I've been able to call a couple days before just to secure and get an apt. It does seems like others make apts for day and get them. I love that Tip2Toes is in PB- the people watching is great, and makes the time go by fast. The first time I visited, they simultaneously worked on both my feet and hands- I felt totally spoiled and definitely a life you can get used to. The second my nails were done first and then later my feet. Either way works. I'm happy the staff is nice and professional. The spa chairs are very comfortable and there is nothing like getting a pedi while getting a massage on your back. Got seated right away, the tech offered the menu the have quite a bit of additional charges which usually comes with service at other nail salons. It was $28 for the basic gel service and an additional $19 I think for the color which is wild to me that they have it broken down like that. Plus another 9.99 to remove the callus. I opted for the $48 no removed Callus. I wasn't able to take a picture of the menu but this was shady and won't be coming back. The tech also tried to show me the more expensive nail colors which I declined. Just wasn't a good vibe here. Then to put the nail in the coffin "no pun intended" they did not accept a VISA CARD. They wanted me to Zelle or Venmo so I had to go next door the massage shop to get money from the atm. So inconvenient. Absolutely no reasoning of why I cannot swipe my card. Like how is this place even in business if you get stuck at chrome nails. I asked for dark red as my base color but she wouldn't do it, and just used black. They also seem very ANTI-BLACK. I'm mixed and one of the girls literally never did my manicure and left when I asked if I could just do regular manicure and not gel. And then when 2 non-black women came in, they immediately did theirs, and when I asked again they acted like it was the first time I even brought it up!
