It's been years since I've been to Naf Naf. The concept is like a Middle Eastern Chipotle where you can select from a salad, bowl, or sandwich and then customize your base, protein, and fillings. I did a chicken shawarma bowl with a base of half hummus and half couscous. Ingredients are fresh. The pita is worth mentioning. It's very fluffy and tasty. I didn't know it was included in the price of the entree so I didn't get one but I did try some of my husband's. I wish the spicy sauces were spicier but the food was tasty. read more

I had never been here before, but I had high hopes. It has a standard assembly line ordering system like at a chipotle. You can combine different bases and even your main protein. I did a chicken and falafel bowl. The sauces were varied and there was something for everyone in my group. The restaurant was reasonably clean and the staff were helpful with my parents who were unfamiliar with the offerings and had some questions. Ordered a chicken bowl with hummus, rice, and all the veggies. Barely any chicken (just small tiny shreds) and tons of rice. Barely any hummus at the bottom. Feel completely ripped off. Two stars instead of one star because maybe it was just a one-off. Please don't follow Chipotle and try to skimp on the meat. Naf Naf Grill was introduced to us through a Yelp Elite Experience a year ago, since then, it has become our go-to restaurant when we want/need a quick, delicious, and healthy takeout meal.  We have gotten takeouts from it countless times now, and it never disappoints!   At the Yelp experience, I got to try a Chicken Shawarma Hummus Bowl, with chopped salad (tomato, cucumber, cilantro), purple cabbage, and sumac onions as toppings. Then I picked tahini and garlic sauce on the side. Since the falafel was deep-fried, I only got one to try. However, it was crispy but not greasy, and tasted delicious.  Their falafel is made of healthy chickpeas.  It was so good that now I always order falafel as the protein!  I also always enjoy a fluffy pita bread that comes with the hummus bowl, and order a bowl of warm and tasty lentil soup to make the meal complete!   Ordering online is easy.  0rders are always ready at the time promised, and there have never been any mistakes.  The staff are friendly, the place is bright and clean, the food is healthy and tasty.  We will keep coming back! read more

My go-to Mediterranean quick service restaurant! This location is located in a parking lot right next to Starbucks, Chipotle and the gym. During lunch time and dinner time the parking lot really gets pretty full. However, one thing we can always rely on is the fact that the quality of food and freshness is always top notch. My go to order is a half hummus half rice bowl with chicken, chopped salad, cabbage, onions, the tahini and garlic sauce. We also can't get e-Naf of the falafels and the fries! Fun fact the fries in the garlic sauce, chef's kisses! When ordering, you build your bowl just as you would at a chipotle, however you can taste all of the incredible flavors and can tell that the items are made fresh. My favorite? The pita. You won't find completely authentic Mediterranean food here, but that's sort of expected from a fast food chain. We ordered a chicken schnitzel bowl with rice, couscous, purple cabbage, pickles, garlic sauce, and the s'khug sauce. It was EXTREMELY spicy, which ether disguised the meals' blandness or dominated any other seasoning that may have been in the food. I was hoping to taste more of the traditional seasoning you find in Middle Eastern cuisine, but I was left with disappointment and a burning tongue. I also personally love my bowls with some crunch to it. Biting into this bowl was too soft for my liking, even with the breaded and crusted chicken. They aren't allowed to because their managers have instituted strict portion controls. I hate cheap restaurants. I'd rather have you charge me $11 and fill it up. Was totally craving Levantine cuisine and spied the Naf Naf Grill deciding swoop in for a quick bite, but the Naf Naf grill is something you get when you read "Levantine food" and buy your first restaurant franchise for dummies. Here is what the Naf Naf is: -Fast -Fresh -Friendly -Clean What it is not: -Authentic -Affordable -Flavorful -Personable Shawarma, the mainstay of the Naf Naf, is basically Levantine street tacos. There in lies the problem - Naf Naf has converted an other wise affordable and plentiful food into an automated and artless process which decreases portion size, flavor profile and moisture content. Automation is only a benefit where speed and precision are essential, here, neither is required! Cooking and cutting shawarma is about as basic as it gets. It's the art of the seasoning and roasting that makes the magic not the gizmos. The automation process turns the rotisserie, and cuts the meat with malice. The meat just falls to a flat tray losing all the juices and flavor. Sharma is typically sliced into a handheld collector which gathers not only the meat but also the juices, sometimes be combined with previously cut meats allowing it to absorb even more flavor. The hummus is about as close to traditional as you'll find on the menu, but as for everything else it's all a little bit bland or way off from the standard. The soup is quite bland and celery laden vs lemony or lentilly. Eating the shawarma a sandwich left me with a sense of getting full on cold stuff, and I say stuff because it lacked in any of the flavors one would look for to know you were eating shawarma. This was my first time at Naf Naf Grill and I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. Middle-Eastern cuisine isn't usually my first choice for food, but I have been wanting to try this place for a while. Ordering is very similar to a Chipotle. You choose a bowl or a pita. Then you pick a base which could be rice or couscous although there are more options. I opted for couscous. You then choose a protein which I chose steak and then you top it off with vegetables and sauces. My bowl ended up being a pretty large size. Bowls also come with a side pita which is nice then you can just build your own. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with how good Naf Naf Grill is and I will definitely add it to my lunch spots in the future. I have been an occasional visitor to this Naf Naf that is arguably within lunch distance of my office. It does not quite meet the standard of the full-menu Niles location (the king of all Naf Nafs), but they do all right. The food is definitely good. If you do a bowl, go with the rice or cous cous bowl, for a couple of reasons. Number one, you get a lot of bang for your buck; you could make this your main meal of the day. Second, the hummus or baba ghannouj bowls are actually too flavorful (I know, a strange complaint). You have hummus, meat, two or three kinds of salad and vegetables, and sauces, with nothing neutral to balance all of that flavor except for the pita bread on the side. A rice bowl is much more balanced and satisfying. It's a heck of a value, and pretty tasty too. Getting your protein in pita form is good too, but they can't stuff as much toppings into that pita as they can into a bowl. It's a slightly lighter and slightly cheaper lunch option. Chicken shawarma is my favorite here, but falafel is really good also. Plus: Coke Zero in the fountain machine. Minus: Very busy at lunch--parking spots for both your car and your rear end will be competitive. read more

