Disappointed. Very expensive and not a spa pedicure for $47.00. The service was good but over-priced for treatment. I won't be going back.

I would give negative stars if I could. Long story short, I bought my wife a gift card for a mani/pedi several years ago(no expiration date on card & in MA gift cards don't expire, only have a minimum) and we finally went to use it only to find out they said they couldn't find it in their computer system. I still have the card with card # and bar code. I made countless calls and was assured it would be resolved however I never got any calls back. Its been over a month now and every time I call they claim there is no manager on site and they'll be in tomorrow or later in the week. Complete lies. I think they assume I'll just go away if they just don't call back but they are sorely mistaken. This is actual theft in my eyes. My wife never uses gift cards right away as they are a treat and its nice to save for a special day. Its really unfortunate, this business could have resolved this so easily and made a customer happy, its only a nail treatment, not thousands of dollars, but they decided to do the contrary and be unprofessional and ghost a good customer. Its too bad because we would have kept coming but no more. In fact they lost business by doing so. Stay away, if the current reviews aren't enough maybe this will convince you. read more

The first time I went here, I was left sitting with the solution to remove gel nail polish on my nails for 15 minutes. When I inquired where the nail technician had gone, I got an attitude - she was in the back, where I could see her. Not sure what she was doing, but she came out a few minutes later. The second time, I had an appointment, arrived on time. When I walked in not one person acknowledged me. There were 2 people working with customers, not even close to being finished, so I waited a few minutes. Still no acknowledgment that I was even standing there until I asked the man if they were running late, should I come back. He said yes, 5 minutes. Just like the first time last year, he said somebody was in the back - no explanation as to if they were coming out or when. I had a terrible experience with Vicky and Henry. I got pink gel nails and they turned yellow after 2 days and when I went back I was told I would have to pay if I wanted a different color because it was "my fault" they turned yellow. I'm not sure what I could have done. I ended up using a gift card for a different color as I didn't want to risk running into the same issue and had no problems. It was clearly bad polish and for the inconvenience of having to go all the way back there, I feel they should have focused more on customer service/retaining business than the $17 polish change fee. Very inconvenient and disappointing all around. I've never run into something like this anywhere before. They have lost a customer and any recommendation I would have given to go there. read more

I am very disappointed with my experience. My mom has gone before and said they did a great job on her gel manicures and that despite being pricier than other nail salons around, they were worth it. I did not find this to be the case. First, I had an appointment and I showed up a few minutes early to pick my color, and ended up waiting over ten minutes past my appointment time before I even saw my technician. I understand this happens, and the assistant manager was overly apologetic for it, so I won't ding them for this; I'm just making the comment. Second, my technician cut my finger while shaping my cuticle beds. I understand this happens, but she didn't even notice she cut me until I winced from an alcohol pad while putting my nail polish on. Didn't appreciate it. Third, while painting my nails, she kept missing the sides of my nails, and on one of my ring fingers there is a noticeable gap between where the polish ends and where my nail meets my finger at the bottom. I didn't notice this until after; unfortunately, or I would have asked her to fix it like I had to for at least two other nails. With the amount of time she took on each nail, I was very surprised to see how much of my nail she actually missed. On the other hand, while painting 3 of my nails, she also painted the tip of my finger. When doing a final look over, I asked her to fix it and she questioned me 3 times what was wrong with my nails - I know the color was pretty neutral but it was significantly darker than my finger and you could clearly see the polish. Overall, I was very disappointed, because I heard this place was a reputable nail salon. Maybe this is one bad experience in a slew of positive ones. I wish I knew how to post pictures on here to show the condition of my nails (left the salon maybe 20 minutes ago), but wanted to point this out. I looked for the assistant manager who was so friendly before but couldn't find her, and when I got up to get change my technician was gone before I even got back to her. Giving this place 3 stars because I feel bad giving 2, it was a nice atmosphere and everyone else seemed pleased with their nails. read more

Have been going here about a year for Pedis... Which I must say are the best experience EVER... They take you in these private stall like booths in the back, and then once done with the Pedi part, shut the lights and give you a good 20 min massage... BEST THING EVER... The pedis are actually really good too, I have had several people there and they take good care of you. Got a mani last week when I went & was very pleased with that as well... You get a beverage when you get in the door... Its a great place, with great people. read more

This is worst salon. I haven't been there in few years and needed a fill. This tech named Hanna did horrible job. Filed my nails awful the sides of my nails on angle never seen this before . Then I go to check out the girl says 53 dollars I almost died. And asked why it was so high. Because I got fill and used gel polish. Well I brought my own gel polish from home. They didn't care. I've never regretted any service I have had here. My most recent was the pump it up pedicure and it was awesome. This is really the best place to get a pedicure in the area. You get your own private area so no one is watching you get your pedicure. No awkward conversations with strangers. The staff are all very friendly. You are offered a complimentary beverage upon check in. Then you wait for your toe polish to dry near a fireplace setting with palm trees. It's super relaxing, and well worth the money. If you give your email, the send out email specials which are amazing deals, but usually they are for that day only. Seriously worth every cent! read more

