Naillywood formerly All Star Nails is the best shop in the Valley! Been going there for many years and they consistently taken excellent care of me. The new decor creates a great vibe. I've tried a few other spots but none of them genuinely care for their clients the way the ladies do there! It's super clean too. Sandy's the absolute best, she pays attention to every detail and makes you feel like your family. My gels are always super shiny, clean and last a long time. @naillywood i would not recommend this place at all. First within 3-4 day of getting a new set of acrylics 2 nails fell off. Not broken, but off in one piece. This week another one fell off. Called the nail salon to see What they could do. Only thing a offered was $5 dollar discount on a new set. Mind you a new set is around $70. What a joke, oh and I called for 2 days and emailed them. Finally got a response and got denied a new set. In email saying their policy is That a customer get their nails done in 2 weeks. Who does that ? Never again !! I booked an appointment for manicure and pedicure. They did only my pedicure and told me they don't have time to do my manicure. They rushed my pedicure . I didn't get proper scrubbing on my feet. Super upset about this place! I had a fresh set and it looked amazing- but the acrylics kept breaking. I went back after 4 days to fix a broken nail. I was charged $6... which is fine but the lady didn't do the best job. Next day another nail breaks. When I went back in the lady who was there didn't seem to want to help. I tried a new place for various reasons. I noticed that Phi had a good rating here close by me so I gave him a try. My gel manicure looks great and I appreciate how he pays attention to detail AND knows English. He is also real careful to put super thin layers on so it dries well and he will add as many coats as you like. All their walls are covered in polish selections too. Ceiling to floor! I had my first experience at Naillywood about a week ago. I was looking for a salon that did acrylic nails and fun painted designs, so I made an appointment. They started me right away when I arrived and were very friendly. I got a pedicure and my friend got a full set of acrylic nails. Both were done expertly. Beau the owner did the painted design on the full set of acrylics and Tim did the acrylics. Tim is meticulous at acrylics, since that first appointment I've been back to have him do my acrylics and I'm extremely happy with the job he did. They're a little bit more expensive than some of the local salon. I normally pay $25 for colored acrylic with Gel on top. Naillywood is $35 +5 dollars for colored acrylic and $ 5 for gel topcoat. Which is almost double the price. I guess I'll decide if I want to go back based on how long they last. But they look wonderful. I had the spa pedicure which was very good, it included a scrub and massage with oil. To tell you the truth I was kind of involved in the magazine that I was reading and I wasn't really paying that much attention. But the design they did was so cute, and I received so many compliments. The bill for a full set of acrylics and pedicure with design was about $70 that seemed very reasonable. I think I paid about $60 in the past at other local places. So definitely in the ballpark. I think Naillywood is a great place to go and Another great experience through yelp!!! read more

Been here twice now and it's officially my new nail salon. I moved to Tarzana a few months ago and tried many nail salons and was losing hope fast. I'm so relieved my search is over!! I really like Helen; she is thorough in everything she does, is really good listener which means she accommodates all of my requests to my satisfaction, and she's gentle!! My nails look good 2 weeks after she does them, regardless of gel or regular. The salon is clean and relaxing; they even prohibit talking on the cell phone during your treatment (high five). The nail polish selection is excellent. The price is fair and totally worth what you get in quality. I have made an appointment both times and came during less busy hours, but if that matters, then I will continue doing it that way. I highly recommend you give this place a try! read more

Horrible experience all around. A few weeks ago my daughter and I each had an appointment to get pedicures and we were both seated and we each had our own technician's and they proceeded to remove our toenail polish (They only removed the polish on one of my feet) when all of a sudden my technician gets up to work on another client without even explaining to me what was happening and after waiting for her to come back and continue on my feet it was 45 minutes into my scheduled appointment so I decided enough was enough and paid for my daughter's pedicure and I left with one foot with my original polish and the other foot with no polish. They didn't apologize or acknowledge the fact that they treated me so poorly. I will never step foot in that horrible establishment again. I have since gone to Tip Top Nails in Tarzana and they are fabulous and treat their clients with dignity and kindness and they do a spectacular pedicure. By the way my daughters pedicure was mediocre at best. read more

To say that Bo destroyed my nails would be an understatement. I came in with long, beautiful, strong, healthy nails. Today, my nails are brittle, super thin, and constantly breaking. He removed my dip powder (which I got done at his salon) by so aggressively drilling it off that my nails literally burned. I told him multiple times and he kept doing it. He charged me $10 for removal even though I got it done there and was getting them redone with him. Then he said he didn't know how to do the same dip powder and we did gel. All of the nails turned brown a few days after, and nails proceeded to break. It will take years to regrow my nails to their previous healthy condition. I am absolutely horrified. read more

I am so happy I have found my new nail salon! Let me just say Ann and Bo are the best! I smiled and laughed the whole time I was there. Not only is the atmosphere so inviting but let me tell you... Ann did the best biogel manicure I have ever had! She is so precise and is a perfectionist in what she does. My cuticles tend to over grow and she was able to clean them up to where my nail beds looked bigger which I absolutely love! And of course the paint job was on point. I also had a gel pedicure which I was so happy with however forgive me I forgot the name of the lady who did them but she was absolutely lovely. Unsanitary. Since getting warts from a nail salon I used to visit with poor cleanliness, I was sure to call in advance to check on the sanitization of instruments. The gentleman on the phone assured me that files and buffers were trashed after each use and instruments sanitized. My nail technician used nail files and buffers which were not new. I asked for new ones, she said they were in fact new. After my nails were done, I watched as she used the same files on the next client. While she did a great job on my nails, I will not return to a salon with unclean practices. read more