I got garlic sauce and rice so I don't make great choices. This location is clean, large and bright. The staff is quick and made my shawarma in about 5 minutes. I had a chicken shawarma with yellow rice, veggies, hummus, garlic sauce, pickles and onions. A very large sized fresh pita with everything meshing together. The meat is pre sliced off the spit and not heated on a flat top, something they should look into doing. It just sits in a warming bin and looked kind of old when I came in. I will say I will be back and next time I will also monitor the fixins they are inserting as mine came out a bit skimpy. That seems to be the issue with the chipotle era of fast food joints these days. They offer lots of ingredients but don't actually put much of them in your order unless you tell them to. This is a fast food restaurant with a limited menu which, to me, is a positive. The limited options reduce the time spent deciding what to eat. The service was very quick especially during a busy lunch hour rush. I went with the Founder's Favorite which was amazing. Their fresh classic pita sandwich was packed with chicken shawarma, chopped salad, and all that was then drizzled with their tahini sauce. I added a side of their Naf fries which was the only slightly disappointing part of the meal. Their fries really isn't the kind of fries I had in mind before ordering. Let me start off by saying that I LOVE Naf Naf's food in general. It's delicious, not too unhealthy and up until now their service was great too. For some reason this location however (willow rd) has been slacking so bad. They have been more than stingy about giving you a good amount of a portion size while the prices did not change. When you kindly ask for a full spoon or even a little more veggies since you won't get all toppings, you're either denied or confronted with an eye roll. Sorry but won't be coming here again. I am adding some pictures. A colleague was so kind to bring me my food today so I was not present when they made it. If I had been I would've returned it momentarily. The portion size is outrageous, there's barely any Humus (see picture where I scraped the rice to the side) and the amount of cabbage is laughable. On those pictures I had JUST GOTTEN the food, not one bite was taken! YOU CAN CLEARLY see how the bowl is barely filled and the cucumber was left away entirely. The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the first time we came here we really enjoyed it. We came in last night 2 hours before close and the place was empty. We walked in the doors and there was an employee walking around in the dining area. No greeting or anything just went back to the cooking area. This guy was clearing dirty dishes from the garbage area. He came over pulled his pants up and put on gloves...didn't wash his hands or anything. Gross. We decided to risk it for the biscuit and order anyways. First of all the food had been sitting on the line for who knows how long since they were dead. I mean there wasn't even meat out still rotating and cooking. My husband actually asked how long the falafel had been sitting out and the only words the guy said to us for our entire time there were "not that long" we ordered our food and a side of the naf fries. We took our food to go and left. The stellar customer service aside we wouldn't have been that upset and given it another try except that our food was inedible. The falafel were oily and cold and the naf fries were seriously over salted. We threw more then half of it away and I hate wasting food.
