My wife and I did not know what to really expect but from the initial video consultation, we were already impressed by her positive, upbeat attitude. Every meeting included detailed spreadsheets and key reminders that kept us all on track for the wedding date. I still remember them saying in our initial meeting how they always want to make the wedding couple a guest at their own wedding, not the hosts, so that they can thoroughly enjoy the night. Lemme tell ya, they 200% made us feel that way! Karen was not the day of coordinator for us; it was Chanelle and Rochelle who are also part of aficial. I cannot thank Chanelle enough for being present, calm, and always checked up on us during the wedding day! She was patient and understanding with some of our family members that could not speak English and she made sure everyone understood their assignments during rehearsal. On the wedding date, she stayed focused and organized via the timeline, especially during the family and friend pictures, as my wife stated she has to join cocktail hour, even for a couple minutes. Both Chanelle and Rochelle made sure we had our desired drinks, we had time to eat, our glasses were always filled, and even saved dessert for us! Kudos for also remembering that I needed 2 portions of a meal :P My wife and I ended up asking Karen to help out with several signs and a custom seating chart that she happily took on and collaborated with us on, implementing our creative thought process towards it as well. She was very open to feedback and suggestions, and provided her own suggestions when we had questions based on her own experience. During the day-of, Chanelle and Rochelle had everything set up just the way we imagined and discussed, not needing either of us to worry about any of the little things. They took care of everything in a seamless way that made the party super successful. I cannot thank the aficial team enough. Planning a destination wedding from the Bay Area was a bit daunting and required so much work, but Karen, Chanelle, Rochelle, and the aficial team made it possible, which so much encouragement and organization. I would highly recommend aficial events!!!!

From the very beginning, she was thoughtful, organized, and incredibly attentive to every detail. Whenever an obstacle came up, Karen was quick to find a solution, and she made what could have been stressful moments feel completely manageable. She was also incredibly kind and reassuring whenever we felt overwhelmed or lost in the planning process. One of the things we appreciated most were the customized timelines and checklists she created specifically for us. They kept us organized, on track, and confident throughout the entire planning process, and everything ultimately couldn't have gone more smoothly. She had a way of streamlining our choices and guiding us toward decisions that felt right for us without ever making the process overwhelming. Karen was truly an incredible teammate, and it was clear that our other vendors were always excited to work with her. She consistently went above and beyond, and you could see the result on our wedding day--no stone was left unturned. Her expertise, organization, communication, and genuine care made such a difference, and we are so grateful for everything she did to bring our vision to life.

