PARK IN THE BACK AND GO THROUGH THE BACK DOOR! The office is in the back and thats where the cubbies and stuff are. The two yoga instructors I've had so far, Debbie and Susana, have been really great! I particularly like Susana because she makes sure to address any injuries or limitations you may have and makes sure you dont hurt yourself. I found both classes to be challenging, relaxing and a great work out since I was sore the following day. The classes tend to be small with only about 5-8 students in each so you get a great atmosphere. The studio itself is big with lots of room to spread out while still being able to see the instructor. It is also aesthetically nice. The provide lots of props for use and mats. I really like this studio so far and look forward to taking more classes. I bought the 6 classes for $45 package which is for new students. They also offer a work program where you can work and earn free classes, which I hope to take part in to save money. So happy I joined and found a great studio with awesome instructors! read more

What I liked.. studio was nice and the classes are small 5-8 people so there is plenty of room. What I didn't like.. no one talked to me and kept to themselves. God forbid you give a smile to the person next to you. Now I understand that this is the way society is going, but in a room full of ladies I wouldn't expect it. Karen was the instructor who signed me up and she was not rude, but straight to the point and certainly not friendly and welcoming considering I was a newcomer and it was my 1st time there. I bought a new customer package for $45 which gives you 6 classes that have to be used within 30days. Here comes the next problem. I signed up Dec. 1. I travel for work and have a 4 year old. I tried my best scheduling in my 6 sessions, but with Christmas and New year's week and having my son home I was only able to make 4 of them. They are serious when they say NO exceptions. It's certainly not a policy that caters to the customer. When I showed up on Jan. 3 I was told my time ran out and it was $15 drop in rate. Holidays, don't care. Work schedule, don't care. Have children at home, don't care. I don't understand this policy as it doesn't impact the business in a negative way. They have the money up front so why do they care when I come?? So.. will I be going back?? NOPE! read more

I bought some classes and I had gone to the hot beginning yoga with Nikki and it is awesome! The problem is that if you miss classes due to sickness besides a pretty bad accident as I was told when I call today there is no extensions. I know it says in the website "no extensions" but life is full of surprises and unforeseen situations like my baby getting very sick and had to be in the ER with her or me getting sick from her and my lupus and rheumatoid arthritis overreacted too plus my asthma! So, I guess business is business right? I absolutely won't go back there; real yoga practitioners, the ones who really follow a yoga practice in their life and business are more compassionate. Poor pricing structure. Most studios do not limit packages to use it or lose it within 30 days. For example, packages at the Lotus Pond/Room are good for 6 months. No interesting workshops or events are held at this studio. read more

Joined a few weeks ago.. This studio is closest to me so I figured I would purchase 4 classes and give it a try. Won't be returning. Attended several Gentle classes. You must arrive 15 minutes before to get a decent spot otherwise you end up with a spot under an annoying fluorescent light that is quite disruptive especially during shivassana. There is no natural light or even diffused lighting in studio. It is dark and dreary. The studio could be set up differently with instructor placed in a different location thus allowing for more people to fit in. About 12-15 people come to this class. The class with the owner was a surprise as she rattled off instructions and directions so fast and harshly it was anything but peaceful and relaxing. There is no sense of community or friendliness -no introductions although it's apparent many participants have been a part if the class for a long time. I would not consider the gentle class as one recommended for beginners or seniors. It moves too quickly with more strenuous positions. Lastly packages of 4 classes need to be used within 30 days whereas other local studios minimum class package allows 60 days. Changes needed to make this a studio where one looks forward to attending. read more

I really enjoy this studio. The first class I took was a gentle yoga and I was so sore and refreshed the days after. Mind you- it was my first time EVER! The second class I took was the basic hot yoga. I felt a bit out of place because the instructor moved a little quick for me... again, that was only my second class so no fault to the instructor. Having said that, everyone in the class worked at a different level so I pushed through my own insecurities and did the best I could. Sadly, we had an unexpected death in the family just a week after I cashed in my gift card. It's been months and we are still getting my grandmom's estate in order. When I contacted the studio to see if my classes had expired, they had... but Adrienne was very understanding to the circumstances and graciously extended my expiration date which I'm grateful beyond words given the circumstances and how it's effected my health. One other thing I'd like to point out, is that they have a work program for those who may not be able to afford classes. I think that speaks volumes! I highly recommend. read more
