I have been going here for just over a year now. Diana and Vi are the best! Very bubbly and they do a great job. I get the dip powder and yes, it costs more than shellac, but it's worth it. I recommend booking with either of those two ladies if you want a really good job done and very friendly service. I also recommend making an appointment. read more

Do not ever go to Nails for You in Stone Road Mall. I had the worst customer service. It took 5 minutes for someone to come and asked me what I wanted. Then, Jennifer came in and asked me again what I wanted and I said a pedicure. She told me that it would be just a moment. Thinking she was preparing her station; instead she grabbed her cell phone and went to the back of the store (wasn't break time since the store just opened). I sat and waited 15 minutes. A mother and daughter came in (no appt) and Jennifer asked them what they wanted. They each wanted a pedicure. Jennifer then went and prepared 2 stations and took both of them immediately ahead of me. I couldn't believe it. I got up and left. I did come back a few minutes later and asked for the nailist name and I have filed a complaint with their head office. I will never go there again. read more

I went to this salon with my friends before my vacation. I have never been treated more aggressively or poorly when getting my nails done. The lady (Pam I believe) made my toe nail bleed and did not say anything. She did not ask me what shape I wanted and just started snipping away. Whenever I asked for an alteration she would not listen and simply ignore me. The toenails were done great compared to how my shellac manicure turned out. She not only did not listen to the shape that I wanted but snipped my nails to the brim. The paint job was the worst I've ever received in my life. Patchy, uneven and crooked. My friend was also cut so bad she bled for 10 min. After this I asked to speak to the manager and he would not cooperate. He did not want to help me or solve this issue at all he said too bad pretty much. He offered to fix the one nail he considered poorly done but since I did not have another 2 hours to kill at this poorly run salon I refused. He would not remove the cost of the shellac manicure from the total and offered me a measly 6 dollars off. For the prices in this salon I was expecting a quality manicure. What I recieved was far from it. If I could rate this place less than 1 star I would. The quality, service and staff were atrocious. DO NOT GO HERE WASTE OF MONEY. read more

I went in for dipping gel tonight and it was such a horrible experience. The lady burned me multiple times while trying to file off my previous dipping gel. She was very aggressive. Terrible! I assume it's the owner, older gentleman that works there. I booked an appointment for 4:30 yesterday after work. Showed up and had to wait a bit.. no biggie. He's trimming my cuticles down and then cuts me deep with the cuticle trimmer. I'm in pain but let him continue as he ignored the blood coming out. I wash my hands and it's still bleeding. I contemplate just leaving since I am already disappointed and obviously he isn't qualified for this or he would have not cut me in the first place. Since this is the Second time he has done my nails I figured I would give him a chance. He avoided the bleeding area entirely and put polish away from it. I was looking forward to the hand massage they usually give customers with the nice smelling lotion but instead he's done with me. I could have gone anywhere else and they wouldn't cut me like that. I am from out of town and wanted someplace convenient and where I could probably get in without an appointment. Read up on different places on line and while the review for this place gave me pause, I figured it was still the most convenient and felt they would not have any business if they were that atrocious. I had a lovely lady do my mani/pedi. As a retired health care professional, I know what to watch for and was satisfied that they met my standards for cleanliness and procedures. My feet and hands feel and look terrific.Did not see one single person have any issues with whatever they were having done either in procedure or results. Will definitely make a return visit the next time we come to Guelph. read more

WOW I cannot BELIEVE the rudeness of the woman working at the salon today!! Not only was she grumpy and unprofessional (badmouthing her coworker who happens to be pregnant & off today), but couldn't care LESS to accommodate for an appointment BOOKED for today. If the person you booked your appt with is unavailable, one would expect a replacement or complimentary service next time or an apology at the very least. Forget any of that. You can't even find out who's in charge of this place because she simply dismisses you saying her boss isn't around, she's busy and walks away. WHO DOES THAT?!? You ask if anyone else is available ... and repeat yourself 3 times (either a hearing issue or a language barrier issue, not sure), only to be brushed off under the breath. Was terrible. I asked for white polish as i had a vision in mind, they absolutely refused and would not let me do it even though they had white polish. I picked two colours and both were completely different from the sample, didn't cut any hang nails, actually had to ask them to repaint 2 nails because a full side was missed on each, and they were all filed horribly so that they were actually jagged. It was totally rushed, my toe nails didn't even look done. Waste of time and money. read more

Absolutely terrible. My nails have never looked worse and I think my toenail is now ingrown. You may as well not get a manicure, it would look better than getting your nails done here. The manicurist was also yelling at me the whole time because I wouldn't let her use scissors around my skin. I don't think scissors should go near nails unless it is to cut them. I put Polysporin all over my hands afterwards because they were in so much pain that I thought they were infected. Definitely would not recommend it read more

very angry. people were rude, employees didn't know how to do their job, was very rough on my hands and expensive for terrible quality.Shape was whack, they were all uneven in some parts. thinner than the others, so some nails are cracking! they also charge 10$ for shaping??? got square? $35 for uv, ended up paying $57 some how?? when i usually only have to pay $45 (including shellac yes i know it's an extra charge) at my usual place and they do a terrific job! my friend got a pedicure the same day also paid near $55?!!! like what? on top of that now she has an infection so you tell me if you wanna go there. my dog could do a better job lol read more

Just terrible with no attention to detail and questionable hygiene practices. Unless you watch their every move you will end up with crooked nails that aren't even fully covered in polish. As professionals, I expect them to notice these things and not have to point out mistakes on every single nail - it's frustrating and embarrassing for everyone. I also question the quality of their materials as my gel nails chipped within 2 days and I had to have them redone...which they were friendly about it, but I still left with chipped nails and was too embarrassed at that point to have them fix them for a third time. I question their hygiene because for one, I had a nail fungus from another salon which they knew about, but made no accommodations to use a separate product for...just dipped right in after touching my gross nail. I've also watched them pass a cuticle clipper from one technician to another to use on a client without sanitizing. All in all, they are nice, but the prices aren't good enough to put up with their poor standards or to risk an infection. read more