She will make sure you are where you need to be and when. I cannot imagine working with anyone else. The experience wouldn't have been the same without her. Love you Rachel! Nicole was also so amazing and so kind as well. They absolutely killed the wedding. No notes Rachel. The pricing was also exceptional considering the amount of work she did. I have friends that paid 3 times as much and didn't even get half the price of what I gained in knowledge, experience and assistance. I have zero interest in center pieces, decorations, timelines, flowers. I just wanted it to "look pretty" and for people to have a nice time. Thank goodness for Monica, the owner of Confetti and Glitter Events! I originally found Monica on Thumbtack, and liked how prompt she was in responding to my inquiry. She is also very affordable and reasonable in the pricing of her services. I initially hired her as my venue decorator, but then asked her to also be my Day of Coordinator. (these are 2 different things, so don't hire someone asking them to decorate, but then expecting them to handle your entire day and your entire ceremony and reception). She was flexible with her schedule when it came to meeting, and was prompt in her replies to emails and texts. Monica was very good about writing down the things I liked and didn't like, and was great about expanding on those things to find something that worked for me. She made all of my venue signs, set up and decorated the dessert table and guest table, all centerpieces and my sweetheart table. I didn't have to worry about a thing the entire day and night of my wedding, because I new Monica had everything covered. I was able to have a great time and focus on my guests, and she would guide me along if I needed to do something. I would recommend Monica for any party or event that you need planned. My husband and I were both very happy with her services, and will hire her again if we have anything that needs planning. She is very easy to talk to, and a sweet and professional woman. I hired Julia for the "month of" package and it was seriously the best investment. Julia is a total professional and super easy to work with. Julia keeps calm, which kept me calm. She is able to be firm when necessary to make sure everything goes according to plan but she is always respectful in her dealings with her clients and all vendors. I had full faith in her ability and I knew she always had my best interest at heart. I'm in project management for my career so I was curious just how much help I would actually need in the coordination department. But Julia's insight and experience proved to be absolutely invaluable. There were a lot of moving parts for my formal wedding - very specific furniture and lighting plans, multiple music changes from musician to dj etc., and very detailed timelines that were pretty tight - I was demanding a lot from everyone involved that they would be on their A game to make it happen. There is close to no one I would trust to manage all of these moving pieces - except Julia! She was on it all from the first meeting til the end of the after party on the big day, which allowed me to relax and enjoy the evening with my husband, family and friends. I had a very specific vision that would not have come to life with out her!!! Frankly, they should be charging double for their services - they truly go above and beyond and add that much value to the planning process and big day. I didn't know how much I needed a Melanie, but now that the wedding is over I can say with confidence my wedding would have been a hot mess without her and there's NO WAY I could have enjoyed my day had she not been there. My now…read morehusband, John, and I were definitely on a budget and thought, since we have friends that could DJ, cater, and a wedding party of 9 bridesmaids who were so eager to help, how hard could pulling a wedding of 150 guest be. After John and I picked a date and a venue that fit our style and budget, we began the real planning. As any bride would know, I quickly became overwhelmed. Don't get me wrong; I have been planning for years on my Pinterest Board. I knew I wanted something different, something not so traditional, and something that not only we would remember forever, but our guests would have a blast at. So, I pinned and pinned away on my Pinterest Board. I could not stop pinning. I think I may have been trying to avoid actually setting up vendors and planning for decorations, because I honestly did not know where to start. A wedding coordinator was looking more and more appealing to me. For years I followed, K&G events and Grace on social media, admiring the exceptional details and unbelievable set ups, I would call "eye candy". Two of my bridesmaids used K&G Events for their weddings and had nothing but positive things to say about their professionalism and style. John and I live in Las Vegas, but were planning a wedding in my hometown of San Diego. I also work as a night shift RN which I thought might make it difficult to coordinate phone meetings with K&G Events, but they accommodated us so easily. They were always at our reach and were efficient in responding to any random questions and thoughts John and I had throughout our planning. After our first sit down meeting with K& G Events, I already felt a major weight lifted from my shoulders. Grace and Cindy were so amazing. They are genuine people. They never made us feel like our budget was too small. They truly have a passion for what they do, and you could see it in every aspect of their work. It was not hard for John and I to trust them with what would be the Best Day of our Lives. Our wedding ran seamlessly. Not to mention, the night before the wedding, I had a tearful, overwhelming breakdown. I had to call Grace and Cindy to make some last minute changes, and they quickly could sense my anxiety. Grace has such a genuine big heart. She comforted me, eased my mind, reassured me of how amazing and big the next following day would be, and told me that I needed rest overall and that everything was taken care of and there was no need to worry. Grace and Cindy are so personable; they make you feel like they have known you for so much longer, in the way they comfort you and the way you are able to truly trust them Grace and Cindy were incredibly organized. They took care of so many details with vendors and relaying information from the vendors to our venue officials. They gave us options, and really let us find our own connection with the right Officiant who would end up marrying us. Grace and Cindy, made our "Boho Island Chic Wedding" come to life, from the amazing embellishments as centerpieces, to the beautiful dessert table, all the amazing lettering, the giveaway table, the cute framed quotes, and my two most favorite pieces of 'eye candy': our 'Boho Island' Sweetheart table and very Boho teepee and pillows photo-op that was set up outside during cocktail hour. To say the least, K&G made our dreams come true. Our guest were truly amazed, taking pictures of all the details just as much as they were taking pictures of themselves having a great time. It was definitely a wedding our family and friends could never forget. I would absolutely recommend K&G Events to anyone that wants a special day to be an extraordinary, absolutely amazing, Best Day Ever.

Those are such welcome traits for a wedding planner to possess! While watching her and her team setting up the decorations and details, it was obvious that they loved what they did and cared about the quality that was displayed while they did it.
