I do a lot of business. Before I left California I left to do my nails but one just broke. it is very disappointing More disappointing is when you walk into an establishment and because they look at you up and down, decide we're gonna say we can't see you right now. I left my Hotel room in a rush, so I look like a bum. I won't lie. When I walked in the question was what do you need done not hey we're completely booked. Do you have an appointment? Which I already had filled out saying no appointment just a nail fix. When I said, I just wanted a nail fixed she looked at me and said no we have a lot of appointments. Can you come back in an hour in an hour they would be closed. I offered to wait. She said no. The establishment looks nice. They did not smell of Super nail smell and I understand wanting more money for your time. I was willing to pay 4 times the cost if she had only asked. I could see if I came and there was only 10 minutes Left, 20 mins left or even just 30 minutes. however there was almost an hour left.
I wouldn't go back here. My nail tech didn't even clean up under my nails! Not worth the almost $200 bill
Luckily went in around 3 PM and they was able to take me in as I walked in. First I asked for gel pedicure and it was very relaxing . I think my nail tech name was Max . He took his time and massaging my legs was a pretty good 10 min. Then he asked if I wanted to do my nails and I said yes . Why not after growing my thumb nail for so long I finally get to do it. So he ask for gel X and I was like ok sure. Then he ask what style like coffin, square, almond and I said almond but not too long. Because of my job I can't have it too long. But I always go for regular gel manicure and not the hard acrylic style. At least he took his time and make everything look even. I really like the service . I'll probably come back for a color change when it's time . But I didn't realize how much the gel x was.
Needed This Mama finally took a break and treated herself to a pedicure with the extra massage, and bruh, it was everything. The vibes were chill, the aunties were sweet, and I walked out feeling like a whole new wahine. Soft feet, good energy, and pure aloha. 10/10, highly recommend when you need to hit reset.
they r literally shit..they pull their prices out of their ass , and if ur gonna be a nail technician then learn how to fucking use your power tools seriously [i was being BURNT by the 100mph wand filer]. + i shouldn't be asked to TIP either ladies you're doing nails not my heart surgery! + my nails look nothing like my inspo you're better off in your child's play spa
I asked for any basic flower on my big toe, he came out with stickers. He got mad when I asked if he could paint it instead. He scolded me that it takes a long time. Later, after sitting in the fan, I asked if they could put on the top coat because I had to go. A different worker scolded me and told me to let them do their jobs. Why be so rude? All because I simply asked for a top coat? I wish I had a friend with me. It was so unbelievable. I was so hurt by them, i just got up, paid and left. (Without the topcoat) I would not recommend this place. Unprofessional, unskilled and zero customer service. Too bad, because they do the best massage.
Kathy got my nails on point... inspo pic followed to a tea. She was the sweetest and took her time on my full set and pedi.
I love my candy corn nails for Halloween I'm so happy with how they turned out! Cathy did an exceptional job. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she delivered. Super focused and quite the artist! I only get my nails done occasionally but Nail Pika has never disappointed. It's always clean and the staff are professional and accommodating. I added a couple of photos from previous experiences as well- an ombre and some pink!
Kathy went above and beyond to meet my nail expectation! I went for a cat eye and she took her time to achieve this look! I love it so much :)
Great Walk-in customer service! No appointment and was able to get a pedicure while I waited for my haircut appointment. Even let me borrow an IPhone charger while there! Basic pedicure with Gel polish (DND#106) with White Pearl Chrome Powder (#2) for $77.
I had been running errands all day and was hoping to add one more check on my list (like getting our nails done), I was glad they accommodated us (walk ins) we only waited for maximum 5 mins, even though all staff was busy with other clients. Amazing Customer Service (Nail Tech- Hana ^_^)....... Friendly, Polite, Patient, Perfectionist, and Quality Work. Im always willing to pay for Quality work. Very Chill and laid back atmosphere 10 out of 10 would recommend.

I did a walk-in and waited probably 30 mins (which I didn't mind) I was taken of care by Kathy & she did an incredible job! She was very attentive to detail & when she or I wasn't happy with something, she would fix it. I made her aware of my concerns of my sensitive skin around my big toe before doing my pedicure (I have eczema) and she was very accommodating & made sure I was okay. Over all 5/5 experience & will be seeing Kathy again (: I left as a very happy first time client! read more

It's been years since I had my nails done, and let me just say that missed the feeling of having them. Kathy at Nail Pika did an amazing job with my Christmas set and definitely made me feel more confident with going back to her to do my new years set. HIGHLY recommend Kathy, she's very gentle and takes her time, my Christmas set took a little longer till after closing and she still took the time and had the patience to finish every little detail. read more

