I loved this concept and have never experienced this a la Carte sushi dining experience in the states. We arrived on a rainy Thursday night around 19:30 and it was fairly quiet, but as we browsed the robust menu, another 6 or so tables came in and the place became quite lively.
We ordered a lot of salmon (tostada) and raw as well as shrimp (fried and not) and some tuna as well. Everything was fresh and good.
The service was okay-could have been more prompt to pick up our add-on orders throughout the evening, but maybe that delay is actually a blessing as it gave us time to properly digest our food before re-upping or re-ordering.
They didn't take Visa/MasterCard from what we could understand from one waitress. read more
