Found this place online. It was literally the only normal nail salon I could find that wasn't appointment only. For some reason most places in Florence are all super small and always fully booked. I got a pedicure here as well as an arm wax and upper lip wax. The pedicure was pretty good and they had a great color selection. My polish job lasted a very long time!! The waxing was very interesting. The arm wax was great and the woman was super nice and I felt very comfortable. However, I got a very bad burn on my upper lip from the wax that they use or the way that she waxed me and I definitely would not recommend getting an upper lip wax here after this. My arms were fine though. Definitely recommend this place for getting your nails done. read more

Was told my gel manicure was $45 and regular pedicure was $35. Pedicure wasn't anything special, felt I could get a basic one with more back in USA for $35 euros ngl. Every color I wanted was not available too so I was pretty much unhappy with the color choice I ended up having. My mani nail tech was really sweet though! In the end it was $100?! Told me the charged for extra gel removal.. mind you my gel mani and pedi literally were all chipped and mostly gone! They failed to communicate that they were charging me extra for that.... So my removal total was $20 lol $100 for a gel mani that I had to settle for a color & a regular pedicure is pretty extreme in my opinion did not leave feeling better or relaxed-- just stressed read more

I just wanted to get out of this place! My experience was ok, they aren't very friendly. This cost me 100 euros! Way over priced and they look horrible. The paint job is so bad and the nails are crooked. It reeked of chemicals. Honestly don't even waste your time there are many other places to go in Florence. Give someone else your buisness. Spent about 2 hours and 15 minutes in an uncomfortable couch area getting a pedicure. This place is extremely overpriced for their services. One of the technicians was learning how to do pedicures during my wife's spa treatment. She did little to no exfoliating, which is the main reason she comes for a pedicure . When it came down to my pedicure, my water was Luke warm at best with no essential oils or soap to prep my feet for the pedicure. The technician was extremely rough around my cuticles and cut some of my surrounding skin. The French tips were un even. The price for a pedicure with French gel was 80Euros. Insane. I understand we are in a tourist area, but overall I wouldn't recommend. read more

Came here for a pedicure as a tourist and felt very unwelcome. I booked in advance, was quiet, didn't ask for any corrections even though there were blotching stripes issues. The woman was just immediately angry with me and rough. Cuticles hurt but still I didn't say anything. She left halfway through without saying a word and gave me someone else. studying abroad in florence and came here with my friends to get a mani pedi. we ended up staying here for over 3 hours. the workers were unfriendly and kept getting distracted and getting up while doing our nails. not to mention they leave the door wide open and you get bit my mosquitoes every second. at the end the price was 135€ which was beyond insane. i have never paid so much for shitty nails. super uncomfortable seating and my chair fell over. we are very disappointed. don't reccomend coming here. read more

I was really hesitant to get my nails done for the first time in a country other than the US. However, I was very happy with my results! The worker at the desk was very kind and spoke English well. The woman who did my nails was also nice and spoke English as well. However, I would recommend calling them to make an appointment. They kindly and luckily were able to fit me in same day, but most walk ins were turned away due to it being busy. Am an abroad student here. needed a fill and was hesitant to go anywhere. went here and was pretty good. definitely different method than used in america, specifically california. Not the regular monomer and liquid. they used some sort of builder gel. workers were very nice and understood the basic english since i speak no italian. not sure how a full set would be since about halfway through my appointment someone walked in and said she got her nails done yesterday and 3 had already fallen off. since i originally got my nails done at home and just got a fill here i don't think ill have that problem. overall my nails look good. I like them..don't love them. Also it took a while considering it was just a fill. she pretty much did one nail at a time. Would recommend looking into Ilyos. I walk past all the time and looks much nicer. probably more expensive thought. read more

this is for my study abroad girlies. do not be afraid to get a brazillian here. woman up and do it for the beach. it takes less than 10 minutes here and the staff members and crazy nice. was able to get an appointment same day. i use hard wax in the us and this one is soft wax with the strips but it's not that bad and the staff members are quick with it. do it you won't regret. read more