I received an ultra relaxing pedicure here a little over a month ago and have been meaning to leave a review!! I walked in on a busy Friday evening. Totally expected to wait but I was surprised to be greeted by a friendly nail tech who whisked me away to a private space to get my pedicure. The only reason I am leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the water in the foot tub was a little more than lukewarm... I prefer my pedicures to be hot. I asked the tech if she could make it hotter (assuming she had both the hot and cold water running) and she told me that it was on the hot water setting only. Oh well, not her fault. Other than that - my pedicure was soooo relaxing, and my toes stayed pretty and polished for a couple of weeks. I will def be back! read more

They offer the latest color trends and collections of your favorite high end polishes, in both gel and regular. The beautiful girl at the front desk, Shalyn, is also a great nail tech. read more

I paid $70 for tips and dip I asked for something very basic- white nails and coffin shape. She told me I wanted my nails "too long" (the nails I got are considered short everywhere else) and that she needed to make them thick. I was like weird but ok because i figured they'd last awhile (they did not). I came out with square bumpy nails, she didn't take the time to buff completely. I then called and they fixed them for free, which was great, but was more time I didn't want to spend. It's now a week later and FOUR of them have fallen off. I have never paid that much money for such bad nails. I figured for a place where I was spending so much money for something SO SIMPLE they'd do a great job. Will not be returning. read more

Got a gel manicure a week ago this place was way over priced. The tech seemed to be in a rush. Gel started to peel next day. The salon smelled like someone microwaved fish. The techs would gossip to each other in Vietnamese they didn't know I speak it, they are kind of bitches and talk trash about their clients. The girl Vicki at the front was rude and seemed annoyed when ever clients went up to her. Don't bother coming here you can get a way better manicure for a much lower price else where. read more

This is by far one of the best nail salons I've ever been to. My mother recommended this place a whole back and got me a pedicure gift certificate recommending I see Diem, her favorite stylist. I loved everything about my experience there. The pedicure area is individual rooms (with a curtain to either open, if you're with friends, or keep closed for privacy). You're given an extra late massage chair and it's such a luxurious experience. I love the coloring of this place as well. Everything is blue or gray and quite "on brand" as I would say. I'm a big fan of all the Nails & Co. locations, so me and a friend decided to check out the one in Peabody since it's the closest to us. This location has the same clean, nice decor as all the locations. The pedicure chairs are a little different, unfortunately the one I got wasn't working correctly. Which is a bummer cause thats half the reason I go to these places. The girl who did my pedicure was friendly but a little too rushed. A few of my toe nails were cut crooked, but the polish came out perfect and has lasted two weeks so far. I'd definitely go back to this location, but I need to try out a few different people and find an employee I'm completely satisfied with. read more

I went there about a week ago before my vacation to get a mani and pedi. The location is nice, clean and relaxing. The employees are nice and accommodating. However, you're paying for the atmosphere and not the quality of the work. A few days after my gel manicure 2 of my nails chipped. There was nothing special about the pedi and it's overpriced. Taking a closer look at my pedi and noticed there was a smudge that was made when they were putting my flip flop on and "tried" to fix it but it still looked smudged. In total I paid $81 (not including tip) in my opinion not worth it. I've paid $$$ for a good mani and pedi and have lasted longer and the quality was exceptional. read more

Nails and Company consistently goes above and beyond expectations. They make you feel special and like you're entering a spa when you get your nails done. They offer you a drink when you enter and the pedicure spaces are semi-private. The most basic mani/pedi package includes a massage of feet or hands. I have been going to Nails and Co since it opened over 10 years ago, and now that I've moved I still go out of my way to go there because nowhere else compares to the results or service. read more

Nails & Co. has become my go-to for my pedicures and manicures. The staff is friendly and the technicians are professional and excellent. The private pedicure stations where you also get a few moments to relax in the dark is my FAVORITE part of the experience - true privacy to unwind and be pampered; you don't get that everywhere. While the salon was very clean before, I'm impressed with their post-COVID level of cleanliness and care. I felt 100% comfortable with their precautions to keep everyone safe. I took my daughter here yesterday and we both got mani/Pedi. My daughters Pedi was amazing. She had Jasmine and she is the only one with any talent or personality? My girl however, cut me, denied it then did not do any callous removal. and I could of painted them better. In fact, im fixing two which prompted me to write the review. Oh... Then we went for our nails. I had a man who was so rough and mean and fast that I was actually nervous getting my nails done. He was laughing and talking to another older woman in there native speak. It was rude and when I didn't move my hand fast enough, he yanked it or smacked it out of the way. Im not exaggerating!! Then on top of everything, it came to 180.00. ARE YOU Blanking KiDDING ME? Nails & Co. comped a gel polish change due to a bad experience in Beverly (and after repeated attempts to pay). Amy did such a fantastic job - she really focused on applying the polish and gave me over an hour of her time. (Which was WAY more than I received in Beverly for a full gel mani.) If this place wasn't out of my price range, I would definitely go more often. read more

