Last-minute walk-in for a pedicure, and I'm so glad I stopped by!…read more I went with the Signature Pedicure, and Lily took such good care of me! Service was straightforward, no fuss, and she got the job done. My feet are finally looking cute again, and I appreciate her attention to detail! But OH MY GAWD, the massage?! Almost knocked me right out! I was fighting for my life trying not to fall asleep in that chair LOL. Thank you, Lily, for bringing my feet back to life! Definitely can't wait to come back again!

I went here after seeing all the ratings and maintaining of a four-STAR rating.... YEAH, NO! The owner lied and said there was another woman in the back eating, and she could accommodate both my friend and I at the same time. When I told her it would be a regular polish pedicure, she only gave me the option to pick from the old, dusty and crusty OPI nail polishes on the wall. EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM HAD SEPARATED, like the polish itself had not been used in YEARS. She filled up both pedicure chairs and had us both sitting in water, and immediately started in on my friends pedicure, using a drill to very forcefully remove my friends gel polish, removing several layers of her natural nail. Almost halfway through my friend's pedicure, I ask about where the other girl is and she says " I'm just gonna do when I'm done with her." WTH?! Idk what made this woman think she could take time from us this way. She then tells me the other girl is on the way and proceeds to keep calling the girl back to back and getting sent to Voicemail, and then attempted to call another girl and got sent to Voicemail. All while doing a crap job on my friends pedicure, also my massage chair did not work, so now I'm just sitting with my feet in cold water and a massage chair that doesn't work- sitting next to the dirty pedicure chair from the girl who was there when we got there, and my friend having a miserable time getting her pedicure on the other side of me. I told the owner I just needed her to make sure my friend had a good pedi and she can stop trying to call everyone and just forget about my pedi. We would have at least let her finish that one if a ROACH hadn't then crawled on my friend's leg. IDK HOW this place is still in business or at a 4.2 rating. We left right away and that TRASH owner Still accepted $20 from my friend. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

Got seated right away, the tech offered the menu the have quite a bit of additional charges which usually comes with service at other nail salons. It was $28 for the basic gel service and an additional $19 I think for the color which is wild to me that they have it broken down like that. Plus another 9.99 to remove the callus. I opted for the $48 no removed Callus. I wasn't able to take a picture of the menu but this was shady and won't be coming back. The tech also tried to show me the more expensive nail colors which I declined. Just wasn't a good vibe here. Then to put the nail in the coffin "no pun intended" they did not accept a VISA CARD. They wanted me to Zelle or Venmo so I had to go next door the massage shop to get money from the atm. So inconvenient. Absolutely no reasoning of why I cannot swipe my card. Avoid we have so many options here in SD no reason why we should settle for businesses that continue to operate like this.

The staff provides a complimentary beverage and the boba place next door does 15% off your order if you are getting a salon service. The $5 callus treatment with the pedicure was very worth it. They don't do 3D art, they've told me they literally can't do anything other than gel polish. This last time they told me they won't do art unless it's gel, and that will cost you like 30$ more on top of the 29$ for a basic manicure. My 65$ pedicure was 94$ after I added gel chrome polish. Like if you don't want to do regular polish- say GEL ONLY- so we all know! The older woman who did ny pedicure was great and all but the language barrier was brutal and she literally spent 10 mins talking to someone else to get clarification on how to do chrome nails! Like how is this place even in business if you get stuck at chrome nails. I asked for dark red as my base color but she wouldn't do it, and just used black. It's so frustrating when you are excited to treat yourself and they claim to do all this stuff just to waste your time finding out they don't. AND they take soooooo long. They also seem very ANTI-BLACK. I'm mixed and one of the girls literally never did my manicure and left when I asked if I could just do regular manicure and not gel. And then when 2 non-black women came in, they immediately did theirs, and when I asked again they acted like it was the first time I even brought it up! Another time a woman (the last time I came in) asked me to pay upfront before my nails would be done, "becuase that's their policy" while the woman next to me paid AFTER her nails were done! Like do you think I'm dumb? Come on. I'm never coming back. Just a waste of time, if you want the nails you ACTUALLY want. Don't waste your money.
