Very disappointing experience -- nothing "V.I.P." about it…read more Ordering a basic arrangement from Murrieta V.I.P Florist was unnecessarily complicated from the very beginning. Their website was not user-friendly, and what was advertised as a $119 deluxe bouquet ended up costing over $150 after everything was added. I selected same-day delivery, assuming that ordering before the store opened would give them plenty of time to make the delivery by mid day. However, I later learned that even if you place the order before they open, the delivery may not happen until after hours. That should be made much clearer during the ordering process. Other florists would provide at least a delivery window that you can choose from to anticipate delivery. To make matters worse, I never received an email confirmation for my order. I had to call the store once they finally opened just to make sure they had even received the order and to ask whether I needed to place it again. The person who answered the phone did not seem particularly welcoming or helpful. Even after I explained that I had not received a confirmation, I was not offered to be sent a confirmation or given any reassurance that the order had been properly processed. I then waited ALL day and received no delivery confirmation, text or photo notification that my order had been delivered. Eventually, I found out that the flowers had apparently been left unattended on the recipient's porch in the heat for a few hours in 98 degree weather! By the time they were actually received, the flowers were wilted! For spending that kind of money, I expected a much smoother ordering process, better communication, and, most importantly, flowers delivered in a condition appropriate for giving as a gift. Unfortunately, this experience fell well short of those expectations. Nothing "V.I.P." about my Murrieta VIP florist experience. Very disappointing, and I will not be ordering from them again. Save yourself the overpriced flowers and lack of customer service, and spend $75 or less gifting a beautiful boutique from the grocery store or Costco and get free delivery instead using door dash instead.
