This place is just average in my opinion. I came 2 times. The first time I did my nails I really liked it. The next time I came back I wanted to change up my color and wen simple. I wanted matte nails and it wasn't even matte. They charged me about $45 for a fill which is crazy cuz it was more expensive than when I had my 3D design. Compared to other places, the "matte" nails weren't even matte. And the diamond was out of place, for me it was too noticeably uneven. They were rushing or anything. In the picture the pinky matte was by another place compared to the other two fingers. My nail had ripped off and they glued it back but a week later, my pinky nail completely ripped off this time so I decided to get it fixed today. Went to another place and not gonna lie, kinda mad I paid for "matte" coating when it wasn't even completely matte. That's huge for me especially because I've been here so many times before... the lady who did my nails wouldn't let me express my concerns to her. I tried to explain something and she smacked and shoved my hand under the light. Anytime i had some kind of concern she just said 'yeah yeah' to shut me up, and i was trying to voice reasonable concern. Now i have a messy manicure and polish all over my hands. The girl who did my toes was okay, but what rubbed me the wrong was was that she asked for a tip and was so persistent. I had already given her a tip, but because of how upset i was about the woman doing my manicure i didn't feel like it was appropriate to tip her. When i was trying to leave she kept telling me to tip the lady and making a big scene about it when i was clearly uncomfortable. I will not be returning. I'm going to start off with saying, don't even waste your time here like I did. Go to black files instead as a direct recommendation. I've had too many horrible experiences here even after giving this shop two second chances. I've officially declared this place a one star and not a even worth it. Long story short , within one week of getting my nails done, I've had to pay the price of two full sets. Not is it only a waste of money, it was a waste of my time to come here. Here are the details: I came in last Tuesday to get acrylics done with my girlfriend & one thing I always get annoyed about this location is upsale and hidden prices they charge in the end. You really have to make it clear what the total would be before adding any other service. That was the downside from my first visit. My last Tuesday visit was a little better since I was prepared this time around. Except within two days of getting my nails done, the nail was glued so unproperly that two of my nails just fell off complexly at the tip leaving my nails looking ghetto until I could find the time to go in and fix it. I believe it was Yvonne who did my nail initially. I also have to add, even though they were acryllic and they are not real, at least try to make it look natural... They were so thick and blotchy. She laughs a lot hough, In a sense she was trying to be "friendly". So she had a nice personality but I really felt I wasted my time getting my nails done here. I finally came in to the store next Thursday the week after to get my ghetto nails fixed. I have contacted Wendy prior to my visit explaining my situation & she sounded kind enough to have Jenny "take care" of me. I came in for jenny to fix my nails that were chipping off but I felt the rest of the sets were growing out and looks unnatural . So Wendy said she would just charge me to fill it would should have honestly been free because my nails didn't even last a week and I took my time to come in to waste trying to get it looking decent. Although their service was extremely kind, I guess they still had to make their money somehow. So Jenny felt the need to basically charge me for gel conve & filled set which still somehow came up to me almost the original price of when I first paid with maybe $5 off. I did ask how much I should pay, assuming it should be nothing since they are fixing their mistakes, but I guess it's my fault they did a shitty job, waste my time to come in, and still grub $$ from me. I'm sorry ladies, definitely going to tell all the customers they should go somewhere else like black files (new trending nails business) if you actually took care of your customers , And not money grub/ do a good job the first one and not waste two days of m life, I'd definitely recommend it here. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Yeah as I am leaving this place, I am fired up. Almost 2 hours to get a regular gel manicure. NO acrylics. You gotta be kidding me.. I had already cut most of my acrylics off and they charged me for the littlest nail they had to cut off or use acetone to get off. The lady helping me was older and was incapable of doing nails!! No one has 2 hours for a simple gel manicure! I'm absolutely furious. A girl came in after me and got acrylics done and left before me. Half way through my manicure, the lady doing my nails had to reach for her glasses. It was taking her 20 seconds PER NAIL. Not to mention, I chose 3 colors as one by one she told me there's no more in the bottle, pick another. GOD I wasted two hours of my Sunday and I'm out $30 because I was still nice enough to