Thought they were going to give my mini me the full spa experience for her mani-pedi but just shaped her finger nails and polished. Me on the other was so not for the $30 pedicure experience. The nail tech I had didn't message me or anything out of the ordinary (message lotion or oil- left on my leg). In here I noticed that the product jars have been here since they opened. They might even be the ones you send when I used to bring my mother over 5 yrs ago. Lol I guess if it's not broken. During my manicure the tech nicked me and didn't even noticed until I mentioned it. The polish is also acetones down and my cuticles weren't cleaned of all the polish. The tech didn't even use a new band file on my feet or hand and then carbid bit wasn't cleaned from the last customer. The wax station uses the same stick they used on the last patron and is truly covered in old wax. But overall I was an okay experience.

I booked an appointment online for a gel pedi and gel polish removal which they charge $15 for if…read morethe previous service wasn't done with them. My appointment was scheduled for 3:45 for the pre-booking and 4:00 PM for the service. I arrived at about 3:53 just a few minutes later than my appointment time. I was greeted by who I assumed was the nail technician who was working with another client and told me to have a seat and that I should start looking for a nail color. She said that she was almost done with her client and that I would be next, I told her I wasn't in a rush and that it was fine. She then asked me to join her and her client in the pedicure chairs so that I wouldn't be alone sitting in the waiting area. It's a small salon so I wasn't sure why she asked me to move but I obliged not to seem rude or dismissive of her. I went and sat and placed my nail color on the tray next to me and just started feeling very uncomfortable. She was still working on her client and asked if I wanted anything to drink, I respectfully declined as I was already picking up on the fact that she was obviously judging me for some reason and honestly I didn't even feel like she wanted to do the service. After some internal debate as to whether I should stay or not I decided to stay. She ended up taking an additional 20 minutes to complete her client and then started on my service. I had booked the gel polish removal service which again was an additional $15, she used a drill to remove the color no acetone or anything else. The pedicure chairs are extremely uncomfortable and I was just not feeling comfortable with this service at all. She asked if she should cut my nails and I did say yes and just to file the rest. I asked her to even out on of my nails that a previous owner and a different salon cut completely wrong. She said that it was because my toe was slanted, what does a slanted toe have to do with how you shape the nail? Anyway I had a previous acrylic layer done on my great toe and I needed the small piece drilled out but that didn't happen, she proceeded to tell me that I wasn't drying my toes properly which isn't true and then she stated that my nail was infected and that I should use anti fungal spray on my toe. I'm not in the business of arguing and so I just listened to what she had to say and then she said that I could still have the service done. I stayed with this thought in my head although things are sterilized at nail salons to my knowledge you're not suppose to service a customer with a fungal infection. Which is why I know that's a complete lie because she did in fact continue with the service. There was no in depth cleaning or much of anything. My cuticles were cut, my toes were cut and filed and overall the service was fine. It wasn't great and I probably wouldn't return here. The lack of service, coupled with the fact that this woman told me I had a fungal infection and still worked on my feet and the awkward feeling I had there were enough for me to be completely turned off by this business. She also had another client booked durning my service and when she walked in the technician greeted her and said " Wow punctuality" kind of as a snub to me getting there 4 minutes later than my scheduled time. This was totally unpleasant experience, Thank you next. *** Update*** 07/02/25 The gel polish has lifted from two of my nails. The worst part of all of this is that I can't/ won't ask for this to be fixed by them as I know I will not be getting good service due to whatever prejudice they have.
