I've been here twice, and neither was a stellar experience. The salon itself is nice with new equipment; however, the Owners acted like they couldn't care less that I had to wait 1.5 hours at my *very first* appointments! Apparently, an "appointment" means nothing to them. They do not care about their customers. When I confronted them, they just give me a drink and say it'll just be a little longer. Well, I don't have all day to waste in an uncomfortable chair just to get my nails done! I have a business to run. They also made me feel like I was annoying THEM!!! They didn't let me dry my toes under the UV lights like I needed to (many, many layers of regular polish were used to paint my nail art on my toes, a pineapple on each big toe, which was adorable! Than you, Yessa!) It was closing time so they were kindarushing me. I had one pineapple smudge 5 minutes after I left, and had to go back to get it redone!) If they'd listened to me, they wouldn't dried and hardened more and not smudged. Fairly poor customer service. I will NOT be going back to get my nails done there. Their prices on waxing ARE very cheap, though, so I may try that portion of the salon out and update my review! read more

Sometimes it's not the money--it's the principle and the lack of compassion. Last December, I purchased a buy-one-get-one micro facial package from Nails Care & Tan by Quality foods on Big A Road Toccoa. I thought I had a year to use it, but I recently learned it expired after six months, June 10, 2026. Normally, I would have used it well before the expiration date. Unfortunately, I was involved in a catastrophic motor vehicle accident. I suffered extensive injuries, spent three months in the hospital and rehabilitation, and I'm still recovering. I'm currently wheelchair-bound, but I'm incredibly thankful to be alive and back home with my family. I called the salon, explained my situation, and simply asked if they would consider making a one-time exception. I wasn't asking for anything free--just the opportunity to use something I had already purchased. The answer was an immediate "no." I was then offered a manicure instead of the facial. I understand that every business has policies, and I respect that. But I also believe there are times when compassion and common sense should outweigh a rigid rule. A serious accident and months of hospitalization aren't circumstances anyone chooses. Needless to say, I won't be returning. Businesses have every right to enforce their policies, and customers have every right to decide where they spend their money. I'll continue supporting businesses that value kindness and understand that sometimes life happens. So sad. I would not recommend this business to anyone. Shame on you Nails Care & Spa! The nails here always fall off really fast. I got gel nails done on my fingers on Wednesday. By that following Friday they were already peeling. I had a wedding on Saturday and I tried my best to keep them on. After my shower on Sunday two of my nails were coming off. It is always like this here. I paid a lot of money for quality nails and they don't last at all. The workers are nice and the owners are nice but their work just isn't worth paying for. I went to a nail salon in dawsonville and got the exact same thing done on my nails they lasted MONTHS. Horrible experience! Never go to nail care & spa in Toccoa. I took my daughter and mother to get their nails done only for my daughters to look like absolute trash and them to refuse to paint mine and my moms even though we had a different nail tech after I asked them politely to redo my daughters nails because they looked terrible. They blamed it on her cuticles and made her feel pressured to say she liked them even though she was about to cry looking at them. They also were gaslighting her blaming her for not speaking up before they were done. She is 13. They wanted to charge me to take the polish off and re-polish them since they were gel. They charged me $230 for 2 pedicures 1 fill in that was never finished and two full sets even though they never finished mine because that's when they refused to fix my daughters without me paying extra and told us to get them finished where I take my daughter to get hers fixed. The lady's who did our pedicures did a great job but the nail techs are horrible! I had to pay $85 more for us all to have our nails painted and my daughters fixed and repainted. She asked for white coffin shaped nails the polish was all over her cuticles and they were not coffin shaped at all. They also charged us full price for the terrible gel paint on my daughters, mine and my mother's unfinished nails (still needing filed and painted). read more

i went there with my grandma and I had a guy do my nails and he was rushing yet nobody else was there and he didn't even wanna talk to me, and he did bad on my nails i had a simple black french tip and he did horrible on them the line are so off and the pair is under my nails and on my hands and he didn't clean it up so now it's dried on my nails, they are super crooked too. next time I go I'm not having him do my nails since he is such a bad nail artist read more

They always do a fantastic job on my nails! The atmosphere is very calm, relaxing, and quiet. I've been to other salons that feel like they don't have the best interest in their customers but every time I come into Nails Care and Spa, they are so generous and kind. On the rare occasion that I've ever had an issue, they were reasonable and super nice about it. They always make sure to make things right. I highly recommend Nails Care and Spa! read more

I've lived in Toccoa for almost 4 years and when I first started going here they did a decent job. The last couple times that I've been, including a few days ago they have done a terrible job on my sns nails! They rush through everything and don't take the time to do things right. I keep giving them chances to do a good job and continue to be let down. Kevin specifically did majority of mine sns this last time and I expected much better results. I'm only giving 2 stars for the lady that did my toes. I was happy with that experience so if you're looking for a pedicure this place isn't bad. I used to come here all the time get my nails done but now it's not worth the time and money. I went for prom and they messed up my nails so bad. The acrylic was bumpy and uneven with some parts of my raw nail exposed. I just recently went again because I had a giftcard and my nails turned out so uneven and crooked. The one who did my nails rushed when there was not even a wait behind me. My nails turned out awful and way too short because he just kept filing down the SNS. I have been coming here for over 10 years. Brenda and Kevin have run a clean, reasonably priced, nail salon since they opened. They have expanded the business to a full salon with massages, haircuts, waxing, etc. Over the years, if I had a problem or complaint or I come up with some design of my own, they have always went above and beyond to make it right. Let's just say, whenever I'm out of town for an extended amount of time and I have to use another salon, I'm never as satisfied as I am with them. Highly Recommend!!! read more

I paid $35 for a deluxe pedicure and the polish literally looks SO bad. it's clumpy, streaky, there's chips in my toenails (even after she filed them) and there's polish on my cuticles. I was very disappointed and won't be going back again. read more

My SNS mail treatment began coming off exactly one week after I went in. When I stopped back by the salon to show them the problem, I was told this was normal because everyone's fingernails are different.