give tip since she was old. I cannot believe wendy saw me sit there for 2 hours and did not say anything or even offer a discount. It was the worst nail experience I have ever had in my entire life. I hate my nails. My friend gets her eyelash extensions done and raved about them. I was very curious since I had never had that particular service done and I have to say that they do an amazing job and their prices are great! While it is not a high-end spa, you could tell that Wendy put in a lot of effort to make it cute and comfortable. My girlfriend and I both got our lashes done this past Sunday and we are both VERY happy. They look natural and very pretty. I was very nervous about getting lash extensions since I've seen some that looked very fake and unnatural. I did not want this look. I wanted long, full lashes that looked like they were my own and that's exactly what I got. They seemed pretty long to me but my coworkers didn't even realize my lashes were enhanced, they thought they were natural! I no longer have to put on mascara or curl my lashes in the morning which saves me about 30-45 minutes per week! Totally worth $25 in my book. Several of my coworkers are going back with me when I get a fill so that they can get their lashes done too. I will definitely return. read more

For the record...I loved coming to this place to have Wendy to do my eyebrows. But today changed my mind and loyalty to this place and to Wendy. I walked in and they were semi-busy. I see that Wendy was busy with a customer (she usually is). I was screamed at by an employee asking what I wanted (which is normal). I told her I wanted my eyebrows wax but with Wendy. I know she heard me because she repeated Wendy's name and even Wendy looked up. Since she was busy I went to sit down and wait. About 1-2 minutes later, I get called to go to the wax room. And guess what, that lady was not Wendy. I spoke up and told her I want Wendy if possible. It got me upset that they should have at least tell me if i dont mind having someone else. I felt like they wanted to sneak in and i wouldn't have said anything. After that, I felt that the entire staff and including Wendy were annoyed. Really? For requesting someone? I would think it's a compliment. I went back to sit and wait. Another 2 minutes and Wendy tells me she's ready. I felt awkward and got the impression that Wendy was annoyed that I requested her. I know she's busy but it wasn't like I didn't mind waiting for her. She usually does a great job on my eyebrows but this visit I was disappointed. She slap the wax on, usually she's good at spreading the wax out around my eyebrows, this time she didn't. I have gotten by eyebrows waxed so many times with her, but time I felt so uncomfortable and I could feel her being annoyed. She didnt even say hi. She rushed thru the wax and left the room. No one was even approaching me to pay for the service. I could have just walked out! I was shocked that she would seem annoyed (maybe she was just having a bad day..idk). I didn't have an appt. So she could have told me she was busy and see if I wanted someone else, rather than trying to have someone do it without my consent. I'm sorry but after this visit, I will not be coming back. I had to ask the lady who was going to do my eyebrows if I can pay. Wow....I had to ask. I would have been ok if my eyebrows were done right but this time, they weren't. I decided to give this place a 2nd try. I went In for my refill for my previous set. This time Wendy actually did my nails. I was a lil iffy about returning to this place due to the prior service. I decided I wanted to do gel this time and also get some rhinestones. I ended up paying 10 for my refill + 10 for gel (despite their signs all over saying 5 dollars for gel) + 12 for the rhinestones. I honestly left happy with the job that Wendy had done. 2 days later the single rhinestones started falling off. I went in on a Saturday and by Thursday all the single ones had fallen off except my thumb ones. I told wendy what had happen and she told me to go in and she will fix it. I work at a desk job so its not like they could of fallen of due to something from my job. Well I went in and I got them re-done. When I was their she told me she had under charged me. I was like wth. I honestly done remember how much I paid since I paid in cash. Then she told me "well it was my fault so its okay" honestly if she had told me that after I would of returned for my next refill I would of not mind paying her what she "didn't charge me." But what bothered me is that after returning for the 2nd time she had to come out with something like that. It was really inconvenient for me to return after the work she did for a 2nd time. Well the next Saturday, one of the gems on my thumbs fell and the gel started peeling off? Really??? I've been getting gel on my acrylics for sooooo long and this had never happen. All of a sudden this happens their? And this was the gel that she re-applied after re-doing the rhinestones. I am really upset to be honest. I should of stayed with my girl that does my design and gel (ig name @handjobsbyallison) To be honest I will never be returning here. I dont want to keep returning here over and over to get a job re-done that should of