The only reason I give it 2 stars is because my nail tech was very nice but she just was not good with nails. I believe the manager put her with me to make up for her other employee that was extremely late. When that employee walked in her & the manager (sally is her name) began arguing for about 20 minutes!!! IN FRONT OF EVERYONE! Even the girl who was doing my nails stated how unprofessional the place is. I usually do my own nails at home but for the sake of saving time the day before Thanksgiving my husband decided to treat me to getting them done. I knew that since it was obvious my nail tech was new, I wasn't going to say much about her mistakes as I knew they were things I could fix in my own. But when I in my car I realized there was MUCH more to fix. When I called the salon they refused a refund. Yes my nails came out bad, but I am even more furious with the service & lack of professionalism. Dont be fooled by the pretty posts on FB or Yelp like I was. This place is NOT worth it!!! read more

I went there because my nails were in desperate need of help because they were falling off and needed a fill very badly. Whenever i go to a new nail salon i set my expectations very low from past experiences but when i walked in the workers were very nice and my nail technician was very attentive to what i wanted. Manicures/pedicures have always felt like a luxury to me, so I don't get them constantly, but always get one before going on vacation. I hate needing to pack polish and remover for if my nails chip, so it's nice to have them done professionally beforehand. I have a nail salon I typically go to and love, but they raised their prices and have become pretty expensive, so I thought I'd give a new place a chance and save a few dollars. This was my first time trying this shop and I wanted to like it as the staff were nice (the only reason for 2 stars), but honestly it was just overall a very poor quality experience and not worth the time or money. The shop called me the afternoon of the appointment while I was at work and said they were going to cancel my appointment due to an emergency, asking me to reschedule for the next day. I told them I would not be in the country the next day as we were leaving for vacation in the morning, so I wasn't able to reschedule. They told me if I moved up my appointment by more than an hour they would still see me. I rushed straight from work to get there as quickly as possible. On arrival, the shop felt dirty and poorly maintained. The color choices for regular polish for my pedicure were very limited, and the bottles available were frequently nearly empty or chunky. My nail tech did a poor job of removing calluses and rough spots, legitimately using a nail buffer at one point on the skin on the sole of my foot, as if that was going to remove a callus. She cut my big toenails so short on the sides, it actually gave me an almond-like shape to my big toenails. Not only that, she painfully pulled out "ingrown toenails" (they were not ingrown, they'd just been cut straight across), making me bleed. She then proceeded to place the toenail clipping on the top of my bare foot rather than discarding them! When she finally started painting, I had to ask her to fill in multiple large gaps missing polish at the sides of my toenails. The polish application was messy, thick, and clumpy. She finally moved onto the gel French manicure, which was poorly completed. She remarked that my nail length and shape was beautiful (I'd been growing my nails out and kept them shaped prior to the manicure) and asked if I wanted it changed. I said I was fine if she wanted to just file the nail length down a little bit, but that I liked the overall length and rectangular shape. She proceeded to use nail clippers to significantly shorten and round all of my nails. When she went to apply polish, she actually took one of those mini fine tip nail art brushes out of a colored nail polish bottle and just wiped off the other paint before sticking it in the bottle of white gel polish. The "massage" portion (not that I'd even classify the service provided as such) of both the mani/pedi were each about 30 seconds. Finally, I don't mind a mani/pedi taking a while if the extra time means attention to detail or well-executed work, but the appointment took almost 2 hours and my nails were a mess. When she finally finished, I paid my bill, even tipped her, and got out of there as quickly as possible, already knowing I'd need to redo at least my toenails. I got home to find my toenails clumpy and smudged, so I removed all the polish she'd applied, trimmed my big toenails to a normal shape, removed the calluses she'd missed, and repainted them myself. 1 day later, the gel manicure has also already started to chip. I didn't have the heart to complain, but I definitely will not be back. Hoping I can save someone else the poor experience. read more

Horrible experience. First the color samples weren't actually what the colors looked like on your nails. They continuously wanted to add more dip powder to the nail when it was not needed. Nails are uneven after asking to adjust. Do not recommend. I paid more here than I've ever paid for a dip manicure that looked amazing and was completed much quicker. Wish I didn't waste $100 on 2 people. read more

