The girls were so friendly and helpful when we were picking out our colors. They both did a great job doing our nails. Another girl did a great job removing the shellac from our finger nails. What a process! (it was our first experience with shellac nail polish) The place was clean and didn't smell of fumes. Happy my sister found this place.

When I did get home and started using my hands it continued to clump with the least bit of pressure. The salon was noisy with staff speaking loudly and incessantly . The experience was not the least bit relaxing. I will not go back and would advise you to do the same.

The prices are average for the services provided, I typically pay about 60 with tip for a full bio gel set, sometimes I spring for a fancy design and only get charged a bit more. I almost never make appointments (not saying people should do this), but they always take me regardless. The people are sweet and treat you like a long time friend. The BEST thing about this salon though, is the insanely large selection of colours and unique polishes. Every time I see someone with a unique colour, they always say it's from here. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere new to try!

Comfy chairs with space between them. The technician was friendly efficient and thorough. Bonus points for the massage, hot towel part as that is rare at that price point. Coco Nail Spa in Parkwood Mall, Scarborough is a far cry from the previous Salon "Julia's Nails"…read morethere. I went there a few times. The first time it was right after they opened. All of my nails turned white after the polish chipped off. They told me it was due to expired nail polish. Can you imagine - new salon/expired nail polish?? The last time I was there, I noticed that the staff tried to skip an important part of pedicure and did a very lazy scrub! Furthermore, I just noticed on their receipt that they apply sales tax to your tips too, which is totally ILLEGAL!!! I will call & let them know. It better be corrected or my next call will be to CRA. The most disturbing fact was she used the same set of instruments on my hand nails, as she used during my pedicure. I also observed that at the end she scrubbed them under running water for about 5 seconds & put them back in her container. The instruments were not taken for sterilization and will be likely used on the next customer. Seeing all this killed all of my trust in them! I would advise anyone NOT to go there if you don't want to end up with some kind of nail decease!!

The staff are friendly and they seem to be pretty good at making sure they do a good job (not rushed) and they give a pretty good foot massage - not half assed like some other places. The selection of polishes is great - a lot of variety with brands, in case you are particular to one. They have all the staples - OPI, CND, etc. It's a small place, so don't expect that serene spa like experience. It's relatively clean and cheap (I think my pedicure was $28, not including tip). It's been like 3 wks and it's held up remarkably well! There is some parking in front - it's located in the strip plaza in Scarborough. There is currently construction around this area so be careful to look out for the entrance into the plaza as it may be blocked off (I think you can go around to the side entrance of the plaza if that is the case)

I did not make an appointment and they accommodated me for a regular manicure right away. I pick at my cuticles and fingers because of an anxiety disorder and I sort of just decided to try to take care of my nails in an attempt to stop. I let Karen know this and she was so, so nice about it. She made sure I was comfortable when trimming my cuticles and checked in with me a few times to make sure that she wasn't hurting my hands. She helped me pick a color, and I'd say it was the most lovely manicure I've ever had! Karen was kind and compassionate, please go here if you are a Toronto resident.

They provided me with the colours that they had available and they quickly got to work. The removal was painless and easy.. I have had a bad experience where they filed my nails way tooo much and my nails looked a mess. That wasn't the case here thankfully! She did a great job fixing the shape of nails and reapplying the nail polish. Overall a positive experience. They gave you a tiny hand massage at the end.. a couple places I have been to are a little better in that department but whatever I wasn't coming in for a massage anyway. So now my figures look fab and the total came to 35 plus tax. 5 was for the removal of my previous shellac and then 30 for the shellac manicure. The pricing is pretty on par with other salons in the area. Ps.. it's been 2 weeks and my Shellac is in pretty mint condition.. typically it lasts a week and then I'm regretting having invested $ in my nails... but I have been impressed! Def. Coming back :)
