If I could give this place zero stars, I would! I got my nails done yesterday, 12/29/21; they charged $40 for FILLS... and these are the worst nails I've ever had! (And I've been doing my nails about 20 years!) I still can't believe it... The polish was applied inconsistent; some nails have less polish, so they're lighter than others. Some are very square, some are a little rounded... and a few are crooked! She also left thick hardened product underneath my nails... they're horrid to look at! And I dont understand WHY people let businesses like this get away with it... thats wrong! I have no problem paying for my nails... but this woman should be ashamed of herself! read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I made three appointments for me, my mom, and my mother-in-law for Mother's Day. We were going to all get gel manicures and pedicure. When we started our pedicures, the nail technicians kept getting up and switching places. My mother-in-law sat so long that she almost didn't get anything done to her toes at all. My nail tech ended up switching her and completing her pedicure because she was the only person that knew how to do gel. The man who did my nails tried to take my polish off with alcohol. He had no clue what he was doing. 100% not a certified nail technician. I will be calling the board of cosmetology to report what is going on in this filthy establishment. DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

I was visiting from out of town and made pedicure appointments for me and my 6 year old daughter for a surprise. The place was nice and the people were decent. However, I paid for an upgraded massage with my pedicure and the massage was just rubbing in lotion (there was no pressure) and it was very short. The paint job was good but only lasted 48 hours! They also charged me the full adult price for my 6 year olds pedicure. I wouldn't have chosen this place if I had known their child pedicure was $35. read more

I booked an appointment for me and my friend to get our nails done, first off I'm not blaming the people for this but I booked me and her a appointment for the same time with different people but when we got there they said that mine wasn't scheduled until 2 hours later. The front lady was super Kind and so was the lady that did my nails, but the person who did my friends nail wasn't straight up rude but we heard her go into the back and talk baldly of us. This was the only place that had an opening for my friends and I to get our nails done. The outside looks nice but the inside (and the workers) are very unorganized. My nail tech split my nail when filing off my gel polish. When I flinched she told me "relax!" and continued to file my now broken nail. She also cut me several times and didn't apologize. Once she was done she says "oh they're short. I see your nail bed". She was talking about the hyponychium, I've never had my nails filed so short. The polish doesn't go all the way to the cuticle either, so it already looks grown out. So they get 1 star for service. But they get another star for taking us as walk ins. read more

My daughter and I took my husband for his first pedicure at CedarCity Nails while we were on vacation. I had arranged in couple weeks in advance for the three f us to get mani and pedis. When we got there we had to wait half an hour even with our appointments. They didn't have our manicure appointments on the books. They did agree to do my daughters nails and it took them less then 15 minutes to do. Needless to say they really just painted her nails, but charged me full price. They didn't have someone available for all three of us at once so my husband had to wait and then we had to wait for him. It was not exactly the family trip we had planned. The prices were very reasonable but I won't be going back on our next trip. Disappointing! read more

I came in on Thursday the 11th, I was told to come at 11:45 am when I called for an appt. for an acrylic nail fill and pedicure with gel polish. I waited until 12:40 pm (55 minutes) before I was finally put in the chair for a 25 minute very basic pedicure. I then was put in a chair for my nails; the lady started them, and I told her I needed to be done by 2 pm for another appt., and she said okay. At 1:40 pm she stood up and walked over to do another customer at the pedicure chair. She came back my way at 2:10 pm, and then finished my nails. Needless-to-say, I was late for my next appt, and the bling was falling off my nails by Friday. I couldn't come back until Monday (today). I came back today, showed the manager 3 of my nails; and how all of the rhinestones were falling off within 1 day, and she said to wait for a few minutes, that they'd fix it right away. I waited 55 minutes... nothing so I just walked out. Very, very poor customer service. Even with a prior time scheduled, they run way late. I feel like they're trying to cram too many people in and instead of them telling me to come back at a better time, they have no regard for a person's time. Appointments mean nothing to these people! Twice I've called ahead and set a time for my fills. Both times I show-up to be told I need to wait for or come back in 30 minutes. They just take walk-ins in place of their appoints and really don't care about wasting your time. Was gifted a pedicure for my birthday. Worst pedi ever. Two days later and my toe is swollen, red, and infected!!! Must have not cleaned their tools well or something. I am disgusted. First off the lady doing our nails hurried me and my daughter in law in picking out our colors for our pedicure. She was hurry, hurry, hurry and we were about the only ones there!! Then she was so fast and rough that she jammed the instrument under my toe nail. It didn't bleed but it really hurt! Worst pedicure I've ever had. Manicurist didn't even trim my cuticles! Place is unsanitary. Told the guy that did my pedicure that I am prone to ingrown toenails, so what did he do? Cut them to be sure in a few days I'll have ingrown toenails. My daughters nails were horrible. I took my mom here to get gel pedicures together before I have my baby. While the staff was pretty friendly it seemed like they were rushing the whole time to get us out the door and the next people in the chairs. They did not clean under our toe nails and did not do any heal scrubbing for dead skin removal. My nail tech also cut into my toe nail so far to "shape" my nails that my skin is now cut and red and pretty painful to the touch. WORST EXPERIENCE AND WIILL NOT RETURN!!!! APPOINTMENT TODAY WITH AUBREY FOR FULL SET OF ACRYLIC NAILS . Was greeted with no "hello" or smile. Girl has no personality!!! Nails look awful. Told her I like square shape but tips she used are tapered and wider near naiil bed. Plus tips are clear and she used pink acrylic, which you can see! So wierd!! My bad for not stopping her before she continued. She missed putting clear polish on half of one thumb and there is a thick spot of acrylic on underside of one nail. To top off the appointment I was charged $10 additional for a longer nail length, but was not informed at start. Charged far too much for inferior workmanship. Really bummed out about my experience here. The women were all super nice, and I feel bad leaving a bad review, but my manicure is really terrible. I got a gel manicure and it took 2 hours. Crazy. An hour was spent just on doing the polish. I thought I was going to die in that chair. For an hour on polish, it's looks really bad. The sheen is dull. The color is bubbled. The entire nail wasn't painted evenly so it has a layered look. If you are in Cedar and want good company, come here. If you want a good manicure...try another on the list -- there are several in town! read more