When they first opened, they were clean, efficient, professional and did a great job with my pink and white powder. A few years later, they are still clean but less professional and less efficient. I wanted pink and white and Ashley told me nobody does that anymore. I think she just didn't want to do it or didn't know how to did it well. I asked her what is new or better in nail design and she suggested just acrylic and painted white French. I went along with that against my better instinct. She used nail glue on the ends of my nails at the end of the process which is weird and I've never had done. The next day they we're chipped. A couple days later my left index finger started to have a greenish stripe going across the middle of the inside of my nail. It's been getting greener and looks like some kind of bacteria or fungus. It's only been a week and I have to go back to get them done again when this should have lasted two weeks. Not happy with Ashley. The salon as a whole seems to have gone way downhill. I am updating my past review to 4 stars (so far). I received a call to come in for a complimentary appointment with Hannah, after my bad experience. I did accept and since that time, it feels the "old" Nails and Co. that I used to go to. I am hoping this lasts as my previous experience of having to wait 15 minutes and then receiving the rude response from one of the front desk receptionists really left a bad impression of the place. Well worth it for the pedicure, even though it's pricy compared to other nail salons on the north shore. Similar to other nails & co locations, this location is clean and the staff is friendly. The pedicure lasts about 45 mins, with a good 15-20 minute foot and leg massage (with the lights dimmed!) The massage chairs are big and comfortable. The nail techs make sure that your polish is perfect before you leave. Oh, and they offer you a beverage at the door! read more

It was my best pedi yet (been 5 years!). The staff was very nice and the technician was wonderful. Lisa Do gives such good massages. Gentle yet firm. She doesn't dig into you like some people at other salons. My toes look perfect and she was super sweet the entire time. It's such a nice place. And so clean. I noticed that the nails cutters are from a clean sterile pack, and they use a new scrubby thing for each person. And the whole vibe of the salon is really nice. Great interior design and wonderful touches like offering you water. The only thing I don't like is the other clients conversations at the dryer area. They all seem to be rich HamWen moms who talk to each other about "the club" and the private schools their kids attend. But that's not Nail and cos fault. A tip- make sure you have cash for a tip. However, today I went with my mom (my appointment immediately following hers), and I heard the staff at the front desk talking badly about her because she was three minutes late to her appointment. Definitely not worth the price. Got a shellac manicure for $35 and before I even left my nail polish started getting bubbles in it! They man in the front was kind and had someone fix it for me, but still, it started peeling 3 days later! I expected much better quality for the price, especially since there are multiple places that charge $20-25 for a better quality shellac manicure. In February I paid $75, I have always been happy with their customer service and the cleanliness, also the staff is very nice, never had a bad experience and so I justified the cost. Nails & Co in Peabody was recommended by a friend of mine so I decided to give it a try. While it is a bit above the average price for a gel manicure, I assure you it is well worth it. I was greeted by a smiling and friendly receptionist who offered me a beverage upon arrival which is a nice touch. I waited only a few minutes for my appointment with Da who did an excellent job on my nails. She opened the sterile pack of tools she would use in front of me which I love. They use disposable buffers and files on your nails which is worth the extra money alone not having to worry about who's nails its touched. Also the nail stations are immaculate, there is no equipment crowding the space and everything is SO clean. The gel lasted better than I am used to with minimal chipping. I was looking for a place to have a pedicure to help ease the pain from corns on my baby toes. I looked through various reveiws and found Nails & Company. I loved the reviews I saw and said I will try them. I loved the salon and the feeling of being in a spa, and their staff is great. My issue with them is I didn't get good pedicure, in fact it was the worse one I have ever received. The young lady doing the pedicure was very nice but she couldn't understand me when I kept asking her to work on the corns. The gentleman at the front desk were wonderful as well, when I was asked how it went and when I told them I wouldn't be back, they offered me to come back with another technician to get another pedicure. They didn't charge me for the pedicure I received, so maybe if I decided to go back to have another technician do the pedicure I may have liked it. I am given them 3 starts for the service I did receive was wonderful and the salon itself is very nice. read more