Nail tech was really nice and sweet, although I did get cut from the callus remover which in my opinion did not have in the area that it was used upon. Once she saw blood, she asked me "what happened there? Maybe your slipper you have cut..." I told her no it was from the callus remover. So she tried to stop the bleeding by spraying it with water then applied something on it... For the painting part, I wanted the fading style with black tips.. But got this instead. From far away it looked okay but up close it looked very streaky, not blended and one side was black the other was gray. I was not satisfied at all.. also taking care of my cut that I got, which hurts when I'm wearing socks and shoes for my whole 12 hour shifts. After that experience I went to another nail salon and re did everything, when I went to a second nail salon she cleaned my toe nails really good, showed me all the dead skin that was missed and cleaned under my toe nails. Then got the gel polish removed and repainted. From my experience, I will not be returning. However, the one that did my daughter's acrylic nails and design did a wonderful job. Thanks for that she loved it. read more

The first appointment I made this month was 2 pedicures and I called a day before to make an appointment. Tiffany was very helpful scheduling my appointment, but when we got there to our appointment the next day there were a lot of people and we had to wait about 15 minutes which is not too bad. My nail tech was Cindy and she did a very nice job doing my french toe nails and I like how they came out! Just wish the shape on my big toes matched a bit more but overall great! The price for my gel, french, toe nails were around $54 which was not that bad. My second appointment was this month as well and I made an appointment for 3 manicures. This time I called 3 days in advance and Tiffany scheduled us. When we arrived we were being helped right away and all 3 of us got done at the same time. My nail tech was Tiffany and I got a full set. I did not get my cuticles done nor did I receive lotion which was a bit disappointing. She also told me I couldn't go any shorter than what I have on now, but I've seen shorter. It was ok because they came out ok, just wish they were a little more shorter. Tiffany multitasks pretty well because she does the scheduling while working on a client so just expect her to be taking calls and taking to other clients while doing your nails. She will pause at times when doing so. Overall her service was good. I recommend their services! There may be flaws, but I always enjoy getting my nails done here. read more

Update: Shortly after I wrote my review, I received a message from Tiffany apologizing and offered to redo my nails. I contacted her two days later and she actually was able to see me the same day. Why did I up the review to five stars from three stars? Because she's a great business manager. Not just because of her redoing my nails but for other situations I've witnessed in which she was professional, firm and respectful to all customers (yes, even the rude ones). As she was finishing up, she also shared that if I want when it's time for a refill, I can call to schedule with her. My original review was written with dissatisfaction, this update is because I have a renewed respect for this business. Granted, while technicians all work differently, there are those including the business manager who make sure you walk away satisfied. And I have. So, thank you, Tiffany for reaching out to me. Overall: Customer Service: Professional, Friendly and polite Recommended Technicians: Tiffany, Tina and Vivian (NOTE: There are several others that I did not get their names who do a great job too). Original Post: I've been coming here since last year. Initially, for gelish manicures and deluxe pedicures. They did such a great job and took their time instead of rushing through that a little over a month ago, I opted for new set of gel nails believing it will be longer lasting alongside less pricey to maintain as I used to do gel nails before. I was wrong (with this salon). The first time I returned for a fill, they encouraged me to use resin fill ($10 more than a regular gel fill) because it's healthier and assured me just as sturdier. I returned for a second resin fill two weeks later and it was rushed because a lot of ladies started showing up. Third time was less than two weeks ago for a resin gel fill but I noticed it was applied quickly without thoroughly inspecting how my current nails are holding up. Yesterday, my pointer and middle fingernails on my right hand felt loose. Today, they came off. I am disappointed because I finally had to admit to myself the quality for onwas poor. I'm also disappointed that what I paid for did not last long especially because this type of fill was more pricey than the other type of fills. When I started going to this nail salon, I was full of hope that they would be different. Greater services; no rushing and taking great care of your nails. However, the past two sessions have proven otherwise. I'm sad because the prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly plus I tip so well because of that! Now, I'm once again on the hunt for a nail salon that will not have my nails falling off midway/between fills. Location: Kamakana Alii next to Papa John's Price: Reasonable for all services offered Ambiance: Clean and bright Recommend: I'll leave it to your discretion read more

Wow it's been 3 years since I've visited & i guess they changed their name! I now have a friend who does my acrylics so i only venture off for pedicures. Today around 5pm i walked in for a pedi and i have no regrets. I didn't catch the name of the technician but she was awesome! The pedicures are $30 for basic & $60 for a deluxe. Of course I opted for the deluxe because duhhh our feet are the most important things we use and abuse on a day to day basis so they deserve the absolute best! The deluxe pedicure included a scrub, callous remover, hot wax, longer massage, hot towels and so much more but i was so busy dosing off from the amazing massage read more

