Linda and Hannah are the best! They care about all of the clients and do beautiful jobs for my hands and feet!

Depends on who you go to. Some staff are absolutely amazing like Richard and Linda. I definitely recommend NOT going to Daniel(possibly David?) Here are photos of my nails today. He's a little rude and not friendly at all but that part wouldn't bother me if his work was good. read more

A female employee gave off an extremely rude and hostile attitude while my wife was scheduling an appointment. Upon arrival, she was expected to wait for 30 minutes after her appointment was scheduled; due to the staff being busy having side conversations. The woman doing my wife's nails was horribly unprofessional. She left the salon with ripped up cuticles and an uncompleted paint job. Atmosphere was unclean and smelled like heavy incense, which only gave me a headache. read more

Linda is absolutely amazing!!! The whole staff is friendly. The new updates to the salon look beautiful! Love it!

Male staff member insulted my appearance. Horrible customer service, unprofessional, and bad sanitary practices. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

I called and made an appointment and I still had to wait over 20 minutes. Then someone walked in 15 minutes after I got there and sat right down. Also there is a 5% up charge for using a credit card. While they were working on my nails, I questioned the cleanliness of the tools and if they were sanitized. It was not very nice inside. That being said, my nails look great and they were very quick. read more

I requested a soak off & unfortunately I got stuck with the old man that works there. He never said one word to me during the entire process & he was rude! when it was time to pay instead of saying THAT WILL BE 10$ he held up ten fingers!!!! horrible experience each time I go there and he services me. by the way the only thing I will allow him to do is a removal- he's not worth much more. He needs to be home all day watching tv instead of being a dark cloud in that business! The vibe was HORRIBLE! no quality customer service from anyone today! Fox read more

First time here, and I had a great experience. I walked in (for a pedi & gel manicure) and although they were quite busy, I got in right away. Staff was friendly & attentive. The gal who did my pedi even gave me an opportunity to change my polish after she began, (which I gratefully took her up on, because the color I chose looked pretty awful on my toes). Manicure was nice, she put on 3+ coats, and they turned out beautiful. Overall, a good experience...Quick, yet efficient, and very reasonably priced. I will be back. read more

If I could give 0 stars after today's experience, I would... there aren't many salons around here that I like, but Nails Care is officially my least favorite. Went in to get my acrylics removed professionally so that I didn't have to rip them off at home and then I could get some gel to replace. The man at chair 5, took a tip that you'd put over your nail and RIPPED them off. As if that wasn't bad enough on one of the last ones he completely ripped my nail bed causing me to bleed and damage my nail. I have never walked out of a salon, but today I did. STAY AWAY!!!! read more

$35 for a pedicure & manicure. I've had both good and mediocre. Today I was taken care of by Anna and while she rushed, it was worth the price (cheap!). Massage chairs are nice and they have a vast assortment of polish choices. Always busy so if you walk in be prepared to wait unless it's the middle of the week day. They charge $1 for credit card transactions and prefer cash. I've been all over town and they are my #2 choice outside of a hair salon or spa. read more

I absolutely love Nails Care! They are always so nice, accommodating, and do an excellent job! They squeezed me in two weeks ago because I had just gotten engaged and had to have my nails done! And today I got a shellac manicure and it was wonderful! My nails look amazing, and it was so relaxing! The staff has ALWAYS been sweet, and friendly. I came here for years when I was in high school, and now almost 10 years later they still are doing a great job! I'm will continue to come to Nails Care for many years to come! read more

nails broke within a week was not able to get fixed .. tried to charge more i wouldnt recommend

Had my nails done 3 times at this place. First time was an acrylic fill. Acrylic was laid really nice but the shaping wasn't even. I decided to still tip and went home and reshaped them. Went back a 2nd time same person, he was so rough with my nails they were throbbing afterwards, he drilled a little too deep under my finger nails in an attempt to make them look cleaner, his drilling burned me a few times, his filing was extremely rough and uncomfortable. So I let him finish, still gave him a tip and decided not to make an appt with him anymore. 3rd time I called for an appt, I told them specifically I didn't want so and so because he was too rough on my nails and I had to reiterate that he was TOO ROUGH So they would give me someone else which they did. He did a good job and didn't leave my nails feeling sore afterwards. My gel wasn't dried properly, there r a few bubbles and my thumb nail, a layer of gel peeled off. 4th time I tried to call to make an appt, told them I didn't want so and so. They said he would be the only person available. So I decided to go elsewhere. Pedicures are pretty good, no problem with and gel polish that has been done on my toes. Not sure if they ever told "so and so" (I had his name wrong so Idk his name, they mentioned he was the old man in the back) - about his work. I hope they did. It's a solid complaint - that's why I'm leaving it here on yelp. read more

Linda is just too rude! She will not help you if you have asked for another person to do your nails. Unfortunately this is the one decent place here, but stay away from Linda she has no work ethic & looks like doesn't want to keep customers. read more

