First time (and last time) coming to this salon. I'll start with the pros: nice new place. A lot of…read morepedicure chairs as well as manicure stations. Modern booking system. Booked online and checked in upfront on their IPad. Once in the pedicure chair I was asked if I wanted something to drink by the man who sits upfront. Very nice to offer, I declined. The cons: while in the pedicure chair I got the inclination that the technician was very new or just very bad. I've been getting mani/pedi for over 30 years and it's normally a long string of paper towel/ tissue weaved in between your toes. She broke off individual pieces for each toe, barely separating them. I came in flip flops, but she put the store cheap ones on me. I tried to explain but she said "no English" so fine, waste flip flops on me for 30 mins. Then came the manicure. Basic mani not gel or dip. She puts on 3 coats. Again, maybe this is something new that I'm not aware of but almost always it's 2 coats. She finishes, rubs my forearms with lotion then grabs a hot towel to rub my arms and..... my wet nails. Rubs them. Clearly they all smudged. I told her just to take it off and I'll do it myself but a woman next to us with no client at the time saw and stepped in saying I can do it quick for you. And that she did. Her quick version was better than what I would do at home (maybe) but was clearly rushed and not worth the $25 they charged me for it. There are enough nail salons in Mt Pleasant that I'd say don't even bother with Sweetgrass

I've never had to wait. The techs are very nice and polite. I love the plastic covers they use for the foot basins. All instruments come from fresh, sealed sanitized packs. They are very thorough and constantly ask if everything feels ok. My last visit was my favorite. I didn't catch the young man's name but he was extremely thorough and gentle. Because of this, the timeframe to get my nails redone came and went so I went here just to get a quick and simple gel polish to hold me over. They took walk-ins which was convenient for me. There was only two other people in the place and the staff was very welcoming and inviting. The store itself seems clean from a distance, but up close in the chair it was clear that they're reusing tools and sanitation is not their top priority. Everything had a coat of white nail dust all over it. My nail polish chipped within 24 hours and within three days was starting to peel completely. I would not come here again as I expected better results even from a simple gel polish.

He asked me if I could be there in five minutes, and I said of course. I had nine people ahead of me, and it was already after 7 p.m. I could see the tech stylists' faces and tell they were tired. I'm very particular about my nail salon. ENS reminds me of the nail salon I used to go to over twenty years ago--with a modern twist! ENS had the same type of vibe. They remind me of Steve and Vivian from ALL Nails many decades ago. The young lady could complete my nails perfectly, even the shape, within 40 minutes! When I drove past the other nail salon, the lady beside me was still waiting to be serviced. I already pre-booked an appointment to be back at ENS in three weeks, so thank you, guys; I appreciate it.
