I've been seeing Lana exclusively for over a year and a half now, and I'd never trust my hands and feet to anyone but Nails 4 You ever again. I continually receive compliments on my nails. They last over two weeks. I absolutely love the hombre. Also the classic French almond shape. My nails even became healthy again in their care. Lana always fits me in, connects with me, makes me feel like the best version of myself. Two beautiful thumbs up and all the stars to this hidden gem in Los Gatos! Lyn does the best pedicures... in fact she literally saved my life when I was developing an ingrown toe nail she fixed. I recommend this salon to anyone. They also have a wonderful lash consultant. I wanted to try a new nail salon that was local and found this place on Yelp. Came in on a weekday and was told it'd be about 20 mins before they can do my pedicure, I decided to just wait it out. It ended up taking an hour before I got started. The lady was nice and provided the service as requested. Although I'm disappointed that my gel pedicure didn't last as long as it has at previous salons, also never had my nail polish split down the middle. The equipment is pretty run down and kind of dirty. Maybe I would return if I couldn't find anywhere else but it wouldn't be my first choice. read more

I am very confused as to how this salon has 4.9 stars. The place itself is not clean and the pedicure chairs are literally falling apart. The arms are peeling and the massage function was so bad I just wanted it to be turned off. The remote for the back massage was broken and it was probably the worst and sloppiest pedicure I have ever had. Lana was not very friendly to me at all upon entry and was on her phone a lot making and taking calls while doing my manicure. I wasn't offered water or tea until I was coughing and had to ask for some. Their pricing used to be cheap, which might justify overlooking all of the other shortcomings, but the "new prices" are the same as every other salon I've been to. Staff are friendly but the service they gave me earlier was not I expected since the area is really nice its Los Gatos area. I dont know if they judge the service because how I look or how I dress but that I dont know. Ill leave it at that. But I paid and gave tip even if I didnt like it. Didnt even bother to fully remove my old polish didnt even bother to remove dry skin. I paid extra for callus remove but its like it was fast which i can just do it on my own. And you would see the nail polish its not well put on .. so i dont know if they just wanna get it over with. It's been a bit since I've removed my acrylic nails, so my real nails underneath needed some work! Between the peeling and dryness, my actual nails required some work, and my nail technician knew exactly what to do. I appreciated the gentle care and attention to detail when it came to fixing my nails exactly how I wanted them. I ended up doing a milky nude and clear top gel to clean up my natural nails while also being ready for travel! The environment was relaxing, with classical piano music playing, and everything was very clean during my visit. I really appreciated how quickly they were able to see me, and how great communication was when booking an appointment. Overall, my manicure looked so nice and I've received many compliments! I like this place because the girls who do nails are competent. Both Kat and Lana are great. I've noticed that massage can be a bit hit or miss. Actually I've never gotten a great massage here but they do a great job with nails. I noticed other reviewers mentioned it too - the massage chairs are peeling and falling apart. I can barely feel any difference even when the massage is on and the peeling leather doesn't feel good. They should definitely upgrade the interiors. read more

Friendly staff and fairly clean environment ... however, for $65 for a gel manicure with chrome I would expect a little more attention to detail (a bit messy around my cuticles and the chrome is peeling off and uneven/streaky on multiple nails only 3-4 days after getting the manicure). I started coming here in the last year after moving here. I tried a few other salons, and none compare to Nails 4 U. They have everything you need from basic polish to intricate nail design WITH OPTIONS. Other places have lots of dip powder with only like 20 gel colors to choose from. Nails 4 U has so many colors for both dip and gel. While it is a smaller salon, it is very clean and welcoming. The three women who work there are kind, funny, and can have a real conversation with you. Both Kat and Lana do fantastic work and are always learning how to master new nail trends. You can go in with a picture of a color or design and they'll do it for you while making it unique to you. They can look at a picture and know exactly what they have that matches. They truly are artists and I cannot recommend this place enough. read more

5 stars, in my book, should only be reserved for exceptional places, and this place is definitely more of an ok (3 star) place. The good: -The cheapest place around for a gel mani -Pretty easy to get an appointment -Plenty of parking around -Decent amount of color options -Lanna can do wonderful designs -One nail tech, didn't get her name, was very sweet and kind The bad: -The cleanliness of the place is questionable. I saw thick layers behind the pedi chairs, and the tables were not very clean either. When Lanna took off my gel, she didn't put any towel underneath so everything fell down in the carpet flooring. Didn't see any vacuum around either. -The entire place is dated. The pedi chairs were very scuffed/peeling and so were the chairs the ladies sat on to do our pedis. Some of the paint was peeling. It definitely doesn't look nearly as nice as the pictured they posted. -The products they use are not spa grade but rather bath lotions from bath and body works and scrubs/creams that they use are single-use packets of no-brand products you get at retail store. -Lanna, while good at her job, was not very friendly. She also didn't use any cuticle solution when we proceeded to cut the cuticles on my hand. huge no-no -My gel pedi that I was charged over $40 bucks for, started to chip 2 days later. -Their deluxe pedi is not worth it the price they charge. You get a better one from a place down the road for a similar price. If you're looking for a budget option and are willing to overlook all the issues above, this might be a good place for you. For me, a visit to the nail salon is about relaxation and pampering, and I definitely didn't get that there. I'll rather spend some more $$$ and treat myself to a proper place. I wish them the best, but this isn't the place for me. read more