Nothing, my nails are terrible I told my nail tech that the tip of my nail shouldn't pop up, he told me he wasn't done yet. He didn't fix it or offer to get someone to help him, he charged me $51 for a full set with gel polish. When I called to ask for a refund I was told I could come in and have them redone but that they don't do refunds and they didn't address the fact that I was overcharged. Very rude, I don't trust them to redo my nails, and they won't do a refund. read more

Very unsatisfied with this experience. I noticed they were not cleaning after other customers (tools, soak tub for pedicures, etc), so I asked their cleaning procedures and they looked at me and laughed. Awful service and nasty energy. Will not be back and will tell friends to stay away! read more

Honestly this is probably one of the worst nail salons I have been to. Linda the owner is so snippy and rude. I told her to to please be careful with my nails since they are sensitive and she brushed me off. Then when I asked her to please cover the whole nail she said I couldn't since it's so short. I felt rushed and not taken care of since they were slammed with bookings. I didn't bring sandals or open toed shoes and she said how are you going to get regular polish on your toes if you don't have sandals. "No sense." She told me to sit down while I waited for someone to change my polish and the lady asked me what color. I said the same as my nails and she yelled at me saying "I told you to bring your color". I was disappointed at the level of customer service and how rushed I felt. I will not be coming back here. Save your money and wait to get an appointment elsewhere. Thank god I only got shellac I can't imagen how getting a full set would be here. read more

This place was recommended to me by a friend. And the people were not very nice, the man that did my nails cut me with the machine and just kept doing my nails, I am not happy with how my nails turned out and it just felt rushed the whole time, even though I had called ahead for an appointment. The nail tech was rude the whole time I felt uncomfortable. This was just my experience, I hope it's different for others. read more

I usually have a good experience here. Today I went in to get a fill and pedicure. My nail appointment went smoothly. My pedicurist was very rude. She attempted to polish my toes while they were still wet. I asked her several times to dry my toes and not just polish them. She refused to dry them and proceded to polish them. I asked her again to dry them. The last time that I asked for my toes to be dried before polishing them, she snatched the toe dividers off my toes and walked away. I attempted to speak to Richard about her behavior and he informed me that he was busy and did not have time to talk about it. I paid for my other services and left. This was not a good experience. read more

the gel black polish matte had bubbles and came off they charge a lot for a shi* job. would not go again.

I've been going here for a while when I am in town but St Joe is my permanent home. I've been to a few other places in and around town and they were a no go. I decided it was time to go get a mani/pedi so made an appointment with the girl I usually go too. She took me in a timely manner. Had some small talk but she mainly talked to her co-worker next to her which it was okay but not okay if you know what I mean, as you never know what they are saying...always in Vietnamese. It was a quick pedi so onto the mani part. I do gel on my nails and at this time I didn't have any to remove and my nails were short. As she got started for some strange reason the owner and her decided to get into it and how I know this, their voices were raised and the girl doing my nails hands started shaking at this time I knew their conversation was not at the right time. The owner had a client and so did my girl. So unappropriate at that time. Needless to say my mani was a hurry up and finish job. If you have an issue with one of your workers you pull them off to the side or you wait till neither one of you have clients sitting across from you. This is not the first time that I have seen or heard the owner raising her voice at her workers (which most is her family). So unprofessional to say the least. If I could I would give zero stars but I can't so one star it will be...at this time I do not recommend this place. When I go get a pedi/mani I want to be able to relax and be pampered. This is a hurry and go place. Just a few things on their menu to choose from. Unfortunately this will be the last time I will go there! read more

I pretty much hate getting my nails done around here. I always struggle to find places. I used to go here before. They did a decent enough job for me to go back. I moved out of state & came back. This place is 10 minutes from my house. 15 tops. They open early, which is a plus for me. Recommended by friends as well. I decided to get my nails done once again & im disappointed. Yes my nails are even in length. The shape though? Check again. My ring finger on my right hand. Look at that nail. What in the hell is up with it? I also could've used another coat of polish. Along with my friend who got yellow nails & I can see streak marks. NOT TWO COATS OF TOP POLISH. We might go back to give them another chance, but I might start going out of town. Maybe even out of state at this point. read more

I stopped in to get a polish change at the opening of the day- I told the greeter what I wanted and she relayed it to 2 staff who were sitting in the lunch area- I proceeded to wash my hands & once done- the 2 lazy employees were still sitting at the table having a conversation- I walked into the break room & said can one of you please service me? Just my luck the old man got up- never said hello, not 1 word during the service - he only communicated the price to me. This is SAD!!!!! read more

On 7.3.2023 I had my nails polished with gel nail polish. 7.7.2023 I noticed a few of my nails had the polish coming up. I called and spoke with the head nail tech. She advised me to come in. Got there and she mumbled she would refund me and not to come back. I advised I wanted them fixed and for them not to be mad that I am addressing my nails. I advised that I come regularly and this does not happen. The head nail tech asked another and she agreed it shouldn't happen. I told the nail tech that nothing was on the brush when she started my nails on 7.3 and she continued. 7.8.2023 they re did my nails. 8.5.2023 I go to her a polish change...now my nails lasted all this time. They advise me they don't want to do my nails because they're oily, but wanted to do my feet. Make that make sense. The head nail tech is out of town. Another nail tech was laughing saying we don't want to do them. I said ok and walked out. I will not argue nor beg anyone to take my money. Nail Care use to have some great nail techs and never any issues. Not sure but they are falling off. You all see the reviews. read more

