I got a facial here recently and loved it so much, I know exactly what I'm going to gift my mom for mother's day! The prices are pretty standard which I like and I like the vibes, it's a well maintained space which is always a plus and welcoming for clients. I booked an appointment over the phone for a Sunday. My aesthetician started off with a consultation and analyzed my skin and suggested what I should get. I really enjoyed my experience- it was a relaxing, calming and soothing facial and of course my favorite part was the mask at the end followed by a massage. My main goal was to clean out all my pores because I had just gotten back from a music festival in the desert and she was able to do that and left my skin feeling cleansed. It took around 1hr 20 min. I also did eyelash extensions. Celina was fast at doing it. Only took 1 hour from start to finish. One of my eyes had more eyelashes than the other because the other was watering so she was putting more lashes on the other eye. I felt there wasn't much eyelash extensions on both eyes. Overall my experience was good, the only complaint I have is the staff chatting very loudly. The sound reverberated through the room because the door was open and they have floor throughout. As a tip staff should go into a room and talk since it put a dent into me really relaxing. My acupressure massage was good so that was nice. read more

I haven't had a facial in probably 2 years and desperately needed one so I booked the the Hydrafacial Platinum with Annie. The place felt very clean and relaxing, and the service was immediately really friendly and welcoming. Annie was so kind and easy to talk to. The lymphatic massage she gave felt so good but the extraction part was painful. She did warn me ahead of time. Pain is normal and okay with me because I told her I wanted to make sure my face was CLEARED up from all the blackheads and milk spots. She tried to be as gentle as possible and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. She finished the extraction part pretty quickly so that was good. :) One thing I was surprised with is the LED part because it was SO bright even though my eyes were covered. My eyes took a while getting used to that but after a few minutes I was fine. Annie made sure to check up on me and was willing to shorten the time if my eyes couldn't handle it. Thanks Annie! The only part I wasn't completely satisfied with is I still had a few white/blackheads on my nose that I had to clear out myself after going home. My pores aren't super huge so she probably didn't see it or felt the need to clear it out. This is just me being a nit-picky and like to get up all close in the mirror so it bothers me when I see it. Overall though, my skin is feeling so nice and the extraction areas are healing up so quickly and nicely. I would definitely come back here again for Annie. :) read more

I stumbled upon Oya Beauty while I was next door at Tastea. While passing by I saw their sign for cupping, so I went inside to inquire for more details since my mom has been interested in cupping and I haven't been able to find a good spot relatively nearby. They offer fire cupping here for $40 for a 30 minute session. I'm intentionally mentioning the fire method because I feel like it takes a higher skill level than the modern cupping with the rubber pump that creates the suction. That night I told my mom about it and she was excited to check it out. I called in to make an appointment and they had an availability the next day. We arrived early to fill out a quick waiver... you know... you're going to get cupping marks, don't freak out type of thing. For my mom's cupping appointment, Andrew was the cupping specialist. She received a gown that opened on the backside for the cupping purposes. Andrew was very methodical and had great technique. He planned each move before he placed it and it looked like a nice configuration. They played really nice relaxing Chinese string instrument sounds and Andrew sets an alarm for 10 minutes and leaves the room. The part that surprised me and impressed me was when he came back to gently remove the cups... He actually did another round of cups in between those initial cups. This is good value!! So another round of cupping for another 10 minutes. After the second round of cups were carefully removed, Andrew also gave my mom a mini massage to kneed out the bruised markings and promote circulation. My mom felt a lot more relaxed after the treatment and already wants to come back. We're trying to convince my dad to come along to check it out next time. Went at 2pm on a Sunday and when I arrived, I filled out a short form and waited for less than 10 minutes. Free parking available. Great experience! Making an appointment was easy. The staff was friendly and experienced. The facility was clean and the level of expertise on the facial massage was superb! I had learned about this spot from an Instagram post that spoke very highly of the spa and it lived up to it! The only feedback I'd have is that I didn't feel like I received an analysis on my skin. I asked a couple of questions during the portion of the facial where the skin is evaluated and I felt like my questions were answered with a nod or uncertainty. She massaged my face, my neck, my upper back, drained my lymphatic system, and extracted my face. I was in heaven! This experience was a facial and a massage all in one. I don't remember every getting this anywhere in the US. I've been getting facials here and in Asia for 20+ years and I swear there has never been an experience like this one! The only down side was the noise in my room. They don't set up the ambience too much; they just dim the lights. There's no relaxing music so I heard every single time the faucet turned on, when the water was dumped in the sink, every footstep inside and outside the room, and any other sound as I was laying on the bed. After a long year and a half of not being able to see Suri, the most professional and kindest manager, was such a pleasure seeing her again earlier in June 2021. I've had facials and many Ultrasonic Cavitation done multiple times since 2019 with amazing results that made my waist lose many centimeters before the Pandemic hit. So I was looking forward to having my lashes done which I hadn't experienced out of the many luxurious Spa services they offer. Called and spoke with Suri to set an appointment to have my eyelashes done for a Classic Set on a Wednesday afternoon with Yumi. Yumi was one of the best eyelash technicians since I've had my lashes done off and on for over a decade now and must say it was done with precise and excellent skills! She is very mindful during the process and it was nice to take a little nap since I'm a busy mom of 2 boys. She did an amazing job and was thrilled with her work so I would highly recommend you book your eyelash extension appointments with Yumi since she is only there on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Recently saw her this past Tuesday on June 22nd, 2021 and we both decided to try the Volume Set which turned out to be the prettiest eyelashes done and was so pleased with her work! I've had plenty of compliments from family, friends, and co-workers about how pretty my lashes are. Took Yumi's advice by making sure to not use oil based makeup remover and to brush them lightly towards the direction where each lashes should face to not have them fall off. Every once in a while I tend to blow dry them lightly after a shower or when I'm doing my skin care routine. Another sweet manager by the name of Celine checked me out and decided to purchase a package since I'll be saving more money and will always have a great rate for my lashes. Any of their packages you can use for facials, eyelash extensions, or the Ultra Sonic Cavitation which I will be looking forward to. I found this place in late 2019 when I got a Groupon for a facial. Glad I gave it a try. The place is really clean, the staff are welcoming and polite. With covid precautions in place, staff are all masked. They will tell you if they have any specials going on but they won't push you to purchase if you don't want to. After my first facial, I got a package of 10 when I saw how much I'd save as a "member" (you become a member when you get a package). You see, there is a regular price list and a discounted "member" price list. I also tacked on a hydro package at a discount. Have been paying in installments - whenever I'm there for a service. The estheticians I've had have all been great. Light with their hands yet skilled at extracting with minimal discomfort. Try them out and see for yourself. read more

