They used a clear hard gel out of a little black container. It was amazing because I had a broken nail of my own that the gel completely fixed/hardened. Paid 145 for the service +plus tip. It was base $75 (I thought this would be $55 because I booked my appointment online and that's what it said) +20 for French, +20 for chrome, +20 for flower, +10 for removal of what I had coming in. After she looked at my lashes she said they were too short and suggested I could get a refund from Groupon even though she redeemed the voucher. The whole process just took 20 minutes and the results were terrible. One side didn't lift at all, and the other side only had a slightly lift that didn't even last an hour. Shaping wise, not even and I still have bits of cuticle stuck on my nail - even though I paid extra to have them removed... The overall vibe of the salon is a little older and aged. Gets the job done, but was painful and not too thorough.
