The kid has a great head of hair and he's starting to notice his apperance and girls, so I figured it was time to let someone who knows how to cut mens' hair get after him. And that's what I did. I asked the barber for a fade and showed him a picture of one from the web. When he was all done, my son's fade looked great. He was happy with his do and so were we. I'm sure we'll be back for another fade in about a month. I enjoyed watching the Guardians playoff game while getting his hair cut.

Very quick to abrasive "first come first serve and cash only", when I asked y_If they took kids, he pulled no punches in letting me know "hell no", "everything to keep them out". When she was cutting my hair she did the sides fine. When we got to top she started cutting way to much off, she made a weird spotty part of it and very choppy on top. I haven't had a worse haircut in my life then what I did at that place. She ruined at least a month of my look because of that haircut. She cuts way to short and doesn't know how to follow basic instruction. If you want to have the hair cut you want steer away from this place and don't waste your money on this crap shot. My mom is a (retired) beautician, so full disclosure, we've never had to go anywhere other than the kitchen for haircuts, highlights, color (or MAYBE at her salon a LONG time ago, but all I remember sweeping, cleaning combs n perm rods and doing reception!). Whenever she has to go get new body parts and can't cut our hair for a while, we're like "uhhhhh, shoot". It was a blast having an outsiders' view of a salon and not having to sweep though! LOVE what they've done with the location. They put a lot of work into making it something cool, different - not your grandpa's barbershop. Lots of attention to detail, funky art and decor, cool rainbowing on the chrome. My son had the curly-gurl - Olivia/Liv I think? Owner/co-owner I believe? Great stylist. Really good at getting him to open up about his preferences (11-y-o boys aren't always in-touch w/ that yet, still figuring out WHAT they do/don't like, and moreover, the ability to articulate it!) and didn't rush him or the cut, even though there was another client waiting for her apparently! We couldn't even tell! Only suggestion would be some little "extras" - the "creature comforts" if you will - having some drinks, even if it's just a pitcher of ice water w/ lemon and a pot of coffee. Also, they had a TV, but it wasn't turned on. Salons, dentists, and car repairs - I feel like you gotta have a TV on, even if there's no volume, just something to stare at.