Came in to have two pedicures done one was with gel and the other was what they call Spa. Well my "spa" was a mediocre attempt of a regular pedicure when they just rub the sugar scrub, lotion and so called wax, there was barely any exfoliating, all for the price of $45€. We had been walking for miles and really needed some relaxing treatment. It so overpriced and one of the worst pedicures I have ever had. I'm giving one star just because they were nice and let us do same day but if I would of known how bad it was going to be I would of just saved my money. My wife for a gel pedicure with a basic French tip and added the "spa" treatment too all for 80€. Also not worth it. read more

Got a set of acrylics while on vacation. Process took 2 hours because they were very thorough. Between the gluing and the actual painting, Tsira added a layer of dip powder to make the surface even. $80. They were friendly and the salon is nice and clean, if a little small. read more

I broke my nail while on vacation and came across this nail salon. They were able to get me in the same day just later on but I opted to next day early morning which was great they are so flexible!! They were able to color match my fixed nail with my others, and the nail girl was so nice! She did my nail very fast and did a great job! They use poly gel so your nails won't break off like acrylic fake tips. They have many colors to choose from also! && she even gave me a little hand massage at the end. I give Daniella a 5 because she did a GREAT job on the nails. The rest of the issue would be that their topcoat yellows quickly and it chipped within 20 minutes of leaving. I had to go back and ask them to put a gel topcoat. I'm sure they would've charge me but there was a local that spoke English Getting her nails done. I tipped Daniela for putting the gel topcoat on though. Was about 45€ to get a manicure and pedicure that was NOT gel so it was ridiculously expensive for the area. Unsure if that's the regular price or the tourist price. Gel topcoat chipped after 3 days. I'd stick with a pedicure only and do your own manicure.. or gel only. read more

While I was in Florence for a five-month stay I discovered Nails&Beauty and was so happy I did. The nail technicians are very sweet and do a very thorough job. I have never left a review in my life but I had to because this was the weirdest/worst experience ever. I'm studying abroad so I was nervous to find a new place here to get my nails done. I picked a color and when she put it on my nails, it looked completely different then it did when they first showed it to me. It was supposed to be light pink and literally looked gray. I asked if I could switch the color and even offered to pay a little extra to which she told me it would be 10 more. I said that was fine and she changed the color. The entire time this lady was redoing my nails she was so rude and aggressive with my nails. It was obvious that all of the women in this salon were laughing and talking about the situation, being completely rude. After already re-doing my nails, she then told me that it was actually going to be 30 extra and there was nothing I could do about it because she already did my nails. Near the San Lorenzo mercato. Was in desperate need for a gel mani and without many choices I decided to come here and I'm so glad I did! The staff was very friendly and could speak English very well. The mani was kinda pricey (45€) but they did a fantastic job and really paid attention to detail. Also had a good selection of colors which is something I was worried about. Overall loved my experience here and I will definitely be returning for my next mani! read more

I have been to many nail places and this one was not the best experience. I had acrylic infill and pedicure. Pedicure was done very well. However, the acrylic infill was terrible. Nail technician when taking off the polish and filing nails, filled not only skin on all of my fingers, but also cut 5 fingers (photos are attached). Nails are super fat and different shape. I paid ~€115 for both pedicure and infill and this is overpriced for work like this. I was supper unsatisfied with this salon. read more

After 2 years in florence I finally found my go-to spot for nails and waxing. The girls are amazing - especial Sira for bio gel or acrylic. One star off is for the owner, who I had a very bad experience with but luckily the girls who work for her a awesome enough to keep me coming back. read more

