I started with Linda. I asked her to file all of my nails down to the same length as my one short nail. She filed my nails but she didn't shorten them. I gently requested that she do it over. She got frustrated and said she wouldn't help me and that the owner would do my nails. What an immature response! The staff is extremely friendly, which makes me sad to write this! But the service is very slow. Unfortunately, this is one of the most dirty nail salons I've ever been to. They do not sterilize any of their equipment, I am very nervous I'm going to get an infection on my toes because of it. They used the same tools on everyone & do not clean out the pedicure bowls. I went here for the first time yesterday. I've had my nails done for over 20 years and know what to expect. This was the most filthy nail salon I've ever been in. The acrylic "protectors" for spit i guess leftover from covid were literally covered with spots of who knows what. The arm pads had spots of polish and dirt and coffee spills? The man used an air blower to clean off nail filings and blew them directly at me. He used old filling utensils, clippers. I did not see any sterilization equipment anywhere. The floor was filthy. I had asked for a basic mani pedi combo with gel polish. I told him no massages were necessary because i didn't enjoy them. He did zero trimming of cuticles and just a tiny amount of pumice stone on feet. No soap was used anywhere. The application of polish quality was akin to a home job.... and the uv lamp he used was broken so to get it to work he had to rest it on the arch of your foot. The heat burned my skin. I was there less than 20 minutes. Cost was $80. I put all my clothes in the washer and immediately took a shower when i got home. Won't be back. And yes... you only hear cash only as you get ready to pay. Cheapskate.... are you doing tax evasion? I did not tip. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! It's dirty, especially in these times. The owner is rude. He did my nails and pedicure and it was a quick piss poor job! I have never received such a fast gel manicure, which turned out crappy, sides not painted, too much polish at tip of nails. Pedicure was $30 for a regular pedi...WOW! Not even a decent massage on legs, feet or (arms for that matter on mani). I feel like he was rushing to watch football. Also charged $3.00 for thongs. There are much better places than this in CDA. I used to come here a few years ago. Loved it. The gel mani I got recently was just ok. Nothing spectacular. 4 days and there's major chipping and lifting of the top coat. Not happy with the job the guy did on my nails. I got a solar fill. He insisted one of my nails had to come off, so removed the product then globbed gel on my natural nail, did not use a tip, and charged $3 more. He didn't get all of the polish from around my cuticle area off. I took pictures but it's hard to see the bits of polish so I won't post them. I'd asked him to look at the shape of my nails before we started and said I wanted them the same shape. When he started filing them almost literally into squares, I said I wanted the edges rounded a bit more. He proceeded to make my pinky nail almost pointy! I didn't let him polish my nails. I shaped them and polished at home. The ladies at this salon seemed to have appointments scheduled so maybe they were better than the guy. I usually pay $12-15 for an outstanding fill in Austin so being charged $19 plus $3 for this lousy fill seemed high. It wasn't as bad a price as the "Spa" I walked into in the same shopping center. First of all, everyone was very nice, however the basic pedicure, at $27, is a rip off. The guy was totally "phoning it in" when it came to the leg/foot massage part, mostly interested in what was on the tv behind me, I would describe it as more "distracted rubbing" than massage. The gal who did my friend, however, really gave a nice foot massage. The nail polish job wasn't great, either. The whole experience was worth maybe $15 read more

Took my daughter here yesterday. Because she's 12, they said they had to charge full price but only gave her a kids peticure! They may have spent all of about 10 minutes on her at most. If I'm paying full price, they should spend that amount of time and effort no matter the age. They spent close to a half hour on me. When I stood up I realized my toenails were cut crooked which is fixable but she had a bad attitude when I asked her to fix them. The place is very outdated. They never told me the wait time (which was 40 mins) had to ask after sitting there a minute because they acted like it wasnt going to be very long. I will honestly never come back here. I am new to the area and this is close to my house so I thought I'd give it a try....worth me driving somewhere...got shellac on my nails the first time I was in and was told they don't do a base coat...2 days later totally chipped. I have NEVER had shellac chip that fast or without a base coat in 2 years. Gave them a chance on pedicures 2 days later...don't even...it's one of the most expensive basic pedicures I've ever had; basically just put my feet in the water and slapping polish on. Their "deluxe" is basic at every other salon. I'm not difficult by any means, when I asked to fix my nails because I was lied to about the base (because they put it on my shellac toes) he said it was "impossible". Bull. I had to wait two weeks to get in. When I got there she started working on my nails and I already lost three nails and I lost another as she started working on me. Never in my life have I had such a terrible job done to my nails. I went in to get a fill and the woman was polite but didn't file the acrylics properly, leaving them bumpy and far from smooth. Three hours after getting them done one nail snapped off simply from opening a granola bar. I went in the next day to get it fixed and the man who did it tried to make it my fault because my nails are pointed and not square. He didn't bother to shape the nail properly, so it is totally rounded and the wrong length, didnt bother to apply a clear coat, and then still tried to charge me. I loved how Lam did my pedicure! Although it can be a dirty place sometimes/rarely. I still enjoy being there because of Jon's hilarious jokes. Lam is an amazing person to find an do your nails. I've been going to this salon for almost 10 years. Haven't always been pleased with my nails but it was a convenient location. The owners, Lam and Jonathon were friendly. Since I became a snowbird the reception has definitely changed for the worst. I'm required to wait no less than an hour, and receive minimal service. Jonathon even stated in my presence that year round residents receive priority treatment. Time to find a new salon that appreciates all their clients! read more

I've been to this location maybe 10 times in the last 10 years...the customer service is great...they're very kind...but the prices are extremely steep while the quality is less than average. My mother and I walked out with a bill of over 160 for two gel pedicures and one set of French white tip acrylics. The nail polish on my toes wasn't even fully removed...you can still see the original color under my French pedicure...not pretty. Definitely left with that buyers remorse feeling ugh. read more

Wanted to get a cute color to support my favorite NFL team. They did not have a wide selection of colors, so had to settle with different colors than I wanted. Wanted to do a sparkle fade and the lady had no clue how to do it. All she did was put glitter on the bottom half of my nail and called it good because she claimed my nails weren't long enough. When I tried to tell her I wanted it to fade, she put a couple more globs of glitter on the top half which looked awful. Had to change the color and do full color instead. Paid $75 for a pedicure and manicure! Then got home and she had put the gel color on too thick and off the side of my nail which started to hurt because it was digging into my skin.
