I have to agree with a lot of these bad reviews. The owner is so rude!!! She never smiled once and yes, they are talking about me for sure in another language. So rude, outdated salon, wait times are ridiculous as they are not organized and also the pricing changes I have experienced as well. Sadly I left with the best manicure ever- is it worth it? I made an appointment for 11am but had to wait 45 minutes for them to actually start doing my nails. I wanted extensions and showed the design I wanted it started off looking great but once she put the acrylic bead or whatever on she didn't even take the time to smooth it out, making it lumpy and missing spots. on top of that the design I wanted was not done well. I ended up paying for it and leaving but I was so unhappy with it so I went back and got her to re do it but she just kept blaming the design I asked for and the products so I just ended up asking for a French tip which she somehow messed that up to. overall in the end the nails didn't even look good. read more

Me and my daughter went to get nails done at this place. I asked if she could do ombré French manicure lady said she could do it. ( showed pictures how I would like it) Once she starting applying the The powder it looked super clumpy so I asked her to fix it she looked surprise what is wrong. After asking her multiple times to fix it. She was closing the salon she looked like she in a hurry next day In the morning me and my daughter went back ( I wanted to talk to the own but she was on vacation)asked to have our nails fixed she said only thing she can do it's to paint them in a colour which I don't like colour on my nails I was going to a wedding that day. The nail club is the best nail place in Collingwood. Ive been to ALL of them. The place is super clean compared to many others. The service is extremely friendly. Janie (pronounced - Jenny) is a very talented artist. The salon is so cute and spacious. French country meets glam lab kinda atmosphere. And pricing is within the norms. read more

I went to have my pedicure and nails done back in the spring March 2020. The owner was nasty and has no social skills. Will never go back!!! The place gives me the creeps. By far the worst salon ever. They take appointments but don't respect them or stick by them. I dropped my daughters off (16 and 14) for appointments they had made. I went back an hour later, they were still waiting. When the owner saw that I was there she then proceeded to put them in chairs but still took another hour. After all that she tried to charge them 20 dollars more than listed pricing. I have given this salon many chances to redeem themselves but it's always the same terrible experience. The salon owner is so very rude and hurtful. She told a young girl (maybe 8 or so) that there are treatments to get rid of all the freckles on her face. The mother was so angry that she got up mid pedicure and left. Disgusting. People need to stop giving these people their money! read more

Paid $50 for them to make my friends toe bleed and claim she had an infection. Not only that but we made an appointment and they didn't help my friend until 30 minutes later. Anti masker also getting her toes done and not one employee said anything. My toes were painted horribly and they rushed my friends to get to the next appointment. On August 9th, I went to the Nail Club in Collingwood to have nail polish applied to my toes (I did my own pedicure as I usually do). The polish was applied very well - no complaints on this part of their service. However, when I went to pay for my application with my debit card, I was told by the person cashing me out, that the transation didn't go through. So she put the charge through again and gave me my receipt. On August 12th, I did some online banking and noticed that there were 2 charges from Nail Club...so the first obviously went through...and I could see no 'refunds' in the pending authorization area. I went to the Nail Club, explained what had happened (thinking that this was just an error - which can happen sometimes) and asked that the duplicated amount be returned with my debit card. The manager came out and said she could not refund the money without approval from her boss and checking with their bank (even though I showed her my on-line banking and she could see the 2 transactions and no refund). She said she could deal with it because she had to leave for an appointment but that she would call me today. Today is the 13th...I went back to the Nail Club and the manager is not in today but I was told I could check back tomorrow. Seriously?? is this how a normal refund is handled?? My bank has now opened an investigation but this could take up to 20 days. The amount is small...but the way that this was handled to me suspect....BE AWARE!! read more

I made an appointment for my 8 year old daughter and her friend for a kids' pedicure. I was told the price would be $25, which is quite high for a children's pedicure. Normally it's just a foot soak, cream and polish for kids. Once we arrived, the girls were brought to a chair to soak their feet. 30 minutes later, someone began my daughter's pedicure but her friend still had to wait another 10 minutes. The girls were disappointed because they were excited to get their feet done at the same time. After speaking to the manager, she was not apologetic in the least about the long wait for the kids and about the extremely long foot soak. I certainly would not have brought the girls if I was told there would be a 30 to 40 wait, even with an appointment. The pedicure itself was not appropriate for young girls. They wanted to use the 'cheese grater' type file on their feet and scrub them quite hard. Neither girls have callouses or rough feet! I had to ask them to stop. In future, I will be going to one of the other nail salons in town that honours their appointment times. read more

The worst manicure ever The place stank - someone had reheated rice and fish and it smelled disgusting. The manicure chairs were literally wrapped in saran wrap to keep the seats clean. There was a very elderly lady (90 probably) having a pedicure, when she was done and was leaving, she was wobbly on her feet and cane; they literally watched her fall down rather than offering her a hand. Instead of leaving her lying down and making sure she was ok, they got her to her feet and didn't even tell her son-in-law who came to pick her up. I tried to get his attention to tell him but was unsuccessful. Then the owner came over and said to me her son-in-law was not a very nice man. Huh? The young guy doing my nails couldn't even file them properly; hand massage was sub-par as were the products; he had to redo a nail because he smudged it from holding my hands incorrectly. Literally 24 hours later and 6 of my nails already chipping. When I went to pay he said $13, so gave him $16. He said $13, $13, a couple more times and I said I'm graciously offering you a small tip. Then he said it was $18. So, so brutal - just couldn't get in anywhere else, but will never return. read more

By far the WORST nail salon experience I've ever had. Called ahead and booked appointments for me and my friends. They did not respect the appointments and were full, I sat in a pedicure chair for 40 minutes before anyone even looked at me. I kept asking for them to wrap my nails to remove the shellac I already had on my hands and feet but no one understood. They tried to file off the shellac and scratched me in several places. I had to stop them. Then some else came along to wrap my nails but put wrong solution so the cotton stick to my nails. At this point I had been sitting for over an hour. Then I just asked for all my polish to be removed and was going to leave. The last told me to stay because she could do my hands in "10 min". What s lie, she had NO IDEA what she was going and the colour can't out all uneven. She kept telling me it's because I was moving. Then the language barrier was an issue because she couldn't understand that I wanted straight cut/filed nails. She cut me in several places and when she cut my toe nails, she cut them so short that a few began to bleed. I had to stop her to leave (at this point it was after 2 hours)and then she wanted to charge me $55.!!!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!
