Do NOT GO HERE. If the owner, Ellie, is not giving your gel than it's a waste of time and money. I must've gotten the worst gel in a very long time. The nail polish doesn't even go down to the end of my nails and I can see my own nail through the GEL manicure and it was a pretty dark color. I can't believe how horrible my nails look read more

I have been getting mani/pedis here for year. Since they've changed owners the customer service and the quality of their service has dramatically decreased. Today was finally the breaking point for me. I went in for a mani/pedi, and Sandra did my pedicure. She brought me to the chair for my manicure and I asked if she could just do it, because the other two techs were busy with other clients. She asked and the owner told her no, she had to take the next person waiting on a pedicure (who had come in after me). She went and started that woman's pedicure, and left me waiting on my manicure. ANOTHER client (who also came in after me) asked that Sandra due her manicure as she was tired of waiting and was going to leave. They called Sandra away from the pedicure and had her start on this woman! I pointed out that I'd 1) been there first, 2) requested Sandra do my manicure, and 3) was ALSO going to leave it they couldn't accommodate me. They just stared at me and the owner said she was "almost done" with a gel manicure. (She was very obviously no where near done.) I left, walked half a block and got a manicure somewhere else. What a shame - due to their poor customer service, they've lost a regular client. There are three nail salons in walking distance and 10 more within the mile.Why would I EVER return to Nail Studio when I can go to numerous other places and be treated with much more courtesy? read more

So update now........my sister, my mother and myself made an appointment for 9:30am Friday morning because my brother was getting married that day. We walked in they were practically full and they somehow decided to try to accommodate everyone that came in after us. So having me wait with nail polish remover on my gels for a HALF HOUR doesn't make that half hour go by any sooner especially when I had an appointment and you were taking walk ins. I was legitimately 5 minutes from walking out. An hour and a half for a mani pedi when I had an appointment is absolutely unacceptable. Won't go back now. Don't go here. They reuse tools without cleaning them. Went there for first time and Ellie was doing my nails, saw her reach for the cuticle nipper and there was someone else's debris in there! She hurriedly try to dust it off. When I asked her if it was clean she became very defensive. I quickly got out of there! Gross. read more

Usually the techs do a nice job for the price, but beware when they're busy, backed up, or their aren't alot of techs. I waited 15 mins to begin a pedicure and in less than 15minutes it was over....for 20bucks. Yikes. There were only 2 techs at 330pm on a Monday so they rushed all the other clientele as well. And you know when the techs rush, its sloppy, it hurts and you flinch or get tickled. Not enjoyable. Too many places in town along Springfield to give other salons a chance. read more

Walked in with one adult and 3 girls ages 10-12. There was no one there so they started us all for our manicure pedicures. 2 women walked in who they decided to start on even though the 4 women working there were already working on us. Long story short, after during my gel manicure she kept going back and forth between me and another woman. Typically not a big deal if my hands were extremely uncomfortable under the lights from sitting there for so long. To make matters worse 2 of my girls sat at the dryer for OVER 45 minutes after their pedicure waiting for manicure. We ended up spending over 2 hours here when we figured we would be out within the hour since we were the only people upon arrival. My gel manicure and pedicure cost $50, there was no hand massage, skipped steps, and waiting at every point. Will NEVER go back, will NEVER recommend to anyone. No idea how this place gets business-- no longer shocked they were empty. If I wanted to just paint my girls nails without a full proper manicure I would've done it home. Giving 1 star because 0 stars isn't an option. read more