Everyone here is great. My first e experience here was great. I took my 6 year old daughter here to get a mani pedi as a late birthday gift. "Hot Mama" did her pedi. She was so sweet and gentle ans still did a great job. My daughter usually doesn't talk to people she doesn't know but half way in she was holding full conversations with "Hot Mama". The owner's son Jeremy did a cute tiara design on my daughter's tiny toe nails. I got a spa pedicure from Fee and it was super relaxing and the polish was perfect. I went back 1 week later to get my misshapen nails that I had done at another salon weeks before. Fee again was my technician he gave good advice, reshaped, filled and designed my nails. Just got my mani/pedi groupon and it was great. I would have never found this place if it weren't for the groupon and I'll definitely be back. The nail art on young girls must definitely be happening on the westside and it was there in full effect and looked amazing. I'm a little advanced in years to be pulling that on my phalanges, but I can't wait until next summer to do some fun toes. Sara did my mani and pedi and it was great. My nails on day two are still unchipped which is unheard of, but I'm super excited about it. I've been to almost every nail place on the west side of Cleveland, but this is my favorite. Best prices and quality. My shellac last a good 3 weeks. And they don't charge to soak off previous gel which most places do which is an added bonus. Sophia is the owner and is always very hospitable as well as a perfectionist! They also carry my favorite shellac polish that changes colors based on mood (temperature ;) which is another reason I frequent here bc those polishes are not easy to find! read more

I'm settling on a 3 because I have nothing to compare to. I got my first manicure a couple of weeks ago and it was a pretty "A-OK" experience. I just wanted my nails shaped and painted (and to use the value of my Groupon that I never cashed in on :(...). Everything turned out great--my nails looked fantastic and even lasted through the weekend until I went back to work (a coffee shop) and beat the crap out of them. I think if I worked in a less intense nail-killing environment, the manicure probably would have lasted longer! My only complaint is that after all of the cuticle trimming and what seemed to be a tad too violent cutting, my cuticles are peeling more than ever now and I've even had to bandage a finger because it's bloody and won't heal from the chopped cuticle. This is more than likely because my job won't let it stay moisturized and heal, but if it weren't cut so deep in the first place, I think it wouldn't have been as big of a deal. Anyways, I've always done my own nails and have gotten pretty good at creative little things, so I think I was predisposed to not care for manicures. I'm more of a do-it-yourselfer when it comes to things like this. read more

This nail salon is the absolute worst one I've been to!! I get pedicures frequently. When I came to get a pedicure they did not use bags in the foot bath. The next day I woke up with a huge rash from my foot to my knee. I immediately called to tell them and asked for a refund since I discovered I received an infection from it. The manager/owner answered and said "Hi, I am with a customer right now I will call you back." Hours later I never received a call. I called back and she answered again saying "I am with a customer.....I will call you back today...maybe. Bye." And hung up on me. I went into the nail salon since she was not returning my calls and once I was refunded she said to me "Please do not come back!" I was completely taken aback by a owner would treat a customer like this and not even apologize but instead tell me not to come back!!? read more

I had the worst experience at this nail salon. I've gone before and the lady who did my nails was very kind, however did a poor job with my nail shape, and then the gel polish, that I overpaid for, chipped only a few days after. The only reason i went back is because they are open until 730, which gives me time to get there after work. (I work at a daycare so I almost never get off when I'm scheduled to.) All of this aside, i scheduled an appointment for 645, got there 5 minutes early, and waited 15 minutes for a lady to approach me and tell me I was late for my appointment so she assumed i wasn't coming. She insisted that I was wrong, that the appointment was at 630, instead of admitting her mistake and apologizing for my inconvenience. She told me I was in the wrong, humiliated me in front of an entire room of people, and then said she could do my nails 30 minutes later. I will NEVER go here again, and I would NEVER recommend this salon to anyone. Completely unprofessional and irresponsible. read more

I bought two groupons for a spa manicure and spa pedicure for my girlfriend and I to use. "Spa" I thought typically meant an hour. We were there for an hour total! Technician talked on her cell phone while doing pedicure. Technicians don't seem to be very "Clean" as the used the same utensils on everyone. Filed my toes and then proceeded to file my girlfriends nails without santitizing. Salon itself is even dirty, dust everywhere. I upgraded to Shellac manicure, for additional $20. Shellac was all over my cuticles, gluing my nail and skin together. Picked at it to get relief, which then chipped the sides of paint, drove me crazy! My girlfriend upgraded to a full set. She as well had glue issues to the underneath of her fingers. Salon under new ownership this year, I doubt it'll be in business long with the service/ cleaniness. read more

Don't respect clients times or honor appoitments. Twice I've made an appoitment with a specific technican and when i've gotten there she cannot fit me in and I've been asked to come back.
