I went in for a fill and everything was going good. My nail tech was very nice. But when she started to paint my nails she didn't put a base coat on. Towards the end she had cut some of my cuticle skin off but she didn't cut it off all the way so I just had cuticle skin hanging off my fingers. Literally. I figured she would eventually cut it off at the end or something but I had to ask her to cut it off. She made me bleed on two fingers while she was cutting my cuticles off. My nails are also very bumpy and have hair stuck underneath the polish. read more

Honestly, I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately their gel manicure chipped 3 days after having them done. I went back the next day and they fixed it. They actually said "what did you do?".... Really?? I existed. Lol. On Day 7 another nail chipped and on day 10 the polish peeled off on a third nail all on its own. In my 20 years of getting manicures I have NEVER had a gel manicure this bad. It usually lasts at minimum 2 weeks. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

This place ruined my natural nail. I get my nails done every month and I had to leave after they took the polish off because my nails had deteriorated. Rushed over to Tip, Toes and Beyond to save my nails. They tried to brush it off saying it was normal to bend your nails. I am so upset about this and the horrible treatment. read more

Yes, Yes, Yes! What a great Salon. Rachel did my hair for my wedding and she did a fantastic job...as well my entire bridal party had their hair and nails done and everyone was thrilled. I had a poor experience with another salon in town and I was so unhappy with my nails - They fixed them and made them perfect. I am writing a week later and they still look fantastic. I thought all of their prices were reasonable...except pedicures. Those seemed a bit expensive but were right on par with the rest of Wooster. I am just a spoiled California girl and I am used to cheap pedis. I will say the pedicure looked fantastic. I did not have my toes done but it definitely was the works! On the other end of the spectrum the price for my Updo for the wedding was very reasonable and it looked so great. I have been to salons all over the world, big and small, and this is definitely one of my favorites! read more

EDIT- Spoke with a very pleasant manager on the phone and they are going to make it right. I live out of town, but next time I am here they said they will do my gels again. Will update or post a new review following. --- Let me start by saying it takes a LOT to disappoint me, and even more to make me feel like a Yelp review is necessary. This was the crappiest mani/pedi I've ever had. My nail tech actually said "sorry, I'm a sloppy painter" in the middle of my manicure as gel polish poured on her hands from holding the bottle too far sideways. My cuticles are legit covered in gel polish - not cleanly done. I've never had a nail tech with acrylic nails before and they kept pinching me and getting in the way. In the middle of the rushed pedicure, she kept looking around, yawning, and said "massages make me tired." I've never experienced a mani/pedi this bizarre. I'm extremely disappointed. The most insane things about this is the manicure itself is $20, and a gel polish is $30 EXTRA. We're talkin a $50 gel manicure. I thought that was a joke. That is absurd. Especially done by someone who had apparently never given one before. I brought up the service when we paid ($190 for two mediocre mani pedis, jesus) and they would not refund any part of the cost. The manager offered to fix what was wrong but it is my birthday and I don't feel like sitting there for another awkward hour. I inquired about the $50 gel manicure cost thinking surely the $30 cost of gel included the rest of the manicure (like it does everywhere else I've ever been), but they insisted it did not, so basically the $20 manicure cost is for some lotion and them pushing back your cuticles. I'll go home and file and fix my sloppy nails myself. Will not recommend, will not return. read more

Best place for nails in Wayne County! Great staff, clean and beautiful place and quality work here. You get what you pay for so prices here are on the higher end in the area but it's absolutely worth it. I had a manicure with shellac and it lasted a month- unbelievable! I got so many compliments because the application of the polish was so much better than I've had anywhere else. The owners are friendly and funny and the entire staff makes this an enjoyable experience. Hands down the ONLY place I'll go for my nails :) read more

I brought my mom here for her 79 birthday!! They were very friendly to both my mom and I!! Our gel manicure and pedicures were relaxing. My moms gel only lasted a week so she went back and they did her nails again for free. Great service!! Even though it is a bit pricey, I would definitely come back here!! read more

Very nice people! However i wont be back waaaaay over priced and took an hour and 40 mins for a pedicure and gel mani cure! It was 90 dollars!!!! 48 of which was for a gel manicure... Such a shame because id like to give them my business. I just cant justify a gel manicure in Wooster oh in an average older salon at almost 50 bucks. Pedicure was great for 35 though!! read more

Ive been frustrated with this place for years. I love what they did with the place, although, they are not in the top catigory for nails. Since there is only three nail salons in Wooster the options are slim. Ive been to worse, but definately been to better. By the appearance and prices, the services should be A+ rated. Its worth the drive to go to Brunswick or elsewhere. Seems that my nails are always crooked, and fall off quickly. They don't fall off from the other places I've been. I go here because I have to, not because I want to. Service is just OK, and usually pretty slow. Prices are high compared to other towns. Especially the pedi's. I usually don't leave reviews to places but this is one place I needed to. My friend and I went in about a week and a half ago to get our nails done. We originally wanted to go to Tips, Toes, and beyond, but they had a 45 min wait. We walked into the Nail Spa and we were the only two customers in there. They said they normally do not take walk ins but they would allow it this time since they had some cancellations. We were very grateful for this but the employees kept mentioning it the entire appointment and made my friend and I feel bad for coming in. My friend had asked for a bright summer color for her nails and had requested any color but pink and what color did they give her? Pink. It was more of a coral-ish but definitely on the pink side. I was very impressed with my nails which was a basic French tip and gel. It has only been a week and half and I have 3 nails that are already chipped and one that is completely peeling. Gel lasts at least two weeks or sometimes longer. I am very disappointed that I paid $45 for my nails and my friend who just got a fill on hers paid $70!!! Way too expensive for the quality. If you're looking for getting your nails done, I would go somewhere else. read more

I called for pricing on a Shellac manicure. The woman who answered the phone said $18 for the manicure, $30 for the Shellac. I thought she meant $18 for a standard manicure, $30 for a Shellac manicure - which is a very average price. When I was finished with my manicure, she said the total was $48 plus tax. I was shocked, thinking it was only going to be $30. While she did an above average job (there are a few mistakes, but it's better than some Shellac manicures I've had), no Shellac manicure is worth $48. So - quality was good, not the best. Price is going to be a factor. I will not go here for a Shellac manicure ever again unless I find a coupon/groupon. read more

beware of your wallet...first off there are only two or three places in wooster to get nails done. so this place is way overpriced and had to pay additional 5 bucks when the nail broke after only 9 days. never had a problem with breakage at their competitor (tips toes & beyond). people giving this positive reviews must be cray cray or never went anywhere else. read more
