I was on a family vacation and visiting the area. I didn't have a chance to get my nails done before I left, so I figured it would be nice to get them done on vacation with my mom. Overall, it was an okay experience but I would not return. The Pros - they were able to accommodate my mother and I for a pedicure and manicure right away as walk ins. They worked to get the desired look for my manicure by adding a base coat. (This was not discussed with me though, it was just done). The prices seemed to be on average for what I normally pay. The Cons - they were a little rough on trimming my mother's cuticles on her toes. She was visibly wincing and they didn't seem to notice or ask if she was okay. The quality of my gel manicure is sub par. It was touching my cuticles so as my nails grew, the color was raised up and started peeling after just a week. My manicure is a week old and looks like it's 3 weeks old. (Photos attached). As other reviews have mentioned, the massage for both the pedicure and the manicure was lacking. The photos of the inside are outdated. It felt a tad cluttered inside. At least one manicure station was being used as a "catch all" place or just hadn't been tidied since it was used last. read more

My husband and I were in the area and decided to take in a Pedi. Nails Glamour is in a convenient location on Panama City Beach Parkway (middle beach). We checked their ratings and walked in with no wait on a Saturday at 1:00PM. Nails Glamour has really comfortable massage chairs. Upon arriving here, I explained what happened the day before and was met with kindness and patience and someone willing to understand what I actually wanted. Definitely the worst nail experience I've ever had. I picked this place because there were great reviews especially compared to the places around it. Unfortunately I didn't have that experience. I asked for a dip manicure (I made an appointment online), and the man doing my nails immediately starts telling me about gel X (should've been a sign). I told him that I wanted dip as I had originally asked for dip. An hour later and my nails look clumpy and awful, piling up the dip. He would dip them multiple times and then drill it all the way down burning up my fingers in the process, and then starting from the top. He drilled so hard the dip was coming off in chunks and half my nail had dip and half didn't. Finally after an hour of this I suggested we try something different. He eagerly agreed. I'm not confrontational, but it was awful and I had to say something. I just wish he would've said from the beginning that he didn't know how to do dip and preferred to do gel X. We had to completely soak and drill off the nails which took forever and left me with the dip reside sticky all over my fingers and hands from it being sloppy. Then a new nail tech switched with him and did the gel X on my nails. Which now looks great but it was an awful experience. I ended up spending 2.5 hours at this place. Would not recommend doing dip here, or at least make sure the person knows what they're doing. read more

Amazing experience with Frank! I got a pedicure and a dip powered overlay. The shop was busy when I got there but they were able to get me into a pedicure chair right away. Pretty standard pedicure experience. The real standout experience was with the dip power. Frank took his time and extra care to make sure my nails were done to my liking, perfectly shaped and evenly coated. The pricing is fair and what I'm used to paying. I will definitely be back any time I'm in PCB! They do not use a UV light to set your nails at the end. They apply a top coat designed for dip powder and it takes two minutes to set. I've never had a dip done this way before but the woman next to me said it's the only way she gets a dip power set and both her and Frank assured me this was the "correct" way and that it wore better over time (no edges pulling up as it grows out). I'll see how it goes but so far I'm very happy with the results. I think it's important to mention that because the shop was so busy, Frank bounced back and forth between myself and the woman next to me so it did take a bit longer than usual. However, I watched him professionally manage multiple customers at a time, thanking us for our patience and asking permission before he stepped away to ring someone up or answer the phone. I also watched him professionally handle a young and very rude customer who seemed dissatisfied with the services received. I cannot speak for the quality of the other techs' work but no one seemed to be rushing through their clients and I could not visibly see any problems with the girl's nails. She trash talked the work done in front of the tech who did her nails while she waited for her friend to finish her pedicure. I was impressed with how Frank and the other techs maintained composure and professionalism and I feel it is worth noting. read more

Nails were..... ok. They look good just the fact that we did not all get what we want even with a reference photo that was not a difficult design, all solid color with glitter all over one nail. This was just the 2 red sets. My sisters were just fully silver glitter, look so bad they are matte when they are supposed to be glittery They were very aggressive when fileing and doing our cuticles. Not worth $30. If you're looking for a relaxing pedicure this is not the place. I walked to a small open room that was probably heated up to 80 degrees. The decor is rough at not like a nice salon and the worker's loud child playing video games was definitely a turn off! My manicure/shellac has been on for a week with Florida swimming and beach/sand castle building- and it still looks amazing. I went there based on reviews. I got a pedicure, not the express. The older woman did a horrible job. After I had my nails completed, I'll get back to that, I noticed that the polish was over the edge of my cuticles on several of my toes. I explained to the woman who did my nails. The older woman didn't understand, had to explain it again and then a young girl who was helping out told me that she would polish my toes. Back to my nails. Got a dip. I have my own natural nails, except for one. It is way too thick, the edges of my nails are showing on some fingers and now I'm no longer in town to go and get them fixed, which o don't think I'd even want them to fix them. As im waiting a couple and another woman come (NO APPOINTMENT ) in they IMMEDIATELY take the couple to get their pedicures and the other woman to get her old nails removed . Once the woman of the couple has gotten her pedicure done she IMMEDIATELY gets moved to go get her nails done . So I went in April because of all the great Yelp reviews (just realizes that I had never submitted my review). I must have gotten a brand new employee, or gone on an off day. This started off as quite possibly the worst pedicure I have EVER had, and ended up being barely okay. I got the pedicure for $25 which is supposed to include nails trimmed, cuticle groomed, exfoliation, cool gel, callous remover, and polish. The lady doing my nails was clearly not concerned about doing a quality job. My nails were not even shaped evenly, let alone polished well. The worst thing were my heels. I went specifically because my heels were so rough. She spent literally less than 30 seconds scrubbing each of my heels...I guess that's the supposed "callous remover". I said something to her about how rough my heels still were - and rather than offering to slough off some more of the dead skin, she showed me a tube of foot cream. Uh...how does that help the dead skin literally flaking off? Usually when I get a pedicure my feet feel 100x better than when I went in, but they felt no different when she was done. Heels still super rough. Finally, the lone man in there noticed that I clearly looked irritated and asked what was wrong. I showed him my heels and he used some callous remover to make my heels better. I didn't bother asking him to fix the uneven shape or polish, as I didn't want to spend another 30 minutes in there. Him making the effort to fix some of what I was unhappy about is the only reason this is 2 stars rather than 1. Needless to say, I'd never go back. read more

After reading other reviews, I chose to go here for the basic pedicure ($25) and a gel manicure ($30). It wasn't the best gel manicure I've ever had- but it wasn't bad at all.
