How about the sign out front says "No children allowed." As if being a single mom isn't stressful enough, now I need day care to get my nails done? WHO DOES THIS? There is a suggestion to "leave my child home" on sign. Great, I'll just leave my five year old unattended while I get my nails did in a wicker-diseased 80's style salon. One look at sign and I knew all I needed to know. read more

I went to a blonde woman who works there, said she was also a guard at a jail or something? She made getting my nails done extremely unpleasant. She gave me attitude when I would change my mind and all the nails she did would fall off just days after getting them done. Not to mention, my nails were really thick and gross looking. HORRIBLE customer service. read more

STAYYYYY AWAYY A few weeks ago my friend and I went to Nail Biz to get our nails done. The ladies, Nancy and Dawn, were quite nice. However, it took them 5.5hrs to do our nails (this is NOT AN EXAGGERATION). Our appointment was scheduled for 4:45pm, for which we arrived on time. Yet, we did not leave the salon until 10:30pm. Never in my life have I spent more than 1.5hrs getting my nails done. In addition, the nail techs, Nancy and Dawn, assured us that their products were of the highest quality as they used only American products as opposed to international products. Yet, you can imagine our anger when the nails started to fall off after only 1.5 weeks. As compensation, Nancy gave us certificates to come back for free pedicures. However, the expiration of the certificates expired a short ONE WEEK after the were made redeemable. I have never felt so taken advantage of before this experience. Unless you have 5.5hrs to give and $45 to waste on a cheap set of acrylics, my suggestion is to find a more professional salon. You deserve better. read more

Love this place. Have been going for years with friends on an annual "girl trip" to Cedar. We always have a fun experience & get great nail art on our pedicures. They even posted our "toe pics" online this year. Ha! Love them! & I also got a skirt for $4. Can't beat that! read more

I went in for a mani/pedi on a Friday and by Monday the polish was flaking off badly. It would appear that Nail Biz needs new polish. My mani bubbled up within hours, showing it was old polish. I asked for a gel mani/pedi, didn't get any gel on my toes, and I am not convinced I had a gel top on my fingers....even though my hands went under the UV light. My mother in law said "You paid for that? It looks like you did your own nails" ....so I don't think I'll be returning. read more

I made a same day appointment for an hour after i called. The guy on the phone was super nice and set the appointment. I got there and was seen shortly after my appointment time. The lady that did my nails was Nancy. She was so nice. The whole time she was doing my nails she made sure everything was exactly as I wanted it, every step of the way. She told me that if anything happened with my nails to contact her and she would fix it. I can not wait to continue to get my nails done there. They are nice, clean, and do really good nails! read more

Worst salon experience I have ever had. I am not a confrontational person, but the color she gave me was nor what I asked for or the design. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my nails done before she did them. It was terrible. I had to go home and file them since she didn't. Also the color wasn't solid it was spotty and patchy. Easily the worst experience I have ever has getting my nails done. Will not be going back. read more

The staff was friendly but OMG I've not had a worse pedicure. My heels needed attention and I told the tech that, fully expecting her to get out the 'cheese grater' tool they use. Nope. She used what looked to me like a regular old emery board. Did not come close to getting the job done. Not even close. I also assumed this would be a spa pedicure. Wrong again. Just an odd plastic pan you put your feet in. And afterward they pick it up and toss out the water. Think tossing out dirty dish water. Yuck. Bottom line: I paid $35 + a $7 tip for an awful pedicure. Never again. read more