My sister, my friend and i came here today on appointment and had to wait about a half hour, which wasn't a problem we don't mind waiting. While i got my nails done the lady was very nice but she accidentally cut my pinky and didn't acknowledge it at all just cleaned off the blood and continued. She was pretty rough from that point on. She mentioned that the neon color i wanted cost 5 dollars extra but didn't mention any other extra costs. When i told her what colors i wanted and that i wanted them alternating on each finger she told me that only little girls do that and told me she was gonna just do 2 accent nails. I really like the overall finished product but my friend showed me hers and they were much shorter, thicker and oddly shaped. I would have given it more stars but when we went up to the counter to pay she gave me my receipt and even though the base price was 35 and the neon was 5, it ended up being 75 dollars. When i asked her why it was 75 she said because of the neon and because they were long and matte, which she didn't mention when i asked for them. But didn't give any prices for those and walked away. After talking with my sister and my friend i found out both of theirs were also 50 and 58 much more than the listed 35. read more

NG & CeeCee sure know how to make there customers happy. Show them any design you want and they will make sure your happy with the results. Ive never had a problem with my nails lifting and a pedicure is always heavenly. My 4 year old goes in with me & shes always welcomed and spoiled with stickers or treats. Sje loves to have her nails and toes painted but the polish seems to flake off her little nails for some reason. The group of girls that work here are loud, bubbly and so much fun! VERY disappointed in my experience with this establishment. Made two appointments 2 days prior. When we arrived they did sit us in a massage chair but waited for 1 hour and 35 minutes before someone even started to do our pedicures. ONE lady did both pedicures?at the same time. I was paying for the sugar scrub massage which she did for less than one minute AND she massaged on top of our pants at our knees leaving oil all over our pants! Quickly painted our toes without even doing our cuticles. Paint bubbled because she did the second coat immediately! The manager could see my dissatisfaction and offered to take $10 off of the bill. Service was good here. I got my acrylics taken off, and the gentleman that did it did a good job. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the salon was really dirty. There were all different size nail clippings at the table I was sitting at, which really grossed me out. Nice place, friendly staff. I am very happy with the job they did on my nails today. This is my new permanent nail salon. I have lived in Cedar City a year and a half and up until today did not have a nail person to go back to. I have tried several nail salons in cedar city and they have been very hit and miss. Sometimes the nails would lift, be lumpy, and one of my fill ins they did not file the lifted part enough and filled over it! With pink & white! So the line of air was clearly visible. I am very happy I decided to give Cedar City Nails a shot. I had been to that location when it was owned by someone else and called something else, when I first moved to Cedar. AND today she did a design on my nails! Before moving here I always had a design on my nails. But here every time I asked at other salons they flat out ignored it, I assumed they just weren't artistic like that. So I had just given up on that. Then today she says you want a flower or design? I perk up, yes!!! So I am extremely happy to have found my nail tech in Cedar, and I get designs again! I have even driven to St. George before, and took my acrylics off for 9 months (after having them for 10+ years) because I was sick of the shops in Cedar.
