They did an amazing job, but after pushing back my cuticles and filing them, my cuticles were still there so I asked them to cut them off. This extra step counted as a manicure so it was an extra $12 charge? Which, okay fine.. but it just added to the cost of everything. For a gel refill (+2 nail fixes since they popped off from my first appt), plus design, plus covid PPE costs, & tip, it came up to almost $150! I don't understand how people can keep getting their nails done with these prices. I was okay paying for it since I needed PERFECT nails for my wedding - and I am BEYOND happy with the outcome, but the price is keeping me from going back unless for a special occasion. (The first time I went for a full set of gel nails & 1 colour with sparkle on top came up to $90 with tip).. so almost double the price if I went to a basic nail salon. You do get what you pay for, but again, not sure how people can keep up with these prices. I would still definitely recommend going to Allure Nail Bar. All the staff are friendly, clean up after each client, and know how to execute your nail look 100%.

The young ladies working at this nail salon are nice, friendly, and talented at nail art. I have gone here two times in the past three months for my bridal shower and wedding. I have been happy with my past two visits. I'm on my third week of having gel polish and it hasn't even chipped! Some things to note - make sure to cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. In April there was a ice storm and I asked to reschedule due to the poor road conditions. However, they said there would be a charge the next time I came back. I ended up going because I didn't want to be charged. I know it's a business but there should be some leniency when the weather is really bad. If you get a manicure they don't charge for polish removal. If you write a review you'll get 15% off (I think...or it's 10% off). Looking forward to my next visit this week!

I found the spa to be clean and I liked that they line the foot bin with a new plastic liner for each customer. The person doing the pedicure did a thorough job of working on the cuticles and making sure I would not have ingrown nails. The colour selection was good, and I appreciated that they stayed late to finish my pedicure, even though I had been a walk in. I also found the prices to be very good. I do recommend this nail spa.

Very Disappointing Experience…read more I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Bio Nails. Unfortunately, several aspects of my visit raised concerns regarding the quality of service and overall professionalism. The male technician who provided my service appeared to be using buffers that were not clean, which was concerning from a hygiene and sanitation perspective. I was also charged more than I expected for the service, and the pricing was not clearly explained to me beforehand. During my appointment, the staff were speaking about me in their native language. While I understand that staff may speak whatever language they are comfortable with, the manner and circumstances made me feel uncomfortable and gave me the impression that I was being discussed while I was sitting there. I also found the salon itself to be poorly maintained and the staff to be generally unfriendly and unwelcoming. I believe customers should receive clean and professional services, transparent pricing, and courteous treatment. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I would encourage management to address these concerns, particularly those relating to sanitation, communication with customers, pricing transparency, and staff professionalism. Based on my experience, I would not return to this salon or recommend it to others.

She truly cares about her clients and her work and it shows. Last time I went to see her I had broken a nail into the nail bed and was freaking out. She repaired them with no pain or injury (which normally happens to me at other places as I have very thin skin) so now my nails are pretty and protected! They're my new faves - the pink catseye nails with pink glitter polka dots. You would never know I had destroyed one of my natural nails under these! LOL thank you Lina xo

My rating is 3.5 stars…read more Last summer, I was shopping at Erin Mills Shopping Centre and came across a gel manicure special. It was a back-to-school sale. I decided to stop in and get my nails done. I checked in and waited by sitting on a sofa. Folks there were accommodating, asking whether I needed a drink. I was good. There was only one nail specialist working that day. She was busy doing a Brazilian wax on another customer. Luckily, I wasn't in a rush. It was nice to sit there and relax, with fairly decent updates from staff. Eventually, I got my nails done. The nails bar is at the back of the store. I had a wonderful woman who talked about her boyfriend, previous marriage, and more. My nails looked great. I was pleased with how they looked and the polish. (87)