Been going here for pedicures, went today ( 10/7 ) and paid using my card that I always use ...the big guy that works there ran my card and came back to me saying loudly that something is wrong with my card, I said impossible, been using it before I came in. He said he ran it 3 times, I said again its not my card and all I have is a check. I continued to write my check, he continued to tell me its my card, I said again its not my card, its prob your machine like the reader...At this point he began yelling ( in front of customers) thats its not his machine, etc and for me not to come back. I said thats fine, Im acting like an adult, you dont treat customers like this and wait until I make a review. He continued until I walked out the door screaming that I was rude ( really?! Cuz I told him twice that it wasnt my card so if that makes me rude then so be it. I wasn't acting like a 4 year old throwing a tantrum like he was. I called my bank as soon as I got in my car, it wasnt my card like I told him as they could see him trying to put the card through, it was operator error! I have heard negative things about this place before but gave it a shot. There is plenty of competition and much friendlier nail salons who would handle a situation like that with maturity. He is the one that is RUDE ! My opinion and advice is to go elsewhere...you work hard for your money, spend your money on customer service and a professional attitude !!! read more

I went for full set gel manicure. Linda did it. I was not impressed but my nails were ok. I felt the job was sloppy and could be better, since is not cheap. Two weeks later, I went for fill in and I got Tina. She did a much better job, and really liked her, but the next day both thumbs nails peeled off. I went on Monday and Linda was there. She was very argumentative and rude. Always blaming it on something that I could have done. She did a very poor job fixing the nail polish leaving a bubble in one nail. Well, I won't put up with her attitude again since there are more nail places around. She should be nicer and have a better attitude working with people. She doesn't have good customer service skills. read more

I had a very bad experience with the lady who waxed my eyebrows. She failed to get all the hair by the bridge of my nose and on the outer part of my lids. She suggested I grow some parts out a bit (saying the lady next door who threads threaded too much off). I can't see close up very well so I waited until I got home to check with a magnifying mirror. There was so much hair left! I went back the day after and she was very rude, saying she told me to grow my inner corners out. When I told her that it wasn't that that I was complaining about she kept shaking her head. She didn't even wax to correct, she just plucked. She plucked so fast and hard that it hurt and she took some skin. I was so upset that I just left. I will never go back and would discourage anyone from ever going there for waxing. read more

French tips looked great and were durable however my eyebrows are never symmetrically waxed

Worst mani/pedi ever. The lady doing my nails didn't speak English and there was definitely a communication issue as I wanted a french and she proceeded to put on the polish I picked out for the base and then thought she was done. I explained I needed her to finish to put the french tips and she just stared at me. The guy doing the nails next to my station explained in her native language what I needed and she proceeded to quickly put on the french tip but it looked horrible. Then it was time for my manicure and same problem - good grief! I again explained - FRENCH - and the same guy who tranlated for me had to finish the manicure - it also looked horrible. When it came time to pay the woman asked me how my experience was, I told her exactly how it was. Nothing. She just smiled. Great. I paid, did NOT tip and left. Won't be back. Oh and the manicure and pedicure lasted exactly 1 day before it chipped all over. Had to go somewhere else to get it re-done. Don't waste your time or money on this "nail salon". read more

My girlfriend went there to get a shellac manicure. She walked in and was sat immediately and a man there started doing her cuticles and filed her nails. First of all they didn't ask her how she wanted them shaped, and she later had to file them herself because they were so sharp and asymmetrical. He then realized he forgot to ask her to pick out a color, and prompted her to do so. After two minutes of looking for a color, he then came over to her and told her that if she wasn't going to pick soon that he would take another customer ahead of her after he had already started. Then once she sat down and finished the manicure, she noticed streaks, lines, bubbles, and dullness. She called and complained, and was seen by the same man the next day to fix his mistakes. When she walked in a woman asked her what nails she needed fixed, and she replied with "all of them". Once my girlfriend sat down with the SAME man, he did not redo anything, but simply put another coat on all nails. Now she has 5-7 coats of shellac on her hand and it looks awful. Waste of our time and $30 read more

Very disappointed with the service and quality. I had a manicure with OPI "Pinking of You" done over the weekend for my cousin's wedding. I sat under the lights and was extremely careful with my nails for the next hour. I noticed the polish started to wrinkle on every nail. I tried to smooth it out by pressing lightly but the whole chunk of paint wanted to come off and this was 4 hours later! By the end of the day, the nails were all wrinkled and shifted all over the place. I ended up redoing them on my own. This was for a wedding so I barely had enough time as it was. :( If I were from the area, I would've gone back for my money. Unfortunately, I have to take it as a complete loss. read more