(would have gave ZERO stars if I could(pretty sure they use MMA)been to this salon years ago it was decent. went again a few weeks ago with my sister, the tech who did my nails was awesome except I had about 3 nails lifting on each hand after a week assuming prep wasn't all that great. decided to go back yesterday for a new set, told them my concerns about lifting, had a new girl. they charged me $115 for my full set 10 of which was for a "soak off" that never occurred, the tech popped off my old set with an acrylic tip! which rips off layers of your nails. 15 for a manicure, didn't even soak my nails/fingers/cuticles, just drilled it down with the drill. ( don't think that's a manicure but ok) for my sister hers was about 75 just for a hard gel manicure, she asked to keep her natural nail but instead they cut them down and added fake tips! and gave us both nails that we're different shapes and sizes. I also asked for beet root color from dnd not black but nail tech knows best. they ALSO added on $10 for my nails because they're considered "long"? looks short medium to me. long story short won't ever give money to this business again. they were very rude about fixing the issue and offered 54 cents as a refund :) there are much better salons with better customer service! read more
I have to give Nail Pika a 1 due to my most recent experience. I went in today with my family and we all got manicures/pedicures. Set an appointment and took us within a few minutes while we decided on our colors. My past experiences have always been satisfactory and the technicians have usually been friendly. I don't like to complain but I do want to give an honest review. I was quite disappointed with the technician Sofia who did my nails and also with the technician who handled my mothers (didn't get her name). Sofia only asked what color I wanted and also the shape of my acrylic nails. She stayed silent the whole time, even when she had cut my cuticle on my thumb. After she semi completed the acrylics she took me to do my pedicure. Water was nice and warm. As she was attending to my feet, I looked at my hands because it was tingling and noticed blood. I showed Sofia and told her it was bleeding. She didn't apologize or ask if I was okay and just looked at it. Next thing she does is spray water on a piece of paper towel and wipes my finger as it is still bleeding. As she finishes my pedicure, she tells me to wait 15min and then I'm good to go. She was going to take me back to finish my manicure, however I decided to keep it plain and leave it the way it was since my finger was already bleeding. She said okay your total for today would be $77 dollars. Mind you, I didn't even get the gel nail polish yet she still charged me for that. I told her she had cut my finger, so in any way will I be compensated for this? She looked at my thumb again and said that's what happens when you get your cuticles cut and cleaned. I said no that shouldn't have happened and has not happened to me before, so what will be done? Or can I at least get a discount or an apology? She stepped away to speak with Tiffany. Tiffany then came to see me and asked me what happened. I told her what had transpired and I showed her my finger. Tiffany and Sofia spoke to each other in their native language and then Tiffany actually apologizes and says that she cleaned my cuticles and normally they don't do that. I told her I didn't ask for that nor did I ask to be cut, so what are you going to do about this? She asked me, "well what do you want me to do?" I told her that I've been coming here pretty often for the past year, never has this happened, and as the owner how will you compensate for this? And she told me to calm down as I was very calm and spoke very nicely to her, but as a customer I will speak up. She asked if I was okay and I said yes I'm okay, however my finger is sore. If you aren't going to do anything about this, I won't come here again, is what I had told her. She told me to hold on and went to speak with another lady. She offered 25% off. I paid and still tipped them, though I was not happy. What kind of customer service is that for me to even come back? I understand that accidents do happen sometimes but how it's handled makes a huge difference. My mothers experience was very mediocre. She got her pedicure first but the water was cold. She told her technician that it could be warmer but didn't say anything after that. She tried using her massage chair but it didn't even work. She then got her manicure which she was not happy with. It bubbled and the second coat didn't align with the first one. She had nail polish left on her hands, uncleaned. As soon she was done painting her nails, she just walked off and that was it. I thought with a manicure you get lotion and a hand massage? I guess not. I would like to add that my aunty had a great experience. And I'm glad that she did~ I wish you well in your business and I hope there's a lesson learned on how to better treat your customers and also handling these types of situations. I probably would have returned if the customer service was better and more compassionate. read more

I called same day near 1pm on a Friday to schedule for a 2pm and I got in for a pedicure & gel manicure. They take health precautions by taking temp, wiping down chairs, and requiring sanitizer before starting. It wasn't very busy, about two other customers there and it was quiet, with the calming music going. The lady helping me listened to what I wanted and I am very happy with both services. halfway through my appointment it started to get busy and the atmosphere was nice, other customers talking to each other and overall welcoming environment. Only bad was it was kind of hot inside but not a big deal, probably because we were right by the entrance & the big windows with sun shining through. read more

Thank you so much Tiffany & Vivian for taking care of my mom & I!! We loved the service we received and we will be back for sure :) Our apt was at 4 & despite how busy they were Vivian got my mom in a chair at 3:50 & Tiff had me at mine 4 on the dot. Can't speak for my mom but from the looks of it she enjoyed her time. I showed Tiff an "inspo pic" & she gave me exactly it!! I haven't gotten my nails done in over a year, She was very gentle and continuously asked me if I was okay and if I liked how she was doing. Loved her work & professionalism. read more

I came to Nail Pika with my sister today to get our nails and it was a wonderful experience. Jessie did an excellent job at designing my nails. She was very patient and nice. The staff is very friendly and kept checking up on me. The salon is very clean and is a relaxing environment. Unlike other places I've been to, this salon smells fresh and doesn't have a overwhelming strong smell. I definitely recommend this place and I will come back soon. read more