been great the first time. She has offered me to re-do the gel on my thumb and I declined the offer. I am not leaving my job early to get a bad job re-done. For what so I cam go back AGAIN for the third time in a couple days apart to fix her bad job. It was inconvenient to come back and get the fixed the 2nd time. No thanks. && to show you how "mature" Wendy is. She went ahead and blocked me from her ig. && sending messages on how mean I am. As far as I know, this is yelp and we are here to review services that we get one. I was thinking of returning to this place despite the bad job done with the design but after receiving unpleasant messages from Wendy saying that she doesn't want to put me on "blast." Within the last to days she has sent me 5 messages. I feel harassed by her already. My Eyelash Service was a horrible experience. Decided to try this place since my eyelash tech moved to Vegas. The girl put my lashes on while I was sitting in the spa chair getting my pedicure. She didn't even tape or cover my eyes. Extensions were put on while my eyes were open & she held my eyelid up. Worse experience ever... Too much glue was used I can barely close my eyes without it scratching my eyes. This is not how eyelash extensions are properly put on... I came in here with friend Because of the yelp reviews.. I was a little resistant at first because of how cheap it was, but my friend talked me into it. Anyways, I got seated right away for a mani/pedi. The tub for my pedi was filled and I put my feet in but as soon as I put my feet in I noticed OIL separating from the water! I was so fucking disgusted!! Next while I was getting my nails done I noticed she would use a CLIPPING tool on my nails then put it BACK into the the CLEAN box!! This place should be evaluated for real. I decided to get mani/ pedi special for 20$. And I saw the *special pedicure which is $18 , U get a regular pedi, plus sugar scrub, plus free French tip or design. If you upgrade while getting the 20$ deal it's only $5 extra. So I upgraded but asked if I upgrade can I receive the Callus scrub instead of the sugar scrub. They nodded and bobbled their heads yes. So I got French on my finger nails also for $3 extra. When it came to painting the French tip. The lady doing my pedi did NOT know how to draw straight lines. She kept getting very upset Id ask to re do it but fuck I don't want to walk around with cricked nails for two weeks( I thought it would last that long at least) the lady doing my mani did much better though. Anyways when it came to paying... For some funny reason NO ONE IN THE SALON could speak English or understand me, the only thing they kept saying is "I not understand, we did for you, you not want to pay us) hahahah! I was shocked BECUASE I actually had a lot of cash on hand and wanted to tip them big CUZ I was paying much less than I had expected too! But this is what happened... So when they FINALLY finished after an 1 1/2. They couldn't understand their own menu. I got their 20$ mani/pedi deal(so my French on the toes is suppose to be covered) they tried to charge me for it separate, I tried so hard to explain to them what their menu says, other customers had to help me! Then even though I specifically asked to get the callus removed instead of the sugar scrub.... She slapped on some scrub and washed it off then started crying that she gave me a sugar scrub. IT ALMOST SEEMED LIKE THEY DID IT ALL ON PURPOSE. Anyways, after that they ended up charging me $23 for my pedi and $10 for my nails. I was so annoyed that they didn't keep their word and kept trying to charge me more and kept pretending they don't understand English that I just told her "look lady, type in the amount U want me to pay and I'll pay it so I can leave." CUZ It wasn't the price, it was the principle I was gonna tip them what they charged me over anyways!! Oh AAND THE BEST PART, it's the 3rd day, my nails are all chipped up even the clear coat is peeling off from were my cuticle is. I feel so mad at myself for going to this cheap ass place I knew I better! I should have just went and spent $20 bucks more for nails that will actually last but the yelp reviews tricked my friend into talking me into conning here lol On a side note, my friend got acrylics and they looked really good, if they last, that's the only thing I'll come back there for but most likely NOT! read more

Oh Wendi. Where have you been all my life?! I've been nail salon hopping for 6 months now. So frustrating! Just when I was about to give up on acrylic nails after my horrible experience at a different salon, I decided to give one last attempt at Nails Plus. Called when they opened, and was surprised that Wendi was able to accommodate me for a full set of acrylic nails the following hour. Yay! I just figured with all her followers, she probably books up fast. I was drawn to all the pics she posts of her work so I didn't mind making the 40 minute drive to Santa Ana. I arrived at 11:15 and was seated right away. Then I showed Wendi picture of the shape I wanted (long and almond) and she got started. I was so impressed with how meticulous she is with her work because I am extremely picky! She literally inspects each nail at every angle to make sure the shape is perfect.