Flora is amazing! I've had a few facials from her already and like to treat my family here too. They love their service here too. I get a basic facial and sometimes add the hydration suction add-on. I always leave feeling relaxed and refreshed. My face looks and feels good for days after a session. Flora is very gentle when it comes to the face. She knows where to put pressure and where not to when she's doing the face and shoulder massages. She also gives advice and answers your questions when it comes to skincare. I absolutely recommend her for facials. I'm sure the other services they provide are great as well, but I have not experienced them. The ladies who work the front desk are also so sweet and inviting. They really know how to provide the perfect atmosphere here where it's all about relaxation. I've even fallen asleep here waiting for my aunt during her facial They are always super helpful and attentive, always with a smile. Great energy! I surprised my sister with a birthday facial today and she loved it! Thank you, Oya Beauty :) Selena booked it for us and I was grateful for her flexibility with scheduling to accommodate us on a Friday. It's near my workplace, so it's conveniently located and has an overall calming aesthetic. Cleanliness & friendliness is (almost) everything I look for at a facial studio, and Oya rly did it for me today. The 60-minute rejuvenating facial is pretty standard: double-cleanse, exfoliation, massage, extractions, and hydrating mask. They also carry Valmont & Skinceuticals products, which can be appealing to some (not me lol); especially because Valmont is so hard to find in-person these days... Also, I found out they do cupping too, which I was v interested in, but I couldn't make any appointments bc their cupping availability was only on Saturdays and Sundays, which unfortunately are the busiest days for me at the moment. I hope to try it out in the future if they decide to make it available during the weekdays so I can try in the early afternoon sometime. I usually get 3-4 Microdermabrations /year. I wish I never try this place. This was the worse facial and Microdermabration so far. The lady was lazy. First she only rub my face for 5 minutes at most. Wtf right? It was supposed to be deep cleaning and I came out with left over make up from earlier in the day. (that's after the most gentle dermabration ever) I thought maybe she will do it second time like most place would because I barely feel it, nope! She left me in the room to grab things and came back with mask and I was left with some mask most of the hour. Shitty facial ever. It sad that this place have such nice decor. I still have black heads on my nose.. What kind of facial is this?! Didn't even remove blackhead. I would just call this a mask therapy, not worth 45$ spend on Groupon. Oh I would feel so bad if I paid full price for this... No way! What a waste of $ and time. I had to come home and wash my old make up out And usually after dermabration I will feel some sensitivity. I have my facial done here regularly, my skin has improved a lot, and for the most part, my acne went away completely after a couple treatments, leaving no scars. All the beauticians there are very friendly and professional, making my experience there very comfortable. the place is very clean and organized, i really like the music they put on with the signature scent they have.
