I have been in search of a new salon since my old nail tech moved out of state. If you're someone who gets their nails done regularly like me you build a relationship with your nail tech like men do with their barbers. I seen the good reviews and excellent designs on Yelp for this shop so I was hopefully since the last 2 places I went to I was highly disappointed. I think I found my new nail salon! The salon is beautifully decorated. Very well stocked in so many polish colors. Very bright space with whites and greys, classy setup. When I walked in I was greeted right away. Everyone that worked there if I made I eye contact with them they smiled and said hello. I made my appt a couple weeks prior and I was immediately seated at her station. She introduced herself and right away I knew it would be a good session because she asked how I liked my nails shaped, the length, and design/color. She took her time and continued to ask along the way if I liked the work, which I appreciate because it was my first time there. I had 2 photos of nail designs I asked her to combine for my final look and she nailed it! She even took the time to reshape my nails because the last shop I did not like how thick they were. Let me just say Natalie is the best manicurist I've had in 10 years. I love my pedicure and the attentiveness. She was so nice and listened to my concerns. The vibe is friendly and upbeat. It's very bright inside modern and everything looks pretty new. Love the food on the tv. Felt like I was learning something new. Lots of colors to choose from. I came in to get a pedicure and my feet feel amazing. I highly suggest the cosmic pedicure. My old toes feel amazing and no more ingrown toe nails! I've been to at least 15 different nail salons in the city and I would highly recommend anyone to come to this salon. All the ladies are nice I didn't feel like I was being overlooked. Today was my first time visiting Lollipop Nail Studio located on Craig and Jones next to Dunkin Donuts. I initially wanted a pedicure, but changed my mind and opted for a basic pedicure and manicure. My nail tech today was Yenny, and she was very pleasant and gentle with my services. She made choosing the right type of polish easier for me to decide, as I'm not a regular in getting my nails done and I wanted something that would last and look nice if I'm unable to come in for a while. This is a really nice salon, the massage chair was nice and felt newer, the interior was minimally decorated and there was relaxing music playing at a nice volume. My favorite nail shop. I discovered this nail salon in their first year of opening. Their catchy name "Lollipop" is what grabbed my attention driving down the street. Now I've been coming here for a few years. The owner, Summer is cool, friendly and down to earth. She also does the best nails in the shop. She's very creative and loves when you tell her to choose your design, but of course will do any design you request. Really disappointed in my service from the lady in the back. Came for an acrylic fill and she did gel X, with me even asking her for acrylic - she acted like she couldn't understand me. I've never had gel x in my 25 years of getting nails. She added a sticker on top which was extremely sloppy and bubbly glue. Glue hardened and is all over the edges of my nail, looks like a child. The gem on the sticker wasn't secure on my nail and I told her over and over again. She said she was done. The gem popped off when I put my hair in a ponytail, 2 mins after leaving. At the front Kelly offered for me to come back and she'll fix it, which I really appreciate. Not sure how I feel about returning. read more

Having to update my review to one star breaks my heart. I booked an appointment & was treated like a nuisance. When I arrived, she kept saying it was for a different service & also called me the wrong name several times. After being sat down 10 minutes after I arrived, the tech proceeded to get up & take a walk in. She said it would only take "5 minutes" & proceeded to take more than that. After about 20 minutes of me sitting there, I got up and left. She then proceeded to make a scene and say I should just wait 5 minutes and she was almost done taking off the ladies nails. I felt very embarrassed, since everyone in the salon was staring at this point. She wouldn't let me leave right away & I had to just apologize & say I was in a time crunch. I have yet to see the wonderful girl from the first day that I ever went, and was told she no longer works there. The last time I came & she wasn't here, I was charged more than what my friend got charged & we received the same service at the same time. I do believe she was the one making it worth going here. Now I feel like this place is very rushed & a bit greedy, because they'd rather stack up on clients than make sure the ones already there are taken well care of. read more

I've been with Kelly for quite some time now and was happy to follow her on her journey of owning a new salon. The salon is beautiful and has a such a clean and luxurious aesthetic. The entire staff is kind and does great work, I love seeing their designs! Specifically, Kelly is my nail girl. She is the best at nails in general, but what I love most is that she took the time to learn my nails and how they grow and she recommended the service based on it. A long time ago, I used to get acrylics and I had such a hard time with it always lifting after 2.5 weeks. From the first time I went to her, she recommended polygel to me and it has worked great. Polygel is a type of overlay she uses on my natural nails and it does not lift at all, especially since she does such a great job prepping the nails.
