Went there today to get my nails done. There was a child about six or seven playing on their iPad screaming the entire time. He even took his pants down and had no underwear on and was running around in front of an old lady. The woman who did my nails was OK, but her hands were shaking so much that when she put on my French tip nails all of them were uneven. It cost $56 to get my nails done and honestly they don't even look that great will never go here again and won't recommend this to anyone else as my nails don't look as good as I would want them to for $50. read more

the one nail tech a had was extremely rude yanked on my arm and twisted it. i still had two acrylic nails on and she pried the one off without listening to me that i was in pain because of it. the second nail she tried to get off would not completely detach so she shaved it down a little bit but left most on my normal nail and just added the new nail on top. left busing on my finger and almost bleed. being there made me feel like i didn't belong or i was to needy with my request for my nails. the environment was non-welcoming. read more

If I can give this no stars I would. Called and spoke to the owner Kevin. He is always so accommodating. He got me in ... sat me down. His wife Mya did my so called manicure. I watched her as I sat down for at least 7-10'min doing her own manicure. Awkward to say the least. Once she became available, I wanted a manicure on my stubby natural nails. I was looking forward to soaking them and making my hands happy. Not today! Manicure lasted 11 Minutes start to finish. No water to soak . Just cuticles, file 45 seconds !!! And buff then clear polish went on. I have short nails but I was looking for an experience. With arthritis in my hands I wanted to pamper myself. Nope ! Then after those 11 min I get transferred to another table to dry and get told Kevin will massage my hands. Yeah no, there was no experience this was not a manicure and I have had a lot of them. Mya was on to another lady. So I was fit in and rushed. Then I let Kevin know of my experience and he took off 5$ so I paid $33 for 11 min yes 11 min from start to finish. When I left there I drove to another nail place to enjoy myself. Will never return. Also... I'm in the service industry myself. And I would never let a guest leave unhappy. Number one ! And number 2, next time you are in this establishment take a look at the cleanliness, take a look at the owners station. Gross! Filthy!disorganized. Ohhhh well... lesson learned. read more

Interesting experience. I would say I'm providing a mixed review - between 2 and 3 stars. Seems like a very family oriented business - which is kind of nice! There was a toddler running around. A little unprofessional but charming as well. The entire staff was Asian -run. Again - very family oriented business. Very hard to understand the staff. They hardly speak any English and speak Asian to their friends while they provide services to English speaking customers. A little awkward. The service was not very personable. No conversation between me and the staff. I tried to make conversation, but proved to be challenging. They are just not really concise enough in their English to communicate effectively. There were massage chairs - bonus! However, considering the experience as a whole, I probably won't return. Sorry. read more

I went to get acrylics and they ended up looking like i did them at home. They laughed at me because i struggled finding a colour i liked because there is not a very wide colour selection. They did not fix up my nails completely before putting on the acrylics. Definitely not coming back to this place it's awful. I've gone to this salon twice. Had a shellac manicure that chipped in a day last year. Was not impressed. If properly done they usually last a week to 2 weeks. I recently went for a pedi mani for a wedding. The polish was wearing off on all the edges a few hours later. I did nothing but put on moisturizer, makeup and wash my hands l. There was no reason for the polish to wear off. I believe they hardly every buy new colours and just keep nail polish thinners to thin their old polishes. I say two strikes you are out and I will never waste my hard earned money on this salon again. I really give you you zero stars! read more

Overpriced. When phone I was quoted $45.00, when arrived was quoted $70.00 When left I was charged $90.00 for myself, 1 set of gel nails with shellac, and toe nails painted with shellac. Went to get my nails done today called ahead and made an appointment.. got there and waited 15 minutes. So the lady puts all my nails on and I asked her to put a little more glue please as they were very weak and seemed they would break easily. Without saying anything she just started ripping the nails off.. leaving glue and half the fake nails on and ripping my skin on my thumb nail because of how rough she was being. I came in for a spa manicure and pedicure and found the service to be very rushed and Overall just a disappointing experience. My nails and toenails looked ok, but not worth the $$ I paid for the service. worst nails ever. i went there to get acrylics and i wanted them to copy off a photo, they never gave me the chance to show them. i just said white tips and as she started glueing on the nails minutes later she painfully ripped them off. she kept stabing me with her nails and hurt my one finger so bad, she bad it bleed (which is fine) but then pressed alcohol in it. they came out pink and look terrible. this is the first time i got my nails done in a while and i was so excited but they look so bad they make me want to cry and my hands are still in pain read more

I had a pedicure at Maya's last week and found staff to be helpful, an overall pleasant experience (other than a screaming toddler when he had his fingers caught in the garbage pail lift mechanism). I returned this week for leg waxing and was disgusted by the room which was filthy beyond words!!! The bed was covered in a cheap plastic table cloth with a roll of paper on top, which looked as though I wasn't the first person to use it. The operator was not helpful. I explained that I had back surgery 3 weeks ago, could not bend and needed assistance to put on sox and shoes...either she didn't understand English or chose to ignore me (my husband helped me when he came to pick me up). When I pointed out that I still had lots of stubble she tried to correct the situation with tweezers. I left with sticky wax stuck to my legs...an overall horrible experience! I only gave 2 stars because the pedicure was ok, otherwise it would be 0. read more

We did not have a great experience at the salon we experienced racial profiling they did not treat us with respect we did not proceed with the service we wanted because we were NOT greeted or acknowledged. I reached out to them via email to report the incident, the manager responded with lots of excuses and justifications and did not rectify the situation and basically dismissed our concerns and in his words "it happens" and he then went on to ask if we were wearing hoodies? (Why does our clothing matter?) mind you it took place on a HOT August 16 afternoon. I highly do NOT recommend this place at all. read more

Absolutely terrible! Came for a shellac manicure was finished in 20 minutes. Cut the skin at the top of my fingers to the point where there were chunks of skin missing at the top of my finger. Nail polish was not even. Lady who did the manicures looked like her hands were 100 years old, would've felt more comfortable with her wearing gloves. Overpriced. Have been twice. First woman was very nice. But only two coats of shellac, chipped easily. Vowed not to go again but nothing else open on Sunday of long weekend. Lady reprimanded me for taking off my own shellac. Yelled at me to "RELAX!" about 10 times when my hands were too tense. Seemed frustrated and annoyed with me the whole time. When I asked for shellac mani and pedi she said "you KNOW it's $87 for both shellac right?" (Like I could afford $67 but not $87??!!) OK, fine I guess you don't want to do shellac on my toes, just polish then. Asked for 3 coats of shellac for mani (as is norm everywhere else I go)- she made it seem like a huge deal. Back door open, flies buzzing around me the entire time. Classic tax scam of charging no tax if you pay cash (yet all of us as tax payers are paying for it when businesses work "under the table". ) Try Tracy Nails instead (or anywhere else...) read more
