I've had vegetarian tajine in Morocco and it was on the bland side so maybe I shouldn't judge so harshly, but we're not in Morocco where they're doing vegetarian special for me. This is a vegetarian restaurant so I expected a little more creativity. It was mostly carrots. The Mediterranean salad had their balls on it, which we were eager to try. Also kind of tasteless. The spread (hummus) that topped the salad and the exciting looking green sauce - generally tasteless. There was a pickled item in the bowl that was nice. My dining partner had an iced matcha latte with almond milk. She didn't enjoy it much. All in all we were underwhelmed. Giving it an extra star as we appreciate vegetarian restaurants and realize we may be out of the ordinary for flavor expectations.

I have been here over 10 times, the food is always fresh. Choice is between a plate of the day or an oven plate. The latter takes about 20 minutes, but it's worth the wait. The front of the house has a high staff turnover, not always helping in atmosphere, as they seem to leave when trained. Unlike most Belgian restaurants, the owners or staff accepts it if you just have the food and some tap water. The audience is a good mix of students, couples, academics and young professionals. Sometimes the noise is a little overwhelming. But most of the times I was here, it was a nice experience. Dessert are fresh made cakes. My advice is to leave some space, as they are delicious. Plate of the day and dessert will have you out of here for under a 20 Euro. If you are around here, on a budget or just looking for the day without meat: here is your location!

There is a coffee -and tea maker in the room, absolutely a must for me. I haven't tried the food but the prices are okay, you can have room service till 22:30 and you have the choice out of salads, burgers, pizza and pasta from 8€ to 15€. Empty fridge in the room and a candy/snack/drinks vending machine in the hallway, perfect. The neighbourhood is excellent, many nice restaurants and shops, you won't get bored! If I had to find one thing to improve, a magnifying mirror in the bathroom would be great. In the elevator there is stated that there is a mini gym at the first floor but I haven't found it, bummer :-/ Anyway, good place, good prices!

Prices were reasonable. I think my risotto cost about 15 euros, and the portion was so generous that I ended up taking half of it home. Their house wine was totally acceptable and also reasonably priced. Although we'd reserved in advance, the place was nearly empty when we arrived around 12:30, and it wasn't much busier by the time we left at 3. On that note, service was extremely slow. The servers were very nice and accommodating though, so it was overall good service for Brussels.
