Would give 0 stars. I intentionally waited until I was contacted to post this review…read more I called on Monday, Dec. 7th to schedule an appointment for 8:30am Wednesday, Dec. 9th. The appointment was confirmed over the phone. I was attempting to get a COVID Test done. I arrived about 8:05am Wednesday morning to allow time to fill out paperwork, get "checked-in" and follow proper protocols. After taking my insurance only, I was told that my test would be done in my car and that I would need to wait for a call from one of the nurses to get in the car line. I was also told the nurse would take my paperwork that I had filled out. At 9:30am, I had not received a call, so I called back just to verify that I was supposed to be waiting in my vehicle and make sure I didn't miss anything. I was told again to wait for a call. I continued to wait until 10:30am and never received a call. My paperwork was still in my possession. I drove into the car line, and asked one of the nurses, whom I had NOT spoken to before, if I made a mistake and that I had not yet been called for my appointment that was scheduled for 8:30am. She informed me that because I scheduled with such short notice (two days prior) that my appointment was being treated like a walk-in and that appointments made with that timeframe don't really count. She then said, "I'll go ahead take your paperwork and just wait for a nurse to call." I called another physician while still waiting (First Physicians/Wendover Family Medicine) and was able to schedule a time at 2:15pm, SAME DAY. I left this office just before 11:00am, nearly THREE hours after my scheduled appointment. I NEVER RECEIVED a call/text/email from ANYONE at this office until TODAY, December 18th. 9 DAYS LATER. I received and missed a call TODAY (18th) @ 12:17pm and called back @ 12:20pm. 3 minutes later, the person that contacted me was: "Unavailable and out to lunch and we'll have her call you back." I waited until 3:00pm for somebody to call back. Still Nothing. I initiated a callback MYSELF @ 3:13pm and was met with another, different contact. I simply said I was returning a missed call and gave my name. I was told, "Oh, they were trying to figure something out but they got it taken care of." I quickly mentioned that I TRIED to visit over a week and was never seen or contacted. She said "Yes, that's what it was, sorry about that. Have a good day." Zero remorse, zero effort, zero service. Seriously, go somewhere else.

Having been…read morediagnosed with several autoimmune diseases & seeing the same doctor in Dallas for 20 years, I was somewhat concerned about finding the right Internal Medicine Doctor to treat me. All that being said, my son, who is now 25, was diagnosed with childhood onset Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 7, and is the one who highly recommended Dr Prassad to me. He had nothing but praises for Dr Prassad a well as the entire staff @ Permian Internal Medicine Associates in Odessa. And lastly, as a T1D mom, when my son told me how stable his daily blood sugars have been, as well as his 3 month A1C checks all being within range, I was clearly elated! Dr Prassad continues to consistently monitor the many aspects of this disease, and plays a huge role on how my warrior son controls his diabetes. As for me, i have never felt as good as i do now. Thank you for touching my life. And I feel certain that any and all of your patients would agree!

My 2nd appt was almost lost due to a power outage. I was not informed of and I went to my now 2nd scheduled appt like normal only to be told I had to race to a clinic on 1936 in 14 mins or risk losing my follow up appt. 3. I made it to said appt only to wait 45 to an hour for a PA that didn't know why I was there and left little to no knowledge of my pain management. How about if ur going to call yourself a primary care Dr you act like it. All I heard was chickens squeaking from my door making me even more uneasy with the level of unprofessionalism. Teach your office assistants that work is not the place to be loud and obnoxious. I'll be writing a letter to Austin and to the so called hospital attached to this ghetto clinic.

The physician seemed to very much dislike her job, she seems to really not care. I was all smiles, this was my second time visiting her so I already had an idea about the way she is. After the check up I was leaving but stopped to tie my shoe. The physician then began to discuss to the other workers about my symptoms and the physician began making fun of me. I dread going to that clinic.

They are great when we are face to face, mostly. The wife is harder to talk to and she seems irritated when having to speak to me about my moms care. I am her caregiver, she lives with me and I cook, clean and care for her ever day needs but the Dr. doesn't care to hear me out most of the time and that is not good. My mom had dementia and the Dr will ask her questions she can not remember and can not fully explain, so when I step in to help the Dr seems aggravated and rolls her eyes or ignores me. I left room once because I was upset and how she treated me. I don't care about Me as long as My mom is happy, so I continue to take her with them. Heart Dr. seems to listen to us more and seems to care more. But when it come down to calling the office, getting prescriptions filled it takes forever to get things done. They order test but rarely call us with results. I have to wait a few weeks, call and call and leave message after message to get them. I have had to go in and speak to the front desk to get across to them that my mom needs meds filled or to know out come of lab and test. I wish they would just get back to my mom and treat our questions and concerns better.

I can't ever get them to call in prescriptions they require me to take timely. My husband was prescribed antibiotics, however, by the time they called it in, he didn't need them anymore. Referrals takes weeks and the excuse I get each time? They are short handed. This is the second time I've made it to the scheduled appt and had to leave because the referral was not called in. This latest one... I've been waiting for a week and a half. Spoke to the dr himself who also said would get done but hasn't. Last info received... it will get I Done today. They continue to see patients but fail to follow through on patient care after the visit. I do not recommend anyone going to see these physicians. They have no control over staff or office process. I've requested to speak with an office manager and all I get is that he is out of the office and will not be in until Friday. I will be switching my primary care physician.
