I am an actor and went into Naimie's to find make up to cover my tattoos before set and was greeted by a very thoughtful and knowledgeable young lady, Veronica. She showed me several brands and tested different products out on my arm. We then walked over to discuss options with a co worker of hers, a gentleman, Arsen Gegdzhyan. He knew what to use right away, as he is a special effects artist that has worked on many projects and has a ton of experience. He brought me over to an air brush station and started mixing colors together to get my EXACT skin tone (which I might add is difficult because I am fair skinned, have areas I'm more tan and a pink undertone). He got it to match perfectly and told me he'd finish spraying my entire sleeve just because?!!! Ummm excuse me, do you know how much artists typically charge for something like this? I went to LA this weekend and wanted to check out naimes because I needed a few things for my makeup kit before heading back home which is 5+ hours away. There was so much to look at! I felt like a kid at a candy store! The store was nice and clean, all of the staff wore masks. I'm writing this review to mention how helpful Emely was! The new store is beautiful , but the customer service is terrible. It wasn't busy at all on a Sunday afternoon but still no one in sight to help get products. The 3 girls that helped me throughout my time there were not knowledgeable of any products. They seemed young and disinterested in doing their job. Great first experience here! This is a cosmetic lovers dream store. The girls working here were really helpful throughout my visit and made great recommendations. I purchased new skincare products from a line of Japanese skincare called Noriko and so excited to keep exploring more products. They carry great professional haircare, skincare & makeup lines including Makeup Forever, Ben Nye, Anastasia, Dose of Color, Peter Thomas Roth, Caudalie, Mario Badescu and so much more. I drove an hour to go to this store since I'm a pro member and I've always had a good experience until today. I was being helped out by Bryan and I kept asking him for stuff and he would say " You again?" when it was my first time asking for a product and he gave it to me with attitude. Next, I asked him for a different product and he said "Ugh I'm going back and forth". I wanted to ask for more products but I didn't want to deal with any attitude so I paid and left. This was my first and last time going to this store. First off this store seemed like prior COVID it would have been amazing, but now it seems like a sad ghost shop. The items that were there are completely out of date!! Another thing I want to point out is their was only two poor employees running around they seem so overwhelmed. I wish I could help them!! Both Naimie's locations are good, but the new Burbank one is particularly great. While smaller overall, it feels better organized and easier to find an associate to help. In particular, I was recently helped by Amber and have to sing her praises. I was devastated after my entire makeup kit was stolen, but had no choice but to replace everything quickly before going back to work the next day. Not only was Amber (and the rest of the team) empathetic and sweet to me, when I found out my insurance company would only cover a small fraction of the amount I lost and started tearing up in the store, she gave me tissues to wipe my eyes. Amber helped make an overwhelming situation much easier to handle. I was able to email a list of products I needed and Amber pulled everything for me before I even arrived, just to get a head start. Then she spent a couple hours walking through the store with me and helping me replenish my kit. I was already going to be spending a lot of money and now had to be extra price-conscious and she went out of her way to help me pick the best bang for my buck and products that would stretch farthest, while still being high quality. She clearly knows her stuff and made a pretty crappy situation, much easier and even a little fun. It was some of the best customer service experiences I've ever received. I don't know if Naimie's sales associates receive bonuses, but if not, they should. At least Amber should. Thank you again! read more

I am so happy with the new location it's closer to my house and finally with a big parking space. I was there on Sunday with a friend and as soon as we walked in Aida greeted us with a warm hello and helped us through out the store. We loved the new store so bright and beautiful very well organized and the employees were so sweet and knowledgeable with the different brands.
