She took the time to talk about what I wanted for my hair and explained how she would make that happen. I got color and highlights, as well as a trim. I love love love the color. It's multi-dimensional and I've gotten tons of compliments. As for the haircut, I was just getting trimmed up, and she did exactly what I asked. For the amount of time spent (three hours) and the products used (I have a lot of hair), the price of $125 was very fair. I'm sure you can go to a chain salon and get cut and color for cheaper, but they are probably not going to take the time that Stephanie did on my hair. I scheduled a last-minute massage after dealing with a severe knot in my neck that was causing headaches. I was genuinely looking forward to this appointment more than any massage I've ever booked. I even excitedly arrived 15 minutes early and proceeded to show the front desk my confirmation text to check in. Unfortunately, they could not locate my appointment in their system and had no idea why. I was told there must have been a double booking because another client had also scheduled the same time slot. I received a brief apology and was simply sent on my way. To drive there, show a confirmed appointment, and still be turned away with no solution or compensation was extremely disappointing. The error was theirs, yet nothing was offered -- not a discount, not a reschedule priority, not even a small gesture like a gift card. I feel like good customer service isn't about being perfect -- it's about how a business handles a mistake. In this case, they did nothing, and that's why I won't be returning.
