If you want to impress him, say 'hey you're from Paris aren't you?' He was certainly confused @ impressed that I guessed where he was from. More so as I'm not a French speaker. He bar is very comfortable to while away an evening. With wonderful retro chairs that invite you to sit, but do not invite you to stand quite so readily. Large selection of wines cover the walls, with the friendly knowledgeable of our new Parisian friend, this will no doubt be our place to both drink in & take out.

So if you're there by yourself, you can go and sit there with your glass of wine and chat with the bartender or read your book without feeling like a loser. Secondly, the wines are good. If you've been trying to get a decent glass of wine to unwind near Montgomery, then you've probably been to the two brasseries nearby, where you can get either a red wine or white wine, and they're both horrible. The owner and managers at Vin sur Wijn are Parisian, and they are very passionate and knowledgeable about their wines. Montgomery has been sorely lacking in a place like this. Highly recommended.
