The girls were really helpful and the lady who did my nails was very professional and gave me great advice on how to care for them. I got the three-week manicure done and I remember 2 weeks on my nails were still looking like they did when I left the branch. The manicure lasted perfectly and my nails were glowing 3 weeks on! All my friends loved my nails and went to get theirs done too. I definitely returned to get my nails re-applied, it's a real treat and an amazing service.

Around Christmas I went to Nails Inc. to get my nails done in time for the party season and decided…read moreto take my little sister as a Christmas treat. After a bit of a mess-up with timings (the receptionist seemed fairly bored and disorganised) we finally sat down to get our manicures. The salon was a bit hot and stuffy and they really needed some ventilation as my head was spinning from the fumes but apparently they were about to refurbish so we can let them off :) My sister ended up waiting for 20 mins while mine started straight away but luckily as I was getting Minx nails and she was getting a French we still finished at the same time. The therapist who did my nails was really lovely though and my nails looked amazing which made up for it all. Although it was fairly expensive it was totally worth it and my nails lasted for a whole MONTH - amazing!

I'm not rude, but I will not hesitate to point out an issue and ask for it to be fixed. I tell you this not so that you can hate on the entitled and demanding American; I tell you this so that you can read my 5-star review and know that this place hits the mark!!! I have been going to Kevin for all but my first appointment, and he is my homie. BFFs forevah! He is quick, thorough, does beautiful and precision polish work, and he is more than happy to adjust any little minor thing that you want tweaked. Believe me, if he hasn't given me 'the look' (you know the one, all exasperated and full of ill-concealed impatience), then I think it's safe to say that he is just incredibly patient and happy to accommodate. The thing that I like most about Kevin is that he remembers my preferences from appointment to appointment; he knows that I prefer to shape mine at the end, and knows just how I like to have the sides filed, and he asks before shortening them. See? I'm insane, but at least I own it! In other news, the salon uses only top quality products: OPI and Essie for standard polishes, and the OPI and Creative for the gel manicures. They have every color you could ever hope to choose from, and they don't cut corners with cheaper duplicates. Every single thing I have seen them use is brand name and specific. To me, that says that they value the performance of a brand and then pass it on to their clients. They have the spa pedicure chairs and they clean them after each client. The prices are very fair, especially given the location. Cash only, so stop at the ATM before you show up.

Here at Katy's was pleasant, painfree, cheap with good results! It's the first time I'd been to a nail salon like Katy's - minimal talking, sit and wait for a free technician, speedy but efficient service - so I didn't quite know the deal. There were a few awkward moments where I had to be told where to go, when to wait, what to do.