I went today for about the 6th time: I've gone twice for bikini waxes, 4-5x for nails. Per my first review, there were some issues my first two visits but as I mentioned in an update, I give them credit for reaching out to me and making it up to me. No issues with the waxes and subsequent mani/pedi services (except once, they were out of my fave color and I had to take the time - and transpo costs - to come back the next day). But good work, good location, and the girls are friendly. Cut to today... I had an appt for mani (acrylic fill and shellac color) and pedi (shellac). I didn't stay for the pedi. I think the technician who did my mani may be the owner or manager bc a) she has an attitude problem that only a person in power would get away with, and b) she doesn't wear the uniform or name tag the other girls wear. Along the course of the mani, I had some procedural questions bc she was doing things totally different than I had experienced before (zero moisture, meaning she did the whole thing totally DRY, which hurt - and she wasn't going to trim my cuticles at all until I insisted - and no base coat - and doing only one or two nails at a time). With each question, she didn't know the answer herself and had to ask someone else and when I kept saying that every other time I'd been there it had been different, she insisted I was wrong. Also? She bloodied my cuticle, too, with zero apology. Also, she was painting only one or two nails at time and when she told me to put my nails in the light-dryer thing, I only placed those fingers in it, not my whole hand (bc that light is bad for you any more than is necessary). Her response? "Oh my God." Rude, huh? I had also asked her to round the corners of my nails a bit more, bc they were too square: actually sharp to the touch. She said she'd do it at the end and when I merely asked if that would damage the polish, she rolled her eyes. So, as I'm doing finger gymnastics putting only one or two in the dryer at a time, I muttered, "this is crazy." She jumped back and asked "you are saying I am crazy?? I said "no, I'm not saying you are crazy, I'm saying this system is crazy." She walked away and had another girl finish. The new girl a) put down a soft towel for where the owner/manager had put down nothing; got me a bandage for my bleeding cuticle; and when I told her I wasn't staying for the pedi, she whispered to me, "even if I do it? not her?" Indeed, I declined. I went to the counter to pay 50 euros for this debacle, and she was standing there. I showed her the bandaged finger and asked if she was going to at least say she's sorry to me for cutting my finger. Then she went off on a temper tantrum, raising her voice, talking over me, not letting me get a word in edgewise. I did manage to hear this,"every time you are in here, there is a problem!" Yeah, like I cut myself 3x, or forgot to order more stock of a popular polish, or removed acrylic extensions without asking. I purposely paid by credit card bc I'm considering stopping payment if she does not reach out with an apology. 50 euros for a bad attitude and a cut finger?? I hope her lack of customer service doesn't put the staff out of work, bc they all seem very sweet. read more

The girls here our great. I am from California on vacation for two months. I found this on yelp and the reviews sent me here. They did a great job on my acrylics and my gel pedicure. I'm actually very surprised at how good the reviews were of this place and how unimpressed I was by my experience. I went in after seeing all the great reviews and actually canceled my appointment at my hotel spa thinking this would be cheaper. When I made the appointment I asked the lady how much for gel manicure. I specifically said gel manicure. She said 30$ The salon was pretty clean and the women were medium friendly. The lady doing my nails actually cut my middle finger which honestly whatever, it happens. The frustrating part was at the end she charged me 55 euros. When I looked at her and said I was told 30 on the phone she said that was only for the gel. I honestly feel like I may have gotten taken advantage of. So just be sure to ask the price before you get the service there. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! I've been getting my nails done every three weeks for 5 years and this would have to be the worst place I've ever been. All I wanted was infills (Acrylics).. to begin with she cut my cuticles down so far that I was bleeding in three places.. didn't get an apology once. Then she started filing them down and literally filed Down the skin on my fingers to the point they started stinging and bleeding.. again.. no apology. She also started swapping nail tools with the girl next to her after they were used?? So I'm probably going to get an infection.. ugh. Then finally after being in a lot of pain she was finally finished and charged me $60 euro ($100 aud) FOR INFILLS!! when I've never paid more than $30 euro ($50 aud) in my whole life. They rip you off, they cut you to the point you bleed... and charge you double what they should. DONT GO HERE! read more
